Lady Saisho is the oldest tree in the world. She didn’t originally have a consciousness, but when she started to understand the world around her, she began to understand her role.

Since before she could even rember, her body produced spirits. These served as natural cleansers to the magic in the air. The spirits were so nurous, but the original spirits served to sweep away the miasma. Mana and miasma were two sides of the sa coin.

They were fundantal forces that governed the world of magic, and they weren’t the only ones. There was sothing even more vast called divinity. However, the stronger the forces of magic, the harder they beco to understand. If one performs experints, one can expect that a blow back would be worse with a stronger force.

Not only that, how does one channel divinity without being part of the divine? The more that Saisho began to understand and ask questions, the more her world grew. She witnessed the birth of the first humanoids.

The elves were spawned directly from the spirits. Several of the spirits that gained consciousness beca elves. What fascinated Lady Saisho was how the elves ca to worship her. She wondered why that was, and why did they take that specific form when they gained sentience?

She had no idea why the first intelligent life forms to surround her were elves, yet she also had no form she could commune with them. Of the first elf worshipers, one of them lived much longer than the elves surrounding him. Naturally, this elf was Sven.

Sven took charge of the elves and beca the first recognized Elder. Even as ages passed by him, he never looked a day older. The average elf lifespan was between 500-1000 years, yet he outlived that by tens of thousands.

Normally, they would live in harmony in the forest. The outside world was of little consequence to them. However, a thousand years ago calamity struck the entire continent. Gods descended to spread chaos.

For Saisho, these gods were an enigma themselves. They had sprouted at so point in her life, but she couldn’t understand them. After all, weren’t they all the descendants of spirits? Didn’t that make them descendants of her in a way?

Yet, the descendants claid domains. They grew into seeds of divinity. Gods of light, darkness, chaos, plague, despair, and so much more. They began to govern mortals and rule over them. Furthermore, so gods beca even higher in position than the gods below them.

At so point in their lives, gods ascended to their own domains. A God of n claid to be the creator of all life, saying that humans were the first. Eventually, the seeds started fighting each other.

The calamity of a thousand years ago was no different in the elven forest. However, it was during these tis that Saisho began to understand more. She began to send out projections of herself to protect the forest. She grew her own divinity.

It was then that she realized divinity was the most fundantal force. Mortals had never acquired it. The force was given to them. The laws of the world had given it to the people who transcended themselves.

Saisho ended up serving as a diator for the Elder gods after the crisis. Amazingly all of the factions agreed to a temporary truce. It was a policy of less involvent. Distance themselves from the mortals and watch the world. Only Saisho was permitted to stay as the diator.

In the ti sense, there had never been a mortal rise to godhood after that. It was as if divinity had been closed off. However, Saisho never shook the thought that there was a reason for the limited divinity. Just as there was a reason for the forces governing the demon world or the elental world.

She thought back to that god who had proclaid himself as the creator of mortals. What if there was sothing like a creator of the world?

Hikari cut off Sven. "No, I am not the creator of this world. Why would you have that idea in the first place?"

"I am not the one who had the idea, it was Saisho. She felt your presence when you arrived here."

"That doesn’t an I created this place. What evidence do you have that I am this world’s creator?"

"It’s exactly because of my own appearance. The first appearance of elves must have been a mimicry of our creator. Otherwise, why would we take this appearance? Lady Saisho also takes a similar appearance when she is a projection."

"I can’t agree with this logic at all. Also, it’s impossible to trust soone recounting a past that I have no awareness of. Wouldn’t I know if I created a whole world?"

At that mont, a translucent girl appeared at the center of the table. She had leafy skin and pointed ears. Though, if Hikari had to say she looked more like a dryad than an elf.

The girl was even slightly shorter than Hikari herself. However, Saisho spoke with composure. "I can feel an even deeper connection with you now that you are in front of . I feel as though my divinity resonates with you."

Hikari sighed and pressed a finger into her temple. "Let get this straight. I am this world’s creator. You all spawned from sohow, and I ended up here against my will? What kind of creator would have this kind of backstory!?"

The small girl giggled. "Is it possible that you did it by accident? Maybe you don’t rember, but I can feel it. I am certain."

Hikari shook her head and thought back to her past life. She was a regular girl. She went to a Japanese school. She played a video ga in her free ti, choosing to play as an elf. In that ga, did she ever create a world? The thought gave her a headache as she scanned her mory.

I couldn’t have just created a world! Was there an item in the ga that created a world for her? If she was truly this world’s creator, then that was the only explanation. In the ga’s lore anything could be possible.

A sudden mory made her chuckle wryly. She had built a world item in the ga. As a player, she purchased a house that only grew over ti. Naturally, she wanted things to decorate that house with. So, Hikari began to collect pieces across the ga to forge a world item. One that would serve as decoration and also serve as a ward to protect the property.

That’s impossible right! In science class, Hikari had never heard of a globe becoming a real world. That didn’t even happen in the isekais she read either. Nobody built a globe to beco the god of a new world!

However, when she thought about it, that world did appear suspiciously like this one. It had a desert on the east of a large continent. There was a large forest and a central mountain. Moreover, the elf couldn’t rember the last thing she did in that ga. She can only rember the last raid she did.

"Ah, I give up," Hikari said as she slumped in her seat. "I can’t accept this explanation."

If what they were saying was true, that would make her like the god above gods, wouldn’t it? Also, it reminded the elf of those Russian nesting dolls. She was currently in another world, which spawned from a video ga, which spawned from Earth. Her head spun from thinking about it, so as her brain lted, she decided it was better to not think about it at all.

Thankfully, the witch ca in as Hikari’s savior. She raised her hand. "I for one don’t believe it either. If she was the creator, then how co we never heard of her until now? Nobody has spoken of Hikari except for my master."

Hikari latched onto these saving words. "You’re right! By the way, where is your master now?"

"She is not permitted to co to this here as one of the gods. Also, this is another reason you can’t be the creator. The tiline makes no sense. My master is one of the newer gods, yet you’re supposed to be the sa age as her, are you not?"

Hikari nodded to the explanation. "Exactly! Therefore, I cannot be the mother of any of you!"

Saisho’s mouth opened like a fish. "How can this be!? Mother is the sa age as little Ayase?"

"Hey! That makes you older than as well, and it ans you’re more qualified to be my mother, doesn’t it?" Hikari asked, looking to Kurayami for help.

However, the dragon’s eyes spun as if she was dizzy. "Master, I can’t understand any of this. It’s too confusing."

The two twins drooled on the other side of the table.

"Confused."

"Confused!"

The fairy that had been fluttering a few minutes ago just laid down on the table. "I don’t understand this either."

Saisho opened her mouth and raised her finger. It was as if she had a light bulb mont. "You can easily confirm the truth for yourself! Don’t you have a domain?"
