Chapter 201

【 Side Story. Red Hair, Black Hair, Green Hair, Blond Hair 】

“Uwaaaah, Kale. I’m so tired today! Comfort !”

“Noona, what happened this ti?”

“No, listen. Our horoom teacher made study for the finals and……”

Lysquare Academy — the hallway was crowded with countless students walking by.

There, Kale was waiting for Kafka to arrive.

And soon after, Kafka appeared, and the mont she saw Kale, she ran over and hugged him tightly.

“…I see. That must’ve been tough. Feeling down because you kept getting scolded?”

“Yeah, I’m super depressed right now. So comfort .”

With that, Kafka kissed Kale.

Startled, Kale tried to push her away, but there was no way his strength could overpower Kafka’s.

Shorter than Kafka, Kale had no choice but to be helplessly devoured(?).

“…Haa. Ugh… Noona. There are a lot of people walking by here. You can’t do that in a place like this.”

“So what? I’d rather people saw us. That way they’ll know you’re mine.”

Kafka smirked faintly and hugged Kale again.

Because she was taller, Kale fit perfectly into Kafka’s arms.

“Noona, seriously. People are watching.”

Kale squird slightly in her embrace, as if embarrassed.

From Kale’s point of view, it was a small act of rebellion — an attempt to pull away from Kafka.

But seeing that, Kafka only seed more excited.

“Haah. You know, every ti you act like this, you’re just too cute.”

“I— I’m not cute! Don’t say things like that!”

Kale quickly turned his head away, replying with a pout.

He was clearly expressing his discontent, but that only served to provoke Kafka even more.

At that mont, a faint red gleam flickered in Kafka’s eyes.

“You’re making it hard for to hold back again. I can’t take it anymore. I’ve been under a lot of stress today, so…”

Kafka leaned closer to Kale’s neck.

Just as her sharp fangs were about to touch his skin—

“Noona.”

“…Huh?”

“I told you not outside, didn’t I?”

Kale placed his hand firmly over her lips, stopping her movent.

This ti, his expression was far more serious than before.

Seeing that, Kafka blinked in surprise and quickly stepped back.

“Ah, this is… I an… you were the one who tempted first—”

“No weird excuses again. Noona, rember what I said before? If you drink my blood outside, I won’t talk to or see you for a whole week.”

“Hey, that’s not fair. Not seeing you for a week is too much.”

“So, are you really not going to et for a week? Or do you want to get scolded again because you couldn’t resist?”

“I’d rather get scolded than not see you… but when you scold , it really hurts my heart, you know? I feel bad all day.”

As Kafka fidgeted nervously, Kale smiled.

Then, standing slightly on his tiptoes, he gave her a light kiss on the lips.

“I’ll let it slide this ti since you didn’t drink. And… you already drank yesterday. Are you still that thirsty today?”

“Well… not exactly thirsty, but it’s like… my throat started burning because of you. Sothing like that…”

“Noona, do you like that much?”

“I love you. More than words can express.”

“… too.”

At Kafka’s utterly straightforward answer, Kale blushed and went silent for a mont.

Then, with a helpless expression, he leaned close and whispered into her ear.

“Co to my room tonight.”

“Huh? Really? Then…”

“But I have class tomorrow, so don’t drink too much. Instead… I’ll allow anything else you want, so be satisfied with that.”

“Hey, Kale. You’re the one tempting this ti.”

“No, that’s not what I—”

“Ah, whatever. Hehe, Kale. I love you so much.”

Kafka hugged Kale tightly again.

Holding him in her arms, she stroked his hair and ran her hands along his body.

Kale struggled, but again, he couldn’t break free from Kafka’s grasp.

Then, just in ti, his savior appeared.

“What kind of disgraceful display is this in a public place, Kafka?”

“Ugh?”

A black-haired male student pulled Kafka away from Kale.

Kafka looked at him with a face full of protest.

“Hey, Dilug! Why? Kale’s mine, I was just—”

“Kale isn’t your possession. Rember—obsession and love are only a paper’s width apart.”

After giving that cold retort to Kafka, Dilug turned to Kale.

“I told you before, if sothing’s not okay, make it clear. Then she’ll stop when she gets the hint.”

“Yes, that thod does work. But sotis… it’s hard to say no in the mont…”

“That’s your problem to deal with. Just make sure she doesn’t cross the line. You’re the only one who can control her—she doesn’t even listen to the head of her own family.”

“Hey, Dilug.”

Kafka frowned at the eldest son of the Isrinbloom Ducal Family.

“Why are you talking like I’m so troublemaker?”

“Am I wrong? Anyway, why did you rush to find Kale right after class?”

“The teacher kept scolding all day, and I was in a bad mood. So I ca to get so energy from Kale—to calm my mind.”

“You got scolded because you ca in dead last in every subject during the midterms, didn’t you? That’s reason enough to get yelled at all day.”

“Hey! It wasn’t every subject! Swordsmanship—I still did well in swordsmanship!”

“But Kafka, you’re ranked last in the entire school right now.”

Another voice ca from nearby.

It ca from the window.

When Kafka turned her head, outside the hallway window stood a green-haired male student grinning slyly.

“Combining your first-year grades, your second-year first sester, and this sester’s midterm scores… congratulations, Kafka Balmuth. You’re officially dead last among all second-years!”

“Hey, Andrew! Shut up!”

Kafka reached toward Andrew, but he easily dodged her hand.

Then, with ease, he slipped through the window and landed beside Kale.

“Kale, you study pretty well, right? I saw your record—you ranked 5th overall last sester, and 3rd in the midterms this ti?”

