[You can co in now.]

Having finished settling the commotion inside, Stella greeted with a smile as she stepped back outside.

I was in the middle of moving the items we had purchased to the storage shed, so I simply replied indifferently that I understood.

[What about Hannibal?]

“I’ve tied him up near the garden for now.”

[I’ll take care of the rest. You should go inside and relax.]

“Hm?”

Telling to go inside unexpectedly, Stella left without waiting for a response. I felt a little uneasy about leaving the shed unorganized, but just then, Findenai arrived.

“I’ll finish organizing the shed. You should go talk to your fiancée.”

“…What did you say?”

Unsure if I had heard her right, I asked again, and Findenai scowled at and gestured with her chin.

“I ca all this way to find you, didn’t I? What? Did you think I was going to use force to restrain you or sothing?”

“…”

Without saying anything, I stared at Findenai in silence. And considering her recent actions, it was reasonable if I thought that way.

Seemingly not pleased with my response, Findenai brushed her bangs aside and let out a deep sigh.

“Is that your kind of thing? Do you want to be locked in the shed for once?”

“Why are you so angry?”

I asked her with concern, but she furrowed her brow and replied.

“You wouldn’t know how shitty I feel when the guy who woke up next to this morning is about to go hug another woman.”

“…”

“Ah, damn. This is why they say the one who falls in love will be the one who loses.”

She muttered as she started organizing the shed in my stead. A bittersweet feeling hit as I watched her, and my chest tightened.

It was clear to that I was doing sothing wrong.

Obviously, Findenai was pretending that everything was fine, but she often showed this kind of intense jealousy.

It hadn’t fully manifested in her actions yet, but her tone always had sharp remarks.

“This is difficult.”

However, if I just chose one person, the others might feel like they were going to be abandoned, and they would refuse.

However, mixing logic with emotion in our current relationship felt wrong.

As soon as I entered the room, I found Erica standing there, waiting nervously.

The door to Clair’s General Store connected Erica’s room at the academy to this place, so she could drop by anyti.

She looked just like the usual Erica.

However, I wondered if she was still wearing the revealing lingerie Findenai and the Dark Spiritualist had ntioned earlier.

I was briefly curious about what she had on underneath her thick shirt and pants.

I had no idea how they had ended up knowing such things about each other.

“I ca by during lunchti, but since you went to the village, I decided to co back now.”

It was 5 PM now, almost ti to start preparing for dinner.

“Good timing. Findenai ate breakfast all alone and was feeling a little lonely.”

There was only one chair, but I could always bring the one from Erica’s room.

“Yeah, so I decided to co have dinner with you and I also wanted to see your face.”

“…”

Her oddly husky voice wasn’t just sounding sentintal because of the sunset, right?

Just like with Findenai earlier, Erica was also expressing her will in her own way.

She felt sad because I was spending ti with soone else, but at the sa ti, she didn’t try to stop .

Her voice, filled with sadness, carried the sa sense of frustration Findenai had displayed earlier.

It was just that each person expressed it in their own way.

“Erica…”

As I carefully approached her, Erica suddenly embraced , unable to hold back any longer.

She wrapped her arms around my waist and buried her face against my chest, her voice trembling ever so slightly as she muttered.

“It’s fine. I’m content with this much.”

“…”

“As long as you’re here. As long as you’re in front of now. That’s enough.”

There was a brief mont of silence.

Erica quickly let go of my waist, turning to flee toward the general store’s door.

“I’ll be back in a mont.”

I had sothing I wanted to say, but when the ti ca, I couldn’t find the words. Erica slipped inside the general store.

I stared at the closed door for a while, but it didn’t open again.

“…”

I had nothing left to say.

Even if I said I would make a choice, they would pray I didn’t, because it would only cause them hurt.

However, if I just left things as they were, eventually, everyone’s hearts would gradually be consud by jealousy.

Additionally, I wasn’t particularly happy about this situation either.

If only I could be the kind of greedy person who would give in to my instincts and embrace everyone, then maybe my heart would feel a little more at ease.

However, I could never beco that sort of person.

“I never said anything about letting you hug him.”

Erica, Findenai, and Stella were gathered at the dinner table on Bolt Hill, chatting.

Despite the earlier conflict regarding Kim Shinwoo, it looked like Erica and Findenai weren’t on bad terms at all.

With a fork in her mouth, Erica blushed and stamred.

“I-I was a little jealous because you bragged about waking up next to each other this morning…”

“Heh. What an adorable jealousy. It makes want to rip you up. But since you have brought this sausage, I’ll let it slide.”

With the veggie-heavy spread prepared by Stella, complented by the sausages Erica had brought, Findenai was having a quite satisfying al.

Stella, who was standing nearby listening to the conversation, sighed.

[But both of you did well. We need to apply more pressure on him.]

“…”

“…”

Findenai and Erica both stared at Stella. Many emotions were evident, but since the plan had already begun, they had to see it through.

“Honestly, I don’t really feel comfortable about this.”

Erica muttered, holding her mug with a bitter expression, while Findenai chewed on the sausage irritably.

“You’re right. It sucks knowing that he’s under stress because of .”

[I know.]

Stella’s expression turned dark for a mont. However, she couldn’t afford to abandon the plan now.

