“Maid?” Glory’s Light looked puzzled.
Nass shot him a glare. “Let finish!”
Glory’s Light rubbed his nose and stayed silent.
Nass raised his chin proudly.
“You think being Lord Li De’s maid is easy?
Don’t be ridiculous. Lady Vina has been with Lord Li De since the very beginning. She’s the one he trusts most.
When he’s not around, the entire Crimson Mage Tower is managed by her.
She holds trendous power.” He gave Glory’s Light a stern glare.
“You’d better not offend Lady Vina. She holds massive influence in Green City.
Even soone like Lord Hertz bows respectfully to her.
If she wanted to deal with us, one glance is all it would take and tomorrow our corpses would be floating in the city sewers.”
Glory’s Light nodded fervently. “Don’t worry. I won’t drag you down.”

He fixed Glory’s Light with a serious gaze.
“Believe , if you’re lucky enough to et Lord Li De, you’ll feel nothing but honor.”
Hearing this, Glory’s Light felt intense curiosity surge within him.
Just what kind of person was this man, so powerful, so well-connected, and owner of such a formidable mage tower?
