Like all elves summoned through the Wisdom Tree, their loyalty to Renjiro was absolute, ingrained from the mont of their summon.

Renjiro acknowledged them with a warm smile. "Your presence brings even greater security to my lands. Welco."

Lovely smiles blossod on their faces as they replied in unison, their voices like wind chis, "It is our sacred duty, Your Majesty, to protect you and safeguard all elves!"

At that mont, Elaria rushed into the summoning sanctuary, her expression urgent.

"What is it, Elaria?" Renjiro asked, turning to her.

Elaria’s gaze flickered towards the new arrivals, widening slightly in surprise, before she focused back on Renjiro. "Your Majesty, a ssage from the Huntresses! Their scout owls have detected a band of human rcenaries trying to sneak towards our territory."

"rcenary group?" Renjiro frowned.

"That’s what the signs point to, yes. The owls counted roughly fifty individuals."

"Fifty? They have so nerve, actually daring to approach us!" Renjiro scoffed lightly. "Elaria, please alert the Giant Golems. Then, join . It’s ti we dealt with these intruders." He glanced back at the Spirits surrounding him.

"You will co as well. I’m eager to see your abilities in action!"

"As you command, Your Majesty!" The Spirits nodded eagerly, their hands tightening on their staffs.

Elaria looked at them, her curiosity piqued. "Your Majesty... are they truly elves? I’ve never encountered their kind before!"

Renjiro nodded confirmation. "They are the Spirits of the Groves. Think of them as a special branch of our elven family – Spirit Elves, perhaps!"

"Spitit Elves?" Elaria repeated, looking thoughtful. She’d studied the ancient texts in the royal archives extensively but had no mory of such a lineage among the known elven races.

Renjiro offered a simple explanation, "Their origins lie within the realm of the Gods."

Understanding dawned in Elaria’s eyes, and she respectfully ceased her questioning. Instead, she looked at the Spirits with open admiration. "Your Majesty, they share our pointed ears, yet they possess wings! They are truly exquisite!"

The Spirits bead at her kind words. One stepped forward slightly, bowing gracefully. "Mrs. Elaria, while we appreciate the complint, surely in His Majesty’s eyes, you remain the most radiant beauty among all elves!"

Renjiro chuckled heartily. "She certainly is!"

A faint blush touched Elaria’s cheeks, and she playfully linked her arm with Renjiro’s. Smiling at the Spirits, she asked, "You already know my na?"

The Spirit who had spoken nodded serenely. "Mrs. Elaria, we are aware of every elf under His Majesty’s protection, right down to the Giant Golems who wear the stone like armor!"

Renjiro silently credited the system for this instant knowledge, though Elaria likely attributed it to so divine insight connected to the Elf Goddess.

He gently addressed Elaria, "Return to the palace for now and await my return. I need to deal with the rcenaries quickly."

Elaria imdiately looked concerned. "Your Majesty, please allow to accompany you! Should danger arise, I can invoke the Goddess’s shield to ensure your safety."

Renjiro gently patted her hand. "Thank you, Elaria, but no. Rember, I carry my artifact. A re band of rcenaries poses no real threat to ."

Elaria hesitated, then nodded reluctantly. She couldn’t deny the incredible power of Renjiro’s artifact – capable of neutralizing even a tenth-Circle foe instantly. Against such magic, even a fad Dragon Slayer rcenary would be helpless if Renjiro chose to use it.

"Very well, Your Majesty. I shall inform the Giant Golems at once!"

"Excellent," Renjiro confird.

With Elaria gone, Renjiro turned and led his new contingent of beautiful, winged Spirits out.

Shortly after erging into the territory proper, they were t by the lumbering forms of the Giant Golems, accompanied by a patrol of sleek Elf Huntresses astride their black panthers.

"Your Majesty!" ca the unified greeting.

"Huntresses, lead on!" Renjiro ordered.

Without delay, the Huntresses guided their swift mounts to the front, setting the course. Their unique connection to the magic owls made them the only ones who knew the rcenaries’ precise location.

As the procession moved, the Giant Golems couldn’t help but steal glances at the fluttering group of Spirits accompanying their King.

Suddenly, one petite Spirit pointed her staff directly at a Golem whose gaze lingered a mont too long. "You! Great big walking rock! Keep those wandering eyes forward, unless you fancy experiencing the sting of our venom firsthand!"

"Easy there, little Spirit, you’ve got it wrong!" the targeted Giant Golem rumbled, his voice like shifting stones. He awkwardly rubbed his enormous stone head with an equally enormous hand.

Beside the Golems’ twenty-ter-plus fras, the Spirits, barely reaching a ter and a half, looked incredibly small and fragile. But the Golems harbored a healthy respect for them; they knew these tiny beings packed a deadly punch far exceeding their size.

The Golem tried to explain, "I was rely thinking... now that His Majesty has brought you forth, it likely ans more Golems like us will soon join the territory as well."

"Hmph! I find you brutes rather tireso!" the Spirit declared haughtily, tilting her chin up. "Honestly, compared to you lumbering stones who just bellow on the battlefield, we Spirits find the elegant Spirit Dragons far more appealing companions!"

The Giant Golem grumbled softly, just loud enough to be heard, "Flashy lizards... always showing off, breathing fire. They look nice, I suppose, but they’re not half as useful in a real scrap!"

"Hmph!" The Spirit sniffed indignantly, turning away.

With a final, disdainful glance, the Spirit of the Grove turned her back on the Golem, dismissing him entirely.

The Giant Golem, however, seed genuinely undeterred, his rocky voice rumbling with surprising kindness. "Hey, little one, if your wings ever get tired, you can always rest on my shoulder. No enemy is a match for a Giant Golem—not even dragons or those terrifying behemoths. As long as I’m here, nothing will ever harm you."

"Keep your safety to yourself, you hideous mountain of rock! Disgusting!" the Spirit snapped back. A flick of her shimring wings sent her darting forward into the shadowed jungle, disappearing amongst the leaves in an instant.
