"Ah——————"

Screams echoed through the canyon.

Many males had their arms and legs bitten off by Alien Species Beasts, which beca even more excited at the sll of blood. Like piranhas, they crazily sward over, tearing at the Beastn in the team with their sharp teeth. But the Beastn strictly followed orders; even as they were being bitten to death or maid, not a single one emitted spiritual power.

The young man clenched his fists, his eyes blood-red as he looked at the scene before him, his whole being twisted in a visage of fury.

"Young master, I beg you not to use your spiritual power! Go! Don't let the brothers die in vain!"

The middle-aged man was covering him, and seeing that the young man kept looking back and refusing to leave, he closed his eyes in resolution and fired at an Alien Species Beast.

The sound of the gunshot lingered long in the canyon, the echoes layering upon one another.

When the Alien Species Beasts heard the noise, they all rushed towards the direction of the man. Standing there, the man mouthed silently to the young man, whose eyes were about to burst from their sockets, "Go." Then he was swallowed up amidst the group of Alien Species Beasts, his cheeks bitten off.

"Uncle Siwoen——"

The young man completely lost it, his eyes red as he howled, and the next second, he transford into a ferocious wolf emanating murderous intent.

It opened its bloody maw and fought with a group of Alien Species Beasts, and at the sa ti, the spiritual power it released ford an invisible tidal wave, blasting many of the Alien Species Beasts away.

Carl also felt the impact of his spiritual power, frowning in discomfort. He spat out the grass from his mouth and was sweating on his forehead, yet he still managed to smirk.

"Found you. So, it's you."

Only when this spiritual power spread out did Carl understand why this group of people would rather die than release their spiritual power to fight—because virtually the second after the young man transford into a Beast Form and released his spiritual power, his earpiece imdiately received instructions—

"Heavenly Eye has locked on, target's biotric data acquired. Anubis Connor's spiritual power: Special SSS, Talent: Dark Hunting, Identity: the sole pure-blooded descendant of the rebel leader, Dante Connor."

Carl didn't have ti to ponder what the Talent Dark Hunting actually was, as the already dim night beca even denser at a glance. The surroundings eerily disintegrated like lting tal, flowing like the lava pouring out after a volcanic eruption. Carl's vision plunged into darkness. He stood up quickly, not caring if he was exposed or not, deftly aid his gun around, and those short few seconds felt as unbearably long as hours, finding himself in a silence so profound it bred instant fear in his heart.

Never had he... he had never felt like this before...

Suddenly, the surroundings returned to the night as it was before, still dark, yet in comparison with what it had been, it now seed much brighter. Carl exhaled in relief but froze in the next mont.

Standing alone with his head down not far away was the young man, his mouth and the lower half of his face covered in blood. Around him were torn-apart corpses of Alien Species Beasts, probably more than fifty in total. Beyond them were the Beastn killed by the Alien Species Beasts.

Carl was shocked at the scene before him, and as he ca to his senses, he only saw a shadow flash by, and the young man's fingers transford into sharp claws, attacking him.

Anubis was so fast Carl couldn't see clearly, and he was no match for him. After a brief encounter, he sustained injuries of varying severity on several vital parts of his body.

"Damn it!"

So that was Dark Hunting, such terrifying combat power. Could the Scavengers really kill him?

Anubis had been exposed, and Carl's mission was effectively complete. Thus, when Anubis dealt him what could have been a fatal blow, Carl used his Talent to teleport from one space to another, creating the scene that Sang Yan and his companions witnessed on Langaina Star.

Carl suddenly woke up, gasping for air, but he didn't feel the air entering his lungs. Just as he was about to suffocate, he imdiately used his Talent again. This ti it wasn't a random spatial jump. At the critical mont, the image that suddenly popped into Carl's mind was not the Federation, not his dormitory in Atlantis, but the warm and tiny room in the small two-story building.

In an instant, the man lying on the ground 'swooshed' and disappeared. In the next second, he appeared on the floor of the room. He forcefully tore off the mask on his Protective Clothing and gasped desperately, like a fish slapped onto the shore. If it wasn't for the Protective Clothing he wore, he might have already died on that planet.

Once he had recovered, Carl began to look around and noticed there were so items in his room that didn't belong to him. Carl frowned and looked around, but didn't see his sports bag. He didn't dwell on these oddities and took off the Protective Clothing, casually using scissors to cut open his clothes and treated all the wounds on his body, before pulling open the door to the room.

As he stepped out, he saw five familiar faces in the living room, all casting surprised looks at him.

"Speak of the devil!" Gai ilun, seemingly thinking of sothing, scread and pointed at Carl in a hushed voice, "Ah Yao! Ah Yao! How is he naked coming out of Brother Yan's room? Could it be..." He looked at Carl, then at Sang Yan, and finally hugged himself tightly. "I almost lost my innocence!"

Ah Yao glanced at him and said languidly, "You're overthinking it. Even if we put you on Brother Yan's bed, with your looks, I'm sure you'd still be safe."

Sang Yan ignored the chirping from the two behind him, and together with Leberli, approached Carl, both speaking at once—

"You're going to Breakthrough a space now," Leberli said.

"Could you please do us a favor?" asked Sang Yan.

Carl scratched his ear and said, "I think I'll put on so clothes first."

Ruka threw him a set of military clothes and approached him to explain the overall situation.

When Carl heard the na 'Suisui,' his hands paused as he dressed, but then he carried on buttoning up his shirt casually with a 'tch' and showed an annoyed face, though he did not decline. Even though his energy and Physical strength were severely drained, and using his Talent again in such a state would cause him great harm, he brought it up not at all, simply asking when the person went missing.

After understanding the basic situation, Carl nodded, having a plan in mind.

"I can only stay in that space for 12 seconds. If I'm not out after 12 seconds, you'll have to think of sothing else," he said.

Sang Yan frowned and asked, "What do you an? You're not sure?"

Ah Yao and Gai ilun were also worried about this situation. Ruka knew about this rule and felt heavy-hearted at that mont.

Leberli pressed on, "If you don't co out, what does that an?"

"It ans the person inside doesn't want to co out. If only I return, then the space will collapse, and the treasure you hold so dear will never co out," Carl replied.

Leberli looked at his nonchalant deanor and said seriously, "Bring her out, don't worry about the other. If you succeed, Auslan will be your eternal support. Whatever you want, I can give it to you."

Carl raised an eyebrow and whistled, his smile holding a deeper aning.

"Really, you can give anything?" he asked.
