Alina reached for the next notebook and imdiately noticed how different it looked. Its cover was simple but charming—a forest-green shade with tiny leaf doodles drawn along the edges. The paper cover, however, had several small bite marks on the corner, and Alina sighed softly, already knowing exactly who it belonged to.

"Luna!" she called out, raising the notebook slightly in her hand.

Across the classroom, Luna’s furry ears twitched instantly. She froze mid-chew—ironically, chewing on the end of her pencil this ti—and slowly looked up. "Yes, teacher?" she said.

Alina smiled, trying not to laugh. "You’ve been very creative with your book cover, I see," she teased.

Luna huffed, put her pencil on her desk, and crossed her arms. "It’s not my fault, teacher. It tasted like wood!"

The class burst into laughter. Boo floated down beside her, still giggling. "You really need to stop tasting everything that looks like a tree!"

Luna growled softly, her cheeks puffing. "It was one bite!"

Alina shook her head fondly, chuckling. "Alright, alright. Let’s see what our Luna wrote."

She flipped through several pages, so covered with small paw prints and faint smudges of mud until she finally found the page with Luna’s test answers. Her handwriting was bold, large, and slightly ssy, as if she’d been writing too fast to bother with neatness.

Alina smiled as she ran her thumb over the page. "Hmm, looks like soone was very confident," she said warmly before glancing up. "Let’s read it, shall we?"

Luna straightened in her chair, her tail wagging nervously. The rest of the class leaned forward in anticipation, eager to hear what kind of wild answers their wolfish friend had co up.

Alina smiled as she read Luna’s answers aloud for everyone to hear.

"Okay, so Luna’s first answer says..." she began, her voice filled with amusent. "The sky is a beautiful place and it has many colors. I wish sotis I could run on the clouds because they look so soft."

The class imdiately erupted in giggles and awe.

Drake raised his hand, his amber eyes sparkling. "Teacher, can I co too when Luna runs on clouds? I’ll bring snacks!"

Luna crossed her arms with a little huff. "No! I’m running alone. You’re too heavy—you’ll break my cloud!"

Boo gasped dramatically. "How dare you! You’d leave behind?!"

"Both of you," Alina said, smiling patiently, "can only go if Luna invites you. It’s her dream, after all."

That earned another wave of laughter, and Luna’s tail wagged despite her grumpy face.

Alina turned the page. "Now, question two. Five words that start with ’S’—Squirrel, Supper, Soil, Salad, and Shoes."

She chuckled softly. "I see soone was thinking about food again."

Luna’s ears perked up. "Supper and salad are healthy!" she said proudly, even though she didn’t like salad.

Alina laughed quietly. "You’re right, Luna—supper and salad are healthy choices. And shoes are important if you plan to run on clouds."

"Exactly!" Luna said proudly, crossing her little arms again.

Drake leaned toward Boo and whispered, "And squirrel probably isn’t salad."

"Shh!" Boo snorted, glowing pink from trying not to laugh.

Alina turned to the next page and smiled. "Question three: Na five animals you know."

She read slowly, "Bird. Rabbit. Mosquito. Squirrel. Fish. Deer. Pig."

The class stared at her for a mont and then Boo exploded. "Mosquito?! That’s not an animal! That’s a tiny fly!"

Drake howled with laughter, clutching his stomach. "Squirrel! Mosquito! Pig! Luna’s zoo is wild!"

Even Vlad Jr., who usually remained composed, pinched the bridge of his nose with a small sigh. "Technically, a mosquito is an insect, not an animal."

Luna puffed out her cheeks, looking offended. "It is alive! It flies! And it bites all the ti! That counts as an animal!"

Alina couldn’t help it—she laughed softly, her eyes shining. "Well... she’s not wrong," she said gently. "It’s alive, it moves, and it exists in nature."

"See!" Luna said triumphantly, folding her arms with a smug grin. "Even teacher agrees!"

Drake leaned over to Boo and whispered loudly, "Next ti I’m writing ’cookie’ as an animal."

Boo nodded seriously. "Sa. It’s alive in my dreams."

Alina gave up on keeping a straight face and laughed with them all, her heart warm with joy. "Alright, Luna," she said finally, "you did wonderfully. Even if your answers are a little... creative."

She handed Luna three cookies, which the little wolf took proudly, her tail wagging in victory.

When Alina asked her to pick any two snacks, Luna’s eyes lit up imdiately. She looked inside the bag and spotted a bright yellow packet peeking through. "Mango juice!" she gasped, pulling it out and hugging it like it was the most precious thing in the world.

Then she searched again, her hands brushing through the packets until she found one that made her grin wide—a red packet filled with crispy chips. The picture on the front showed golden slices that looked suspiciously like dried at.

"These!" she declared proudly, holding them both up. "Mango juice and crispy chips!"

Alina laughed softly. "Good choices, Luna."

But before Luna could return to her seat, Drake’s eyes locked onto the shiny red packet. His mouth practically watered. "C-crispy chips?" he said in a longing whisper, staring as if he had just seen his soulmate.

Luna noticed his gaze imdiately. Her tail stiffened, and a low growl rumbled in her throat. "Mine," she said firmly, clutching the snacks to her chest.

Drake gulped, raising his hands in surrender. "O-okay, okay! I wasn’t going to steal it... just... sll it."

Boo floated by and snorted. "You can sll it later when she eats it."

Drake slumped dramatically in his seat. "This class is full of an snack hoarders."

Alina laughed again, shaking her head as she walked back to the board. "No fighting over snacks, alright? Everyone will get their turn. Now," she said, turning toward the stack of notebooks, "who’s ready for the next one?"

Her hand reached for the top book, and the mont she saw it, she couldn’t help but smile. The cover was bright red, shiny enough to catch the sunlight, and right in the center was a huge black bat logo. The corners were neatly folded, the spine polished, and it even slled faintly of scented ink.

Before she could even say the na, Drake blurted it out excitedly, wings flapping. "Vlad Jr.! That’s definitely Vlad Jr.’s notebook because it’s so pretty and beautiful!"
