179 There Is Sothing

The administrative plan of Xiling City was five districts and six cities.

Pear Tree Village was in the northwest of Xiling City and was more than 150 kiloters away from the city. It belonged to Qinghe County. Although it was still the territory of Xiling City, it was the territory of the neighboring city a few dozens of kiloters to the southwest.

Pear Tree Village was nad after Pear Blossom Mountain, which was nad after the wild pear trees that covered the mountains and plains.

Although Pear Blossom Mountain was not tall, it had a long stretch of undulating hills. The scenery was very good, especially in March and April. The pear blossoms on the mountain were blooming, and the scenery was as beautiful as a painting.

When Le Yao read the description in the book, she was especially envious because she lived in the city and rarely saw such natural scenery.

In the past, Qinghe County was very poor, but in recent years, the governnt had already dug tunnels and repaired roads. There were also so factories that ca to settle down, so the entire county city’s economy developed.

However, because of geography, the developnt of Pear Tree Village was relatively slow.

The cars quickly left the highway and turned onto the town-level highway. There were more intersections and motorcycles and tricycles, so they slowed down.

Le Yao looked out of the car window. “I ca late. The pear blossoms are falling now.”

“But so early-ripening pears can already be eaten.” Liu Sujuan smiled. “I’ll make pear sauce when we get back. You used to love it.”

“I like to eat it now too.” Le Yao smacked her lips. Liu Sujuan’s culinary skills were very good. Ever since she was young, although her family background was not good, she could always make the most coveted food with the most limited ingredients. “I like everything Mom makes.”

Liu Sujuan was overjoyed when she heard that.

“Then you don’t like Dad’s cooking anymore?” Han Baozhu pouted.

“I do. There’s no favorite.” Le Yao smiled ingratiatingly at Han Baozhu. “I love Dad’s braised chicken feet the most. They’re simply delicious.”

“You’re glib-tongued.” Han Baozhu reached out and patted Le Yao’s head dotingly. “I’ll make it for you when we get back.”

Le Yao was about to say sothing when her phone rang. She saw that it was from Nangong Jue. She paused for a mont before answering.

“Lan, you’re not at ho?” Nangong Jue stood on the balcony holding his cell phone with a depressed expression.

“Yes, I brought my parents back to my hotown.” Le Yao didn’t hide anything. “What’s the matter?”

The other party fell silent.

“If there’s nothing else, I’m hanging up.”

“There’s sothing,” Nangong Jue hurriedly said. This woman was so straightforward that he was on tenterhooks. “Um...” What should he say?

“I’ll make up for our agreent when I get back. Don’t worry, I won’t forget it.”

“I didn’t an that.”

“Then...” Le Yao’s heart skipped a beat. “Is there news from the case?”

Nangong Jue was originally conflicted, but in the end... the other party found a topic on her own. The corners of his mouth couldn’t help but curl up slightly. “Yes, the current captain of the Criminal Investigation Departnt is from Beijing. We found so evidence...”

“Nangong Jue, I knew it was her. I saw her in a car by the road that day.” Le Yao’s expression darkened.

Nangong Jue fell silent.

“If it’s confird to be her, will you side with her?” Le Yao’s heart was in her throat. After all, the male and female leads were a natural couple. What if... What could she do then? She felt that she couldn’t win against the other party at all.
