Ever since the massive awards ceremony, the atmosphere had grown noticeably livelier.

Especially the part where I gave Soo-ah shares in Koryo Entertainnt—that had the biggest impact. The reaction back then was explosive.

No one probably thought shares would actually be handed out. Not even Soo-ah herself.

Now, the other secretaries will have hope. Even though she’s not a knight, she still received shares, so they'll start thinking—If I work hard enough, maybe soday I’ll get the sa.

“Nothing motivates like rewards.”

That’s how I see it.

Acting out of positive motivation is far more effective than doing things under negative pressure.

There’s a clear difference between soone who obeys out of fear of death and soone who obeys because they receive overwhelming benefits. They’re worlds apart in every sense.

A person who does the bare minimum vs. one who pushes their maximum—philosophically, that’s already been proven.

Communism versus capitalism.

Capitalism wins, obviously.

Sure, if you don’t handle the side effects well, you risk creating ga-corporate dictatorships like Koryo Group—but that’s a minor(?) detail.

There’s no system more effective at extracting soone’s full potential than capitalism.

So, even though I handed out hundreds of billions in mileage points today, it’s not a real loss.

If it helps pull even a bit more sincerity from my secretaries, then all of it just gets converted into my wealth.

Just look at Soo-ah. She looked half-dead earlier, but now she’s smiling and laughing in the middle of a crowd of secretaries.

If all my secretaries and cockslaves wear that expression—I beco invincible.

I left the cockslaves to enjoy themselves and stepped out onto the terrace.

Naturally, Baekseol was beside and placed a cigarette between my lips, and Seunghee imdiately lit it for .

The pungent aroma hit hard and cleared my head.

“Looks like I’ll need to give Soo-ah so training, huh?”

I’m thinking of moving her from Chief Secretary to President—but that depends on her capability.

Her loyalty is beyond doubt, but she went from cop straight to secretary. It’s not like she knows anything. Even if I assign her experts, if the leader lacks judgnt, the whole thing could fall apart in an instant.

Sure, most of the things I handle are cheat-level artifacts, so they tend to run smoothly regardless—but even then, I can’t have soone utterly clueless sitting in a president’s chair.

“I’m already an idiot—if the president’s an idiot too, what then? That won’t do.”

In the end, Soo-ah needs training.

She started as an ergency patch with no proper training back when I didn’t even have a proper secretary office, and she ended up sliding into the Chief Secretary position by montum alone. This is the result of that.

“Maybe I should start with Prestige training?”

The only saving grace is that the knowledge she really needs can be injected.

And I don’t an morization—I an actual, literal injection of knowledge into the brain.

I heard about it from Go Min-young, so I don’t know the exact details—but if even she uses it, it can’t be that dangerous.

What she truly needs is wisdom and judgnt. The countless auxiliary knowledge needed for her role can all be uploaded.

As the cigarette burned down, I sent everyone else back inside, leaving only Seunghee and Baekseol with .

So now it was just the three of us on the terrace—, Ra Seunghee, and Baekseol.

“Seunghee.”

“Yes?”

“Start preparing the transition.”

“Huh?”

“You’re the next Chief Secretary.”

“...!!”

I’d also considered Seo Aram, the etiquette team leader and protagonist of one of my projects.

But she was the last to join among the team leads and had the least achievents.

Soo-ah at least had seniority and had been by my side back when there was no secretary office, so others could accept it. Seo Aram didn’t have that foundation.

Promoting soone like her would damage the organization.

“Seunghee will eventually move into the board of presidents, too... but she needs experience in executive coordination first.”

The way I picture it: Im Soo-ah will beco President of Koryo Entertainnt, and Ra Seunghee will beco Chief Secretary for a while, gaining experience, before moving on to beco President of Koryo Finance.

Seunghee is already overqualified, just based on her specs. She has an insane calculation trait called Shinsan, and she’s even Boldface-type. That makes her perfect for investnt and managent roles.

The only flaw is that she still lacks any loyalty-related trait—but I plan to imprint that onto her when she takes over the Chief Secretary role.

I’m not sure how I’ll do it yet, though.

“Guess I’ll have to use sexual domination to its fullest.”

