Li De looked curiously around the familiar arrangent of the room. “Nilo, where do you usually work?” The space was clearly well-maintained, but unused.
Nilo’s light golden eyes, filled with dignity, t Li De’s deep gaze as she shook her head.
“Your Majesty, I rarely stay in the cathedral. Most of my ti is spent spreading your glory throughout the city, so I don’t have a private office.”
Nilo didn’t like handling the cathedral’s day-to-day affairs. She preferred to be out among the people, preaching in person.
The steady rise in the number of believers over this period was largely due to her. In all of Dawn City, there wasn’t a single person who disliked this holy girl. Even devout followers of other Orders didn’t refuse to listen when she spoke of the Dawn Order.
Li De shook his head slightly at her answer. “Nilo, you’re the Holy Maiden of the Dawn Order. When Bishop Emi is away, you’re its acting administrator.
No matter the ti, you should have an office of your own. Who’s supposed to handle the affairs of the Dawn Order otherwise?”
The girl looked a little nervous, bowing her head as she replied in a soft voice, “Your Majesty, the affairs of the Order recently… haven’t been handled by .”
Hmm? Li De was slightly surprised. Since Emi officially began overseeing the Dawn Mage Tower, all power over the Order had been handed to Nilo.
If she hadn’t been managing it, how had the Dawn Order grown so steadily?
There had been no trouble at all. On the contrary, its prestige among the citizens had risen, and new believers joined daily.
Before he could ask further, Nilo answered on her own.
“Your Majesty, it’s my sister. My sister has been managing the affairs of the Dawn Order.”
“Your sister??”
Li De was stunned. He knew Nilo had a sister, but he hadn’t expected that she would entrust her with managing the entire Order.

“Where is your sister?”

Her voice was soft and cute, a stark contrast to her usual sacred and solemn deanor.
At this mont, she was nothing like the poised Holy Maiden that everyone else knew. It was as if that radiant, holy exterior had been peeled away, leaving only her most genuine self, revealed only to Li De.
Li De noticed the change in her and was slightly amused. It seed that all the girls around him had two sides to them.

He nodded. “Go bring her. I want to et your sister.”
Managing the massive Dawn Order wasn’t a simple task, and the fact that Li De had originally assigned Emi to oversee it spoke volus.
Back then, only a seasoned figure like Emi could handle the chaos that ca with running a church. But now there was soone who could manage it as well as a veteran of the Temple of the Knight God?
Dawn City had always suffered from a shortage of capable administrators, a problem that had long plagued Li De.
Even though the City Hall had managed to train a batch of usable talent recently, it still wasn’t enough.
So when it ca to administrative talent, he valued it no less than top-tier combat power.
“Yes, Your Majesty.”
Nilo bowed and turned to leave. Not long after, she returned with a slightly shorter figure beside her.
Li De looked curiously at the girl next to Nilo, and when he finally saw her face clearly, his eyes lit up.
The girl was young, around sixteen or seventeen, dressed in a pure white priest’s robe, and like her sister, had long, flowing black hair.
Her skin was like milk, fair and flawless. Her features were exquisite, even more perfect than the already stunning Nilo.
If Nilo scored a 95 in beauty, this girl could easily score a 98.
The resemblance between the two was about seventy percent, but the key difference was in the girl’s eyes. Her black irises shimred with clever mischief, brimming with a rare and indescribable spirit.
“Your Majesty, this is my sister, Niko.” Nilo’s golden eyes carried a quiet authority as she frowned at the curious girl who hadn’t spoken a word while openly examining Li De.
“Niko, show your respect to His Majesty.”
At Nilo’s words, Niko snapped out of her trance. Her lively black eyes locked on Li De’s handso face, and a faint blush crept onto her cheeks.
“Lord Kachar, Niko greets you.”
Her voice was clear and youthful, with a unique girlish charm, quite different from Nilo’s solemnity.
“Niko, has it been you helping your sister manage the Dawn Order lately?”
As Li De subtly probed with his senses, he noticed sothing unexpected, this sixteen or seventeen-year-old girl was not one of his believers.
Interesting.
Nilo, who was one of his most devout followers, had a sister who didn’t believe in him at all.
But Li De didn’t mind. He wasn’t a zealot. Faith or no faith, it didn’t matter to him as long as the person was loyal.
Niko stood neatly by Nilo’s side, her eyes filled with curiosity and a hint of fear as she looked at Li De. As the Lord of Dawn, his status among the people of Dawn City was unmatched.
Even though her sister was his most trusted Holy Priest, she still felt awe toward Li De.
“Yes, Lord Kachar,” she replied.
After receiving a clear response, Li De gave a slight nod, walked behind the pristine white rectangular desk, and sat down with a relaxed posture, his gaze calmly resting on the very pleasing pair of sisters before him.
“Can you tell why you don’t believe in the Dawn Order?”
