Hikari traversed through the 40s with ease. They reached floor 50 quickly. The boss in this floor sat at a throne holding a bone great sword. The boss itself was an armored undead, standing at least 15 feet tall. Its eyes glowed with a vivid red. Thin black armor covered the slim giant.

It stood up slowly with grace, stabbing the sword into the floor. It pulled itself up by the hilt. The red, tattered cape behind it rustled with the movent. The only features visible on the face were the glowing orbs through a small slit in its helt.

[Naless Guardian of the Inner Sanctum]

Faith: -1,000 1,000

Health: 5,000 1,000

Mana: 4,000 1,000

Stamina: Null

An all-rounder type? Hikari put a hand on her chin. It was obvious this undead would not pose a threat, but the stat gains were too much. If she took into account the queen who out leveled him by 15, the stats were almost nonsense. Is the dungeon doing this?

Hikari pointed at the boss with her staff. "Are you the type that can understand language?"

The undead paused in its upright position. Instead of giving a direct answer to her question, it nodded along. No sound ca from the undead other than the armor adorning it. The giant undead turned the sword towards the invaders. The silent words served as an invitation for a duel. It was the move of a desperate knight.

Hikari could only sigh and shake her head. "Have you all lost your will? Or why do you pledge yourself to a dungeon?"

If it was ga standards, she’d write it off as sothing fundantal. The lore of the ga world was not reality. Yes, this world was sothing real and tangible. Are all of these simply pawns for the dungeon to use?

There was a feeling of wrongness brewing inside of the elf. For the first ti, she used a higher tier spell. "[Soul Search]."

She imdiately understood the feeling. As her eyes glowed, she gazed at the soul of the undead. Inside of the cavity, there was a glowing white light—the soul of a once living being. However, this one had a ring of black chains binding it. They clutched the soul tightly, enslaving its very essence. A tether connected it to the dungeon itself.

An instinct presided over the elf’s mind. She knew it wasn’t supposed to be like this. Everything in the dungeon before didn’t have a soul she could feel. They had cores, but the soul of the creatures were either never there in the first place, or they departed the world. Unless...All of the souls are kept in the dungeon sowhere?

There was no hope in the eyes of this lost undead. Realizing that Hikari would not leave, the undead took it as a sign to start.

It charged forward while holding the sword to one side. The sound of its heavy armor-adorned feet echoed in the boss room.

"Forgive ," Hikari said, pointing her staff towards the creature. In a mont before she casted her spell, she could feel the resignation of the giant. "Light of Hope…"

"Master! If you cast that…"

"...Vanquish all evil: [Divine Cleansing]."

A huge beam of white light—intermixed with purple—spread out with Hikari as the center. It pierced upwards into the heavens, shooting through the dungeon space. The last thing the giant undead felt was a sense of bliss as the light cleansed its soul.

The light pierced floor 51, 52, 53...going all the way down to the final floor: Floor 100.

Adventurers in the dungeon felt their wounds healing. The people from the dungeon town not so far away watched the beam in reverence.

In the pits of the dungeon—right below the final floor—a core cracked. The death sounds of an ancient entity resounded.

Hikari opened her eyes to a bizarre sight. Hundreds of adventurers stood on top of a hill, looking towards the only person with pure white wings in the area. As if on cue, the religious people of Amalin knelt.

"Goddess Alia!"

Oh shit! Hikari slowly turned towards her companion.

Kurayami turned her head, trying not to laugh. "I tried to tell you, Master…"

Hikari frowned at the dragon. "You have to help ! Can’t you do sothing?"

The dragon could no longer contain herself. She began laughing like the hyenas on the lower floors.

Even the elf’s usual calm deanor had vanished. She rushed over to the dragon, shaking her shoulders. "Can’t you do sothing with your dark magic!?"

Kurayami grinned at her desperate master. "Hmm, I don’t know...My Goddess."

"Don’t play gas!"

The dragon finally reeled herself in. "I can do sothing, but…"

"But?"

"The master has to promise a kiss." Kurayami’s cheeks beca rosy, and she pointed at her mouth. "On the lips this ti."

Hikari felt her own face heating, but in the end, she could only relent. "Fine...Just fix these people."

In the surroundings, all of the adventurers were knelt in prayer. The more devout priests and priestesses had tears streaming from their eyes. It was like they were waiting for Hikari to deliver so divine oracle.

Kurayami snapped her finger, delivering dark magic into the surroundings. "[Confusing Suggestion]." In the next second she transford into a dragon and jumped into the sky. "Master, quick!"

Hikari flapped her wings, arriving on top of her dragon in an instant. She stared down at the glazed eyes of the people. "What did you do to them?"

"I just placed a suggestion in their minds, but it’s not all-powerful. If they see you again, the effect could be weakened. Actually, there is one other problem, Master."

"What is it?"

"All of these people will only forget what just happened, but it’s a fact that the dungeon disappeared. In other words…"

"In other words?"

"In other words, they will realize this could only be the work of a powerful being."

Hikari clutched her head in her hands. She had to hold back the tears threatening to co, but she retained her dignity. "I just wanted to test a strong spell…"

"Don’t worry Master, It’s unlikely that anyone will find out you were the origin. Maybe they will all hold the belief that it was their goddess, Alia?"

"I really hope so. Co, let’s go back to the capital. We have a demon to capture."

///

In a town that Hikari was familiar with, there exists a church branch with a fanatic follower of Alia.

Kyra was working in the town and healing adventurers that ca by. For so reason, ever since she saw that angel she felt like she broke through a critical barrier to understand healing.

It was further proof she needed to convince herself that the person in question was truly an angel of her goddess, Alia. Just a few days ago, she managed to heal a severed limb.

She walked on the road towards the guild. Today she’d et up with her group of adventurers for a quest.

Kyra wasn’t the only one who managed to get stronger. Thanks to the item given by that angel, her group leader Sable had managed to beco a powerhouse in this small town.

The priestess humd a tune, but as she reached for the door, a rumbling sound startled her. She whipped her head around to the distance, and her jaw dropped.

A towering white light shone vividly. It had small streaks of purple intertwined. "The light of Alia?"

She instantly dropped to her knees in prayer. Kyra burned the image into her mind. Her heart pounded rapidly, and she felt her body heating up. She closed her eyes and sent a small voice to the goddess. "Alia, please grant your blessing!"

The door next to her was pushed open. "Kyra? Did you feel that rumbling!? What are you doing!?"

Kyra—the self-proclaid most devoted of Alia—gripped Levi’s shoulders like a vice. She stared at the poor archer with a crazed look. "I saw it! I saw it!"

"Calm down! And let go of ! What did you see!?"

"I saw the light of Alia! It pierced the heavens and rocked the earth! No doubt about it...That was our goddess speaking to us!"

"Hey! You’re scaring ! Can you please calm down?"

Kyra finally regained herself and loosened her grip. She pointed off in the distance, east of the capital. "It was there! A pure holy light broke into the sky and rumbled the earth! Do you know what this ans!?"

Levi shook her head and looked Kyra in worry. "I don’t know what it ans, but why are you so adamant?"

Kyra sighed as her other companions walked over.

Her party’s leader looked over the two of them. "What happened?"

The beating of Kyra’s heart slowed enough for her to speak calmly. "I saw the divine judgnt of Alia...Sable, get us a quest to the capital right away."