That’s where Dull Log like Do Yoon-ah becos crucial.

If I can make even a Dull Log go dumb with lust, then I can conquer any woman.

“Koryo Entertainnt and my other corporations—they’ve only been around a short while, but they’ve already grown massive. You can’t sustain that with just one ‘CEO’ title.”

“M-Master...!”

“I’ll be sending Soo-ah to Prestige for training soon. Once she’s back, I’ll appoint her as President of Koryo Entertainnt. It’ll take ti to formalize it, though.”

Seunghee and Baekseol were visibly shocked at the huge announcent.

“So you’re reorganizing the entire structure...”

“Yeah. It’s ridiculous to think one representative can handle all these companies. It’s ti to get serious.”

All the corporations I own now... Even if we leave out Koryo Entertainnt as the holding company, there’s Muyeol Finance, the Muyeol Land managent corp, the special correctional firm, Muyeol Chemicals, Jeju Contemporary Art Museum, the Super Yacht, Shinmirae Daily, Baekseolgongju—and not yet incorporated, but a huge portfolio of Songdo real estate.

And many of these companies have their own subsidiaries. The Muyeol Land Managent Corp, for example, owns the AV Managent Company and several support firms that maintain the Artificial Island.

Plus, we’ve got nonprofit organizations like the Cockslave Association.

All of that—until now—has been run under the title of “CEO of Koryo Entertainnt.”

Honestly, what the hell does Koryo Entertainnt have to do with Muyeol Chemicals? Bundling all this together is insane.

Ultimately, every company should have its own president and board with full decision-making power. And I should receive reports in my role as Chairman.

Only the most critical matters—like the RK series managed by Muyeol Chemicals—should stay under my direct control.

“Still... if I start calling myself Chairman, I hope Grandpa won’t scold and go, ‘You little punk...’”

Technically, Go Min-young and Go Hayoung aren’t addressed as Chairpersons either.

But that’s not because they’re not on that level—rather, “Vice Chairman of Koryo Group” is considered a higher rank than “Chairman of Militaris” or “Chairman of the Finance Holdings,” so everyone just calls them Vice Chairman.

When you refer to soone, you call them by their highest title, right? That’s just how it works.

“Once the consolidated HQ is built at the Namdong Industrial Complex, everything will fall into place. Start preparing. For anything.”

“...Understood. Thank you for trusting , Master.”

“It’s still classified, so don’t go running your mouth. Watch your behavior too. If anyone catches on, it’ll be a pain.”

“Yes.”

Now that I’ve actually set all this in motion, I do feel a bit of regret.

I guess I just... wanted to see more of Chief Secretary Im Soo-ah.

Still, it’s not like we’re parting ways.

Sure, she’s moving into the executive tier, but she’ll still be inside the consolidated HQ. And when I go on important business trips, she’ll be tagging along under the title of “Executive Board mber,” so it’s no different from when she was Chief Secretary.

But humans are weird. We grow attached to even the smallest things.

Even sothing as trivial as a na or a title ends up soaked with mories.

“Seol, keep expanding Baekseolgongju. I’ll be funneling most of my combat resources into you.”

“Yes, my lord.”

Right now, it’s just a few knights, a few chas, and so rcs Soo-ah brought along when she beca my secretary.

But eventually, it’ll grow to the level of a standing army.

Give it five years, and the scale might rival that of a small nation.

With support from Militaris, we’ll keep adding knights and chas, keep receiving deliveries of all sorts of weapons, and eventually, just like Go Minji, we’ll be buying aircraft carriers and the like—it’ll beco massive.

Big enough to conduct independent diplomatic interventions.

“Let’s go back in.”

After finishing the cigarette and lingering a while longer, we reentered ★ 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 ★ the venue.

The banquet hall was still buzzing.

— Zzzt.

Right then, I got a ssage.

Sender: Go Minji.

– Yo

Guess she’s texting about the passage of the Permanent Special Prosecutor Act?

Like it or not, the one I’ve banged the most is Go Minji.

She must feel the sa—that’s probably why she texted right away. A way of congratulating for the thing her brother poured so much effort into.
