A piece of news that set all of Dawn City ablaze arrived.
The Dawn Mage Tower was officially completed and opened today.
The great City Lord Kachar would personally attend the inauguration ceremony.
The words ‘Mage Tower’ carried an aura of sacred inviolability for the common folk of Glory.
In fact, in the eyes of many, the status of a Mage Tower was equivalent to that of a temple blessed by the gods.
Mystery, power, majesty, magic, wealth, authority. All of these words represented the truest feelings commoners had toward Mage Towers.
If one were to ask which profession was the most powerful in Glory, the answers might vary: Dragon Riders, Mages, Temple Warriors, Bloodline Warriors, any of them could be nad as number one.
But if the question were: what profession do the commoners of Glory most wish to beco?
Then there was no doubt, only one answer existed: Mage.
In a world of magic, the status of a mage lord was equivalent to that of nobility, and beyond that, mages possessed far greater power than nobles ever could.
There was no one who did not long to beco an elegant, graceful mage lord who could cast spells at will.
So when the Dawn Mage Tower was completed, the entire population of Dawn City was thrown into excitent.
Because Lord Kachar had once promised them that in the future, their children would have the opportunity to beco apprentices of the Mage Tower, to beco exalted mage lords.
And the great Lord Kachar had never once lied to them. Never!
People rushed to spread the word. Hope shone in everyone’s eyes.
Even if their children didn’t have the talent to be selected, it represented hope.
Whether they would be chosen or not was one thing. Whether they had a choice was another.
As a result, over the past few days, the number of believers in the Dawn Order had surged once again.
Because Lord Kachar had fulfilled his promises ti and again. Housing distribution, land allocation, the construction of the Mage Tower, everything he had done filled the residents with satisfaction and pride.
Naturally, Li De was very pleased with this. After all, everything in Dawn City was his private property, both the Bloodline Descendants and the humans alike.

From the day construction began until the project was completed, the site had an average of over 500 human construction workers and more than 100 Bloodline Descendants working daily. At peak tis, the site swelled to 2,000 civilians, plus six or seven Cyclops.
With such an extravagant expenditure of effort, it still took half a year to complete, consuming a total of 60,000 Gold Pucks.
And finally, a colossal building had erged from the ground.
Li De stood before the entrance of the Dawn Mage Tower. Even having seen the splendor of the White Tower, he could not help but admire the Mage Tower he had created.

The Dawn Mage Tower consisted of one main tower and eight auxiliary towers.

It was even three tis thicker than the White Tower owned by Spark, a Level 19 Grand Mage.
The outer walls of the round tower were coated in black alchemical paint. This was a formula Emi had acquired from the Temple of the Knight God. The cost of these coatings alone was a staggering 20,000 Gold Pucks.
Of course, the effect was equally remarkable. The mana density and activity inside the Mage Tower were over five tis greater than outside. Practicing ditation and mana training within the tower was vastly more effective than doing so anywhere else.
The remaining eight auxiliary towers were each 15 blades high, with five floors. Their footprint was double that of the Crimson Mage Tower, though they were slightly shorter in height.
The auxiliary towers were spaced about 300 blades from the main tower, encircling it in eight directions like stars surrounding the moon.
Surprisingly, the auxiliary towers were not painted with black alchemical paint. Instead, they each featured a different color.
Red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and purple, seven colors forming a rainbow. Only the auxiliary tower directly at the front gate of the Mage Tower shared the sa black as the main tower.
The entire complex resembled a rainbow, blending mystery with aesthetic beauty, perfectly aligned with Li De’s tastes.
The Dawn Mage Tower complex was surrounded by towering blue-green walls made of bluestone, which the Cyclops had hauled down from nearby mountains. So of these bluestones were as tall as three blades and weighed over ten tons.
The courtyard walls stood 5 blades tall, and it was said that the entire workforce of Whispering Bats, Cyclops, and Bloodline Descendants had labored for half a month to complete them.
The workload was in no way smaller than that of constructing the auxiliary towers themselves.
The ground was paved with bluestone. Thanks to magic, processing the stone was not difficult, and the surface was level and even.
To enter the Mage Tower, one had to pass through the black auxiliary tower at the front. The towering walls enclosed the entire complex, except for a single recessed path connecting to the black tower.
The black auxiliary tower’s entrance was 9 blades wide and 6 blades tall, large enough even for a Cyclops to enter with ease.
Approaching the black tower from afar, one could no longer see the main tower behind it. Yet the sheer majesty of the black tower alone was enough to convey the grandeur of the entire Dawn Mage Tower complex.
Li De stepped onto the platform that had already been prepared. Every ti there was an important event, the residents eagerly anticipated hearing him speak.
Today, all the residents had gathered. They curiously examined the Mage Tower, and the mont they saw Li De take the stage, they erupted into enthusiastic cheers.
“My people, I am your city lord, Kachar.”
Every opening line from Li De always stirred excitent among the crowd.
“From the very first day you arrived in Dawn City, I promised you.

The crowd below could no longer contain their excitent. They burst into thunderous applause and cheers.

Everyone's eyes were filled with deep respect, especially the believers of the Dawn Order, whose eyes shone with fanatic devotion.

“The Dawn Mage Tower will be open for public tours for three days. After those three days, we will officially begin accepting mage apprentices.

With a sweeping gesture, Li De ushered in a new chapter for Dawn City.