“I—It was just luck.”

“Luck, my ass. A commoner couldn’t get grades like that with luck alone. You’ve got talent and skill. So maybe use a bit of that talent to help your girlfriend. At this rate, she might get held back and fail to graduate.”

“Held back, huh…”

Kale’s expression turned complicated, but Kafka, on the other hand, looked completely unconcerned.

“Held back? That might actually be a good thing. I could spend another year with Kale….”

“Noona.”

“Uh, y-yeah? Kale? W-why are you looking at like that?”

“If your grades don’t reach the middle rank by the finals, I won’t have any physical contact with you until winter break ends.”

“What? Hey! That’s too much! I had all these things I wanted to do with you this vacation…”

Kafka’s expression was one of genuine shock, but Kale remained completely firm.

“Noona, no matter what, repeating a year is not an option. So let’s study together until finals. You have to at least make grades good enough to graduate.”

“Ughh… I really don’t want to study…”

“If you don’t, I won’t go on dates with you or even hold your hand again…”

“Aaah! Fine, fine, I’ll do it. I’ll start tomorrow. B-but… we’re studying together, right? You’ll help ?”

Kafka fidgeted restlessly at Kale’s words.

Watching her, Dilug and Andrew both chuckled softly.

“The power of love really is sothing, huh? Don’t you think so, Andrew?”

“Sure is. Even the head of House Balmuth and my older brother, Prince Nazar, couldn’t control that wild thing… but a commoner managed to do it.”

“But seriously, how did Kale even get that crazy girl to fall for him?”

“I heard Kafka fell for him at first sight on her own. You saw it all last sester too, didn’t you? She kept chasing him everywhere. It was honestly a little scary.”

“Yeah, I rember that.”

Thinking back to those tis, Dilug couldn’t help but let out a small laugh.

“She was so aggressive back then that Kale even cried once.”

“At the ti, I thought Kafka’s first love was going to be a complete disaster… but then she turned things around by saving Kale after he was kidnapped during sumr break.”

“And the way she saved him… even now, it’s pretty unbelievable when you think about it.”

“She literally erased a whole mountain from the map. You have to admit, whatever else you say, her power is insane. How does she use that level of Blood Energy at her age?”

“If only she’d behaved a little better, she could’ve easily been the head of her family… but she’s been infamous as a delinquent since childhood.”

At Dilug’s words, Andrew let out a helpless laugh.

He wasn’t wrong—Kafka had caused countless problems since she was young.

So, despite her exceptional talent, she had been excluded early from the list of candidates for head of the house.

Not that Kafka cared much about it.

At this ti, she had no interest whatsoever in becoming head of the house.

“Still, you never know, Dilug. Maybe Kale will reform her and turn her into the next head of the Balmuth Family.”

“You really think that’s possible? That delinquent?”

“Hey, you never know. I think there’s a surprising chance.”

“I’ll bet twenty gold coins that it’ll never happen.”

“Twenty gold coins… pretty bold. But fine. I’ll bet twenty that Kale does make that delinquent into a head of the house.”

While the two male students chatted behind them, Kale was speaking more firmly to Kafka.

“Not tomorrow—starting today. We’ll begin studying right now.”

“Wait, what? You an… studying late at your dorm…?”

“Hey, Kafka. Hold up. What did you just say?”

Eavesdropping on their conversation, Andrew suddenly cut in, startled.

“Don’t tell you’re planning to sneak into Kale’s dorm again today? You got caught last ti and were punished with two weeks of toilet cleaning…”

“Hey, this ti Kale tempted first!”

“Andrew, let’s just let them handle that themselves. And Kafka.”

Dilug glanced around briefly, then spoke quietly.

“You didn’t forget our appointnt with Brother Nazar tonight, did you?”

“…That was today?”

“You really have no sense of responsibility when it cos to appointnts… sigh, forget it. Talking to you is pointless.”

Dilug sighed lightly, then continued.

“Anyway, make sure you show up tonight. Even if we’re close with Brother Nazar, he’s still royalty. You can’t break an appointnt with soone like that.”

“R-right. Hm, still… that’s kinda disappointing…”

Kafka turned back toward Kale.

“Can we… postpone our ti together until tomorrow?”

“There was only supposed to be a chance today. If you can’t tonight, then maybe next ti…”

“Ahh, t-then if I co late tonight…”

“I’m joking, Noona.”

Kale smiled playfully and gave her a light peck on the lips.

“Tonight won’t work, so co to tomorrow night. Tomorrow night… I’ll let you do whatever you want with .”

“…That’s it. You’re coming with right now. I’m taking you myself, this instant…”

“Good grief, you really are hopeless. Dilug, grab one side.”

“Got it.”

The two male students each grabbed one of Kafka’s arms.

Together, they began dragging her away.

“Hey, let go! I’m about to have a hot night with Kale—!”

“Quiet, you delinquent. Kale, heading to the library again today?”

“Yes, Andrew-nim. I still have a few more books I need to read.”

“Good. Study hard. We’ll make sure your girlfriend gets safely back to the girls’ dorm later.”

“Thank you very much.”

Bright yet polite—Kale’s deanor was as composed as ever.

Watching him, Dilug chuckled faintly.

“A junior that talented and sincere, but sohow stuck with that lunatic… I honestly feel bad for him.”

“What? Hey! Dilug! What did you just say?! Kale loves ! He’s with because he loves—”

“Enough. Andrew, let’s haul her out already. She’s heavy.”

And just like that, the red-haired girl was dragged away.

Kale watched his energetic lover being carried off and awkwardly waved goodbye.
