EP.362

Grand Duchy of Warsaw.

The square in front of Baltic Castle Normally at this ti of year, this place would be noisy and bustling with rchants and people coming to buy goods, but now it is suspiciously quiet.

This is because there was an announcent that an important announcent would be made by the Grand Duke of Warsaw a little later.

People from all walks of life, from nobles to commoners to lowly serfs, were all watching quietly, wondering what kind of announcent would be made.

“Are you trying to say that war will break out again?”

“If war breaks out, won’t they get away with that damn special tax and all? “It’s my daughter’s wedding next month…”

“Don’t panic. You never know. “I wonder if His Majesty the Grand Duke will be happy and say that he will hold a festival.”

anwhile, the proclamation officer ca up to the stage holding a docunt containing the Archduke of Warsaw’s orders.

The Archduke’s order, which the people in the presentation hall had been waiting for with 90% anxiety and 10% anticipation, was finally opened, and the man on the stage began to read it in a loud voice.

“Our Grand Duchy has faced a major crisis that has not been seen in hundreds of years.”

Everyone who was standing under the podium and listening to the proclamation could not believe their ears.

As he looked around, he wondered if he had heard sothing wrong… but other people’s expressions showed the sa astonishnt as his own.

He was despairing and afraid that what he had heard was not nonsense.

The governor also tried hard not to show his emotions, but his hands and legs were already shaking.

The reading continued.

“There is only one reason. This is because of the Reich Empire, which invaded to kill and trample on us who were living in peace, and especially the evil Peter Jaeger, the leader of the invasion. Because of that guy, you probably often thought like this. ‘Peter Yeager, what if that cruel man attacks again with his sword drawn?’ Have you ever had days when you couldn’t sleep because of these anxious thoughts when you were trying to go to bed after a hard day?”

For an order delivered by the so-called grand duke of a country, the content written inside sounded very weak, or even like a scared coward.

Everyone here never thought that in their lifeti, the Archduke would announce sothing like a coward, trembling with fear, as a proclamation.

Usually, when war is declared, Warsaw, under the care of Deus, is sure to win. When the Archduke’s brave and strong soldiers step forward, the enemy is defeated in one blow. Deus is on our righteous side, so there is no need to worry.

A proclamation that was different from usual. It gradually brought fear to the people.

“What the fuck should I do if Peter Yeager cos in again? “Can we stop that bastard?”

“According to Yakov, who settled down after working as a rcenary, that guy Peter Egger can easily cut down and kill 300 people by himself…”

“Don’t you have to run away to survive even now? “Where on earth do I have to go to survive?”

The proclamation officer, who was reading the archduke’s orders, had similar thoughts to those below the podium.

‘Fuck, my assets aren’t even that much. In any case, if you want to survive, do you have to pack up your sleeves and go into exile in the Reich Empire? What kind of proclamation is this? And how can anyone beat Peter Yeager?’

But his professional spirit led him to read the following.

“I empathize with you feeling that fear. Because it is true that I, Archduke Stefan, was unable to properly stop Peter Jaeger due to my incompetence. Because of this, many young people in Warsaw unfortunately died during the battle. And you have lost soldiers and officers who were your beloved husbands, sons and lovers. “As a grand duke, I cannot raise my head because of my sha.”

The people below the podium even forgot that they were scared the mont the Grand Duke apologized.

Because in the last battle where over 100,000 young people died or beca disabled because of Peter Yeager, the Archduke only expressed ‘regret’ or ‘regret’.

This ti, it was difficult to understand the situation in which they bowed down their high pride and said they were sorry before anything happened.

A smile spread across the proclamation officer’s face when he saw what was written after these shocking words.

“So I kept thinking. How can we defeat Peter Jaeger, who threatens our safety and a peaceful life with our families, and defeat the Reich Empire? And I found a way to do it.”

The people were whispering and muttering about how to punish Peter Yeager.

“I wish I could kill that son of a bitch, Peter Yeager. “Is it even possible?”

“When I was serving in the Warsaw Navy, I saw so bastards fighting swords against him. “Every ti he swung his sword, 2 to 3 people would run away.”

“Does that matter? The problem is that you lose like a dog even in battles you thought you could win. In Griffino, he was just like a walking storm. “Who would have expected that the power difference would be several tis greater and that it would burn down all of our ships?”

When everyone here reflects on Peter Yeager’s accomplishnts and prays for that heretic bastard to die as soon as possible.

“We, the Grand Duchy of Warsaw, the Grand Duchy of Czechia, the Grand Duchy of Austria, and the Kingdom of Stockholm, will join forces to subdue the Reich Empire. We, the Grand Duchy of Warsaw, will mobilize 250,000 troops. “If we combine the forces of all four countries, we will have a large army of over 1 million people, and we will invade the Reich Empire.”

If they had said they were going to lead 250,000 troops to attack the Reich Empire, they would have been killed by Peter Jaeger anyway, so they argued that they should start a rebellion instead.

It was said that he was going to attack the Reich Empire with a number of ‘1 million’, an unprecedented number on the Europa continent… It was thought that even Peter Jaeger would be unable to do anything with this overwhelming force.

The disappointnt, fear and worries I felt at the beginning of the proclamation have completely disappeared in front of this number of 1 million troops, and everyone is now cheering.

The governor took a deep breath, surrendered himself to the overwhelming emotion, and spoke as if making a declaration.

“I, the Grand Duke of Warsaw, will go to the battlefield with you to personally subdue Peter Jaeger, who is feared by all the people of the Grand Duchy! A million troops will be with us, so wouldn’t now be the best opportunity to avenge our family’s loss and gain peace, wealth, and honor! So, anyone who wants to volunteer for the expedition should imdiately go to the nearby barracks and apply for enlistnt. If you have any supplies, leave them to the military to protect your family. Then I will take away all your resentnt and fear and give you peace, wealth, and honor in its place!”

After reading the proclamation, the proclair hurried down to the podium, and everyone in the square shouted loudly, “Long live the Archduke.”

Eight years have passed since Warsaw went to war with Peter Jaeger, but his na still remains a symbol of fear to the people of this country.

The fear that Peter Jager, a devil from hell, might return at any mont leading the Reich Imperial Army was deeply rooted not only in the hearts of those who participated in the war at the ti, but also in the hearts of those in the rear who experienced the war at the sa ti.

This is because there was an expectation that with an army of over 1 million people, they would be able to kill Peter Yeager and live comfortably in peace…

“I lost both of my precious sons because of that bastard Peter Yeager! “If you don’t kill Jaeger, you might end up in trouble.”

“I lost my ho and my entire family because of him!”

“Let us join forces and fight together with His Majesty the Archduke! “Let’s tear the Jaeger limbs from limb and kill him!”

Those who suffered the pain of losing their families or property because of Peter Yeager beca great wind catchers, which made even those who had been discharged from the military pick up spears again.

This passionate public support created an atmosphere in which the nobility had no choice but to reduce luxury and add war materials.

The only people who benefited from this process were rchants who signed military supply contracts, but no one pointed out this fact.

Because all of them were obsessed with the number ‘1 million’ and the madness of destroying the empire…

anwhile, Peter Yeager muttered after hearing this news.

“I can’t believe there’s an idiot who thinks I’m a walking natural disaster. “The only real commander in the event of a natural disaster is Admiral Yi Sun-sin.”

When Laura and Anya heard this, they thought about it, although they did not say it out loud.

‘I don’t know who Yi Sun-sin is, but if he were our enemy, wouldn’t it be a great disaster that will remain in the history of the enemy country?’