[But we can’t continue like this forever, can we?]

It was Stella who first recognized Kim Shinwoo, not Deus, and had even positioned herself as his understanding ally.

She knew him all too well.

And based on his personality, he might be able to endure this life for a while, but eventually, he’d break down and be forced to make a choice.

After all, he was a man who even hated the very idea of loving multiple won.

So, it was inevitable.

[And once he makes a decision, it will be too late. After all the struggles, his answer will certainly be the right one, and he won’t change it. No matter what]

He held others to high standards, but in truth, he held himself to even higher ones.

Once Kim Shinwoo made a decision, no one could change it. That was the kind of man he was.

[We need to keep pushing him. We can’t allow him to choose anyone. We need to make him see how we change, how much we suffer when he’s gone.]

“Sigh.”

“Damn it.”

They understood what she was saying. But just because they could understand it didn’t an it sat right with them.

Stella also knew full well that what she was doing was wrong. She clearly understood that they were holding themselves hostage by constantly pressuring Kim Shinwoo. However…

Clench.

The woman who was once the Saintess was now trudging through the mud, forsaking her na and divinity.

[I can never give him up.]

Stella’s firm declaration made both Findenai and Erica step back.

According to her, once Kim Shinwoo made his choice, tis like this would no longer be possible.

And so, she would make him delay, postpone, and struggle with his choice.

[Then, at so point… he’ll eventually reach the point where he can no longer make a choice.]

Then, when that ti finally ca…

Stella took a deep breath, genuinely anticipating that day.

However, the Demon Lord inside Stella was sowhat skeptical.

Why?

Because she felt like Stella would get caught along the way and face severe reprimand.

However, Vellica didn’t dare to voice her thoughts as Stella had a tendency to be blinded by certain things.

During her lifeti, she was blinded by God.

As she was dying, she beca blinded by the demon.

Then after death, she was blinded by love.

And so, to truly understand, she needed to experience the pain.

“By the way…”

Findenai, with her chin propped up, looked around and asked,

“Where’s that titty?”

* * *

Unable to bear to look at Findenai and Erica at the sa ti while they were having dinner, I found myself wandering into a nearby forest for a walk.

Did I co too deep?

In the forest, where only the sounds of insects could be heard. One of the downsides of possessing an artificial body was that I couldn’t enjoy the fresh air, even in places like this.

And every ti this happened, I felt like I was rely part of the background, which made feel uncomfortable.

“Huh.”

As a result, my mind beca even more tangled and chaotic along with my self-reproach.

At that mont.

[What’s wrong?]

I suddenly heard a voice from between the trees, violet eyes faintly glowing in the darkness.

“Dark Spiritualist?”

I wondered why she had appeared here without warning, but the Dark Spiritualist walked toward , her usual gentle deanor replaced by a swaying gait.

It reminded of her old attitude—how she was when I first t her.

I knew she behaved like her from the past when I wasn’t around, but it was the first ti she did so in front of .

[You look troubled.]

“…”

It was frustrating to admit that I couldn’t deny it easily.

The Dark Spiritualist, who gently approached , ca even closer than usual to whisper.

[Is it because of the other girls?]

“You have a surprisingly good sense.”

I frowned and warned her to stop, but she was already close enough for her body to almost press against mine.

Our noses were nearly touching, her voluptuous chest pressed against my own, invading my space.

She was deliberately using magic to make it so I could feel her body.

The Dark Spiritualist was clearly intending to make things more intimate.

[And it is because of your own shortcomings, isn’t it? You can’t choose or not choose soone, and what you can give them is limited.]

“…”

Her words, sharp and piercing, still had a soft tone, and wrapped around like a comforting embrace.

[You can’t experience the physical pleasures like everyone else does, nor can you have descendants to build a family. You’ll need to stay alive, but they will eventually grow old, close their eyes, and find rest.]

The Dark Spiritualist slowly extended her arms, wrapping them around my neck. She gazed up at , clinging to .

[But there are people who don’t need to worry about such things.]

“The answer is obvious.”

I responded coldly, trying to regain my composure, but the Dark Spiritualist smiled softly and nodded.

[I’m in my spirit form and your observer, so I must remain with you always. And even though I can’t bear children…]

The Dark Spiritualist’s hand gently brushed my cheek. Her touch was cold, but strangely, I didn’t feel repulsed.

[We still can share pleasure.]

I already knew that.

Thanks to Velica, I had seen Stella’s reaction and also heard from the so-called God of Pleasure and Entertainnt, Velas, who told about his relationships with multiple won in his ntal form.

I had just chosen to ignore it.

The Dark Spiritualist’s hand moved lower, grabbing my wrist and quickly placing it on her backside.

My grip on her soft buttocks unintentionally tightened.

[Hng.]

The Dark Spiritualist gave an alluring smile, a faint moan escaping her lips.

“Dark Spiritualist.”

I tried to push her away, but she kept pressing her body against mine and whispered.

[Legeton, Black Magic, etc. I’ve taught you many things.]

“What does that…”

[I thought I taught you everything, but it turns out there’s one more important thing I have left to teach you.]

As she said that, the Dark Spiritualist made the semi-transparent black veil covering her mouth disappear and kissed .
