"What's happening? Why is the power stone weakening?" Loe's voice cut through the tense atmosphere, demanding answers from his team.
A male scientist, his face etched with worry, stepped forward to explain, "Sir, our readings indicate that the stone is losing its energy."
Loe's brow furrowed deeply. "But why now? What's causing this?"
A female scientist, her deanor composed yet urgent, approached with a Newton PDA displaying complex data. "Director Halloway, our analysis suggests that the power stone requires energy specific to its own universe to maintain its potency. Being away from its origin is gradually depleting its power."
Understanding dawned on Loe. "So, the longer it remains here, the weaker it gets?"
"Yes, sir," she confird. "If it stays outside its native universe for too long, it could eventually lose all its power and beco an ordinary stone."
Loe cursed softly under his breath. "We can't afford to let that happen. We need to find a solution."
Another scientist chid in, "Sir, based on our simulations, we estimate we may be able to restore so of its power, possibly up to 20%. But beyond that..."
Loe interrupted, his tone resolute, "Any amount of power is crucial. We must preserve whatever we can. This stone holds mysteries we've only begun to comprehend."
The scientists nodded solemnly, understanding the gravity of their task.
"We'll deploy every resource and explore every avenue," one assured him. "We won't rest until we've done everything possible to sustain its energy."
Loe nodded firmly. "Good. Ti is of the essence. The fate of the stone, and perhaps more, hinges on our success."
