Fu ili saw Shen ng’s bewildered look and quickly pulled her aside.
"That, this person is the manager of our bus company, this one is the chief financial officer, and this is the secretary from our materials departnt."

Secretary Tang almost couldn’t help but laugh out loud when he saw how Shen ng greeted the others—it was so stiff and obviously unfamiliar.
"Comrade Shen, this is the official appointnt letter from the County Committee for your exceptional promotion. From now on, you will serve as Ning County’s Revolutionary Committee Secretary General and Director of the Research Departnt. The County Committee has already set up a dedicated office for you, and all the necessary supplies have been prepared. You may take up the post imdiately, or you can rest for a couple of days before assuming the role, depending on your schedule."

He cramd the appointnt letter into Shen ng’s arms, briefly greeted the people from the bus company, and took off with his group, running as though a dog was chasing him.
Shen ng felt that the rapport previously developed with Secretary Tang had gone down the drain!!!
The people at the public transportation company congratulated her a few more tis.
Shen ng thought for a mont and decided to finish her last shift, tidy up everything that needed to be put away, and took advantage of the lunch break to slip away to her private space. She gathered so fine fruits, a few packs of chocolate, and several bottles of osmanthus perfu bought from the small commodity market. She gave one bottle to each person in the office, and all the edible gifts were left on the table for everyone to share.
But she prepared a set of skincare products especially for Fu ili, products that were common yet hard to co by these days.

Shen ng blinked and said, "As long as it doesn’t involve principle errors, doesn’t harm others’ interests, or doesn’t involve money or murder, I’ll still offer help if I can."
Fu ili: "......"

"Well then, that’s good. You know what, I happen to be free today, so let’s have dinner together tonight, my treat. Once you leave, we won’t have many chances to gather like this, and next ti we et, even our statuses will have changed."

When Yu Xueli and Wu Xianglan heard about a free al, they imdiately ca over with their handbags. Shen ng noticed that Wu Xianglan had even brought two lunchboxes, planning to take ho leftovers after eating.
