Oli fell into an indescribable sensation.
The air around him seed as heavy as rcury, and he struggled in endless chaos.
Suddenly, a sharp pain surged through his body. Oli felt an unfamiliar force devouring his blood, muscles, bones—everything within him.
But even such excruciating pain couldn’t fully wake him; he could only endure it alone in the haze.
However, what kept him hopeful was that after this force consud his body, he didn’t feel weakened. Instead, his strength grew stronger.
Yet the terrifying agony almost made him lose himself in the haze.
His awareness grew increasingly blurred, and his willpower gradually faded.
Just as he was about to fall into eternal slumber, Li De’s face suddenly appeared in his mind.
Oli, like soone finding light in the darkness, began reciting praises in his mind.
“rciful Lord Kachar, I am your loyal believer. Your greatness and glory guide my life.”
In his daze, Oli instinctively recited prayers he had once heard, addressing them to the divine.
After countless prayers, Oli suddenly felt imnse joy.
“My child, I am Kachar. I have been watching over you. You are not alone on this journey.”
Upon hearing these words resound in his soul, he montarily felt the warmth of Li De’s kind and gentle gaze upon him.
The confusion in his heart was swept away in an instant, replaced by an indescribable surge of strength.
At this mont, he felt just like during the Hero Selection Tournant—though his body might fail, his spirit remained unbreakable, and his faith carried him to the end.
After reinforcing his will, Oli slowly began to sense his body again. That powerful force was still reconstructing him.
Could this be the power of the Saintlight Vampires?
Oli sensed a familiar aura from that force, and his heart relaxed. He stopped resisting, allowing the force to transform him.
Without resistance, the transformation accelerated several tis faster.
During the continuous process of transformation, Oli joyfully discovered that he could gradually regain control of his previously paralyzed body.
Everything was returning.
Ti passed without asure. Oli suddenly felt sothing being poured into his mouth. The previously stabilized transformation beca active again after this liquid entered.
And the strength within his body grew even stronger.
Ti ticked by second by second.
With the support of his faith, Oli’s previous confusion vanished. He embraced the changes in his body—he was growing stronger.
Perhaps it was an instant, perhaps a hundred years.
Oli had lost count of how much ti had passed. Finally, after the force had remodeled every part of his body, he opened his eyes.
The first thing he saw was the crescent moon hanging high in the sky.
Cold moonlight spilled down like liquid silver. Previously indifferent to such sensations, Oli now inexplicably felt comfort, as if returning to his mother’s embrace.
It ward him, filling him with strength.
He slightly turned his head. Around him were young girls holding flowers, their smiling faces offering him the most heartwarming sight upon waking.
Oli pressed his hands against the edge of the bed and gently pushed himself up.
By now, the crowd in the square had noticed his awakening. Countless curious gazes landed on him.
Oli’s senses seed heightened a thousandfold. He could feel that the eyes of the crowd held not only respect but also fear toward him.
This feeling—it wasn’t bad at all.
The flower-laden bed beneath him emitted waves of fragrance. In the distance, the bonfire continued to burn fiercely, its heat reaching him even through the crowd.
I’ve been reborn.
Joy filled Oli’s chest as he stood up. Whoosh~
A massive pair of bat wings unfurled behind him.
Under the cold moonlight, the vampire’s silhouette erged like a demon rising from hell, exuding a shocking, mysterious, and fearso aura.
Wow~
The surrounding crowd gasped—not out of fear but with excitent, eagerly discussing among themselves.
“He did it!! Oli has truly beco a Saintlight Vampire! Goddess above, Oli is the pride of Eric Town!”
“So this is what it looks like to transform into a Saintlight Vampire? Why does he seem so heroic? So handso!”
“Incredible! Such large wings—does this an he can fly like the Saintlight Vampire lords now?”
Hearing the crowd’s chatter, Oli proudly raised his head. Success! He had truly beco a noble Saintlight Vampire!!
Lord Kachar, Oli hasn’t let you down!!
Overflowing with indescribable excitent, Oli spread his massive bat wings and flapped them forcefully.
He could clearly sense that his wings were as easily controllable as his arms.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh~
A gust of wind rose, and the powerful lift sent Oli’s figure soaring into the sky amid the crowd’s cheers.
Flight—sothing everyone dread of—earned Oli unanimous envy with this act.
Oli’s inner excitent was beyond words. As he ascended, the crowd below shrank in his view.
Looking around, Dawn City under the cold moonlight resembled rooftops covered in silver coins, full of charm. The world seed within his grasp, and his heart swelled with ambition.
This is what it ans to be a vampire—it’s incredible!
After circling the skies a few tis, Oli reluctantly descended back to the ground.
“It’s unbelievable—so cool!”
“Flying, I’m so envious!”
“Why does Oli seem more handso after becoming a vampire? And his deanor has improved too!”
The crowd’s discussions and envious voices brimd with awe and excitent. Witnessing the birth of a vampire for the first ti was incredibly morable—a story they’d boast about forever.
Oli gradually cald down. Only then did he realize that his transformation extended beyond his body—everything about him had changed.
First, his vision. Previously blurry in the dark, it was now crystal clear.
He could even see, from three hundred paces away, how many legs the spider weaving its web on a rooftop had.
An unbelievable change.
Second, his body had grown far stronger. His heart beat slowly yet powerfully, like a water pump.
The vampire’s heart still beat, but unlike before, it was no longer a fatal weakness. With enough blood, even a shattered heart could regenerate.
Oli felt himself nearly intoxicated by this newfound powerful body. At this mont, he could even sense mana drifting in the air.
Spellcasting ability—he now possessed the innate talent of a spellcaster. Praise the Goddess of Magic!!
Everything had changed.
Overwheld with excitent, he couldn’t help but grin.
Praise the Saintlight Vampires!! Praise Lord Kachar!!
Suddenly, a familiar, smiling face in the crowd caught Oli’s attention, stirring his excitent.
Pushing through the crowd, he shouted, “Brother Rekel!”
Hearing this familiar voice, Rekel’s heart instantly eased. Oli’s tone carried the sa emotion as always.
“Well done, Oli.”
Rekel stepped forward and embraced Oli, his smile radiant.
Though Rekel was a Level 7 warrior, he hadn’t endured to the end. After entering the top 300, he had given up.
Now, seeing Oli’s unchanged expression after becoming a vampire, he felt imnse joy.
Because Oli hadn’t beco a bloodthirsty, murderous creature of darkness, as legends suggested.
“Oli, you’re amazing!” Patril, seeing Oli in the crowd, also pushed through. Wearing thick winter clothes, he laughed heartily and slapped Oli’s shoulder hard.
“What’s it like to beco a Saintlight Vampire? Do you still recognize us?”
Oli gave a silly grin and instinctively scratched his head.
“Uncle Patril, don’t tease . I’m still Oli, even though I’ve beco a Saintlight Vampire. Little Patril is still waiting for to buy him more honey bread after becoming one.”
Hahaha, Rekel and Patril exchanged glances and burst into laughter. Only now did they finally feel at ease.
Oli was still Oli. Becoming a Saintlight Vampire hadn’t changed him.
Oli, looking at their joyful faces, didn’t understand why they were laughing. After a brief pause, he joined in their laughter.
Most of the surrounding crowd were residents of Eric Town. Seeing this scene, they erupted in friendly chuckles. For a mont, the air was filled with mirth.
Later, the bat wings on Oli’s back beca objects of fascination, with everyone wanting to touch them.
While they hesitated to approach other Saintlight Vampire lords, many here had watched Oli grow up since childhood. Naturally, they didn’t feel overwhelming reverence. After a brief period of familiarity, Oli found himself surrounded by the crowd.
Li De silently observed this scene from afar, a smile playing on his lips.
This was the benefit of granting the Saintlight Vampire identity only after residents had paid imnse effort.
Everyone would feel admiration and envy for these individuals, no one would think they had beco so evil vampire.
All his efforts had been for this very mont.
And in the future, becoming a Saintlight Vampire would inevitably beco the ultimate aspiration for all residents of Dawn City. Of this, he was absolutely confident.
