1615. Seeking good fortune and avoiding bad luck has beco instinctual, visiting the Saintess of Xiyuan

At present, apart from a few forces like the Demon Court, many of the supre powers from the Xiyuan Civilization had already sent their representatives to personally congratulate Chu Gucheng on his birthday, showing him great respect. Although there was still a fierce battle going on at the borders of the domain, where the Demon Court’s army was clashing with the forces of the Immortal Chu Haotu, this did not affect Chu Gucheng’s birthday celebration in the slightest.

When the figure of the Saintess of Xiyuan disappeared, a distant rumble echoed from the edge of the sky. An ancient warship broke through the void, its ancient hull exuding a deep, worn-out aura, as though it had rushed from the distant past.

“It’s the ancient warship of the Imperial Immortal Palace. It seems the Imperial Immortal Palace has also sent soone,” a guest remarked, causing a stir. Many people stood up, staring at the warship.

Recently, many events had unfolded in the Shengyang Ancient Domain, drawing attention from all sides, but no one knew exactly what had happened there. However, another matter that had drawn significant attention was the sudden ergence of the Jing Clan, with a senior figure from the sa era as the Imperial Immortal Palace’s founder reappearing in the world.

Many believed that this senior figure would likely join forces with the Imperial Immortal Palace in the near future, which naturally garnered a lot of attention.

“The distinguished guests of the Imperial Immortal Palace have arrived.” Chu Gucheng smiled upon seeing this. The gloomy mood he had felt earlier because of the Saintess of Xiyuan’s lack of courtesy instantly cleared up, and he rose to welco them.

There wasn’t much interaction or any significant relations between the Imperial Immortal Palace and Immortal Chu Haotu, neither friendship nor enmity. Chu Gucheng had sent out invitations, and the fact that they had co clearly showed respect for him.

However, Chu Gucheng couldn’t shake the feeling that soone might be observing him. Just monts ago, he had suddenly felt a mysterious gaze fall upon him, sending a shiver down his spine.

It was as if, in the unseen void, a pair of terrifying eyes suddenly opened, preparing to survey all the worlds.

“What’s going on?” Chu Gucheng beca sowhat alert. He looked up at the sky, which was still clear and blue, with no signs of abnormality.

“Truly deserving of being a child of destiny who has reached this point, seeking good fortune and avoiding bad luck has already beco instinctive.”

Inside the ancient warship, Gu Changge revealed a slight look of interest. He had only briefly probed Chu Gucheng just now, but to his surprise, Chu Gucheng had actually beco alert. This was sothing that was impossible in the case of past children of destiny.

Looking at it this way, in the Immortal Chu Haotu’s territory, especially in the imperial capital, Chu Gucheng, blessed with luck, was indeed in an inherently invincible position. Ordinary people in this place were basically no match for him.

However, Gu Changge did not intend to act against Chu Gucheng or the Immortal Chu Haotu at this ti. He was still waiting for a more opportune mont.

“Lord Chu.”

Outside the ancient warship, an elder from the Imperial Immortal Palace stepped forward and began conversing with Chu Gucheng.

Chu Gucheng, having snapped out of his strange mood, cupped his hands and said, “It is truly an honor to have the distinguished guests from the Imperial Immortal Palace travel billions of miles to attend. Please, this way.”

Ling Yu Xian and the others followed the elder, leaving the ancient warship. Chu Gucheng only glanced at them but didn’t pay too much attention.

However, when he saw Gu Changge step out from the ancient warship, his brows involuntarily furrowed. He felt as if the young man was sizing him up.

The way the other person looked at him made him uncomfortable, almost as though he was being scrutinized like an object, or perhaps like prey?

Chu Gucheng found this feeling strange. He had never seen this young man before, yet he had the odd sensation of having encountered him sowhere.

“Lord Chu, what’s wrong?”

The elder in charge of overseeing the birthday celebration for the Imperial Immortal Palace looked at Chu Gucheng in surprise and asked, “Is sothing wrong?” Ȑ𝒶ΝȎBËŝ

“No, it’s nothing. The younger generation of the Imperial Immortal Palace is truly outstanding,” Chu Gucheng regained his composure, waved his hand, and smiled.

To him, this young man was indeed sowhat exceptional, but he was just a mber of the younger generation from the Imperial Immortal Palace, so there was no reason for him to pay too much attention.

“Hahaha, Lord Chu overestimates us,” the elder from the Imperial Immortal Palace laughed heartily, in a good mood. Now that the Imperial Immortal Palace was on the rise again, it was only a matter of ti before they restored the glory of ancient tis.

Ling Yu Xian, however, glanced at Gu Changge without showing any emotion. She had always felt that Gu Changge’s presence at the banquet was not without reason.

“Why is Junior Sister Yu Xian secretly staring at ?” Gu Changge asked with a playful smile when he noticed her gaze. “If you like watching, just say it. I’ll make sure you have enough to look at.”

Ling Yu Xian’s face flushed a deep red at his words, and she felt like spitting at him. Coldly, she huffed and replied, “Stop being so full of yourself. I was just curious. What are you staring at him for?”

Gu Changge smiled and said, “After all, he is the Lord of Immortal Chu Haotu. I’m simply curious and respectful. What’s wrong with taking a look?”

Ling Yu Xian rolled her eyes and said, “You don’t even care about my sister’s background, so why would you be interested in such an upstart?”

Although she had not yet fully regained her peak strength, to her, Chu Gucheng was nothing more than a rising star. In terms of seniority and experience, she was far above him.

Gu Changge’s background and origins were only more ancient and mysterious; how could he care about such trivial matters?

“When did Junior Sister Yu Xian suddenly get to know so well?” Gu Changge continued to smile, as if amused by her reaction.

Ling Yu Xian was montarily stunned, then suddenly realized.

That’s right, when had she suddenly beco so familiar with this guy?

“Who’s getting to know you? Stop being so full of yourself,” she retorted in an annoyed tone, quickening her pace and tightly following behind the others from the Imperial Immortal Palace.

Gu Changge seed to smile and then continued walking leisurely behind her.

This scene didn’t surprise the mbers of the Imperial Immortal Palace. Previously, there had been many rumors about Ling Yu Xian and Gu Changge when they were at the Imperial Immortal Palace. Now, as they walked so closely together to the banquet, it was no surprise that people started to make assumptions. Even the courtyards where they rested were quite close to each other.

The birthday banquet for Chu Gucheng had not yet officially begun, and the guests each had their designated resting areas. After Ling Yu Xian arrived at the palace arranged by Immortal Chu Haotu, she imdiately concealed the surrounding aura and began to contact her sister, Ling Yuling.

“I already know most of what’s happening on your side. From the current situation, it seems that Immortal Chu Haotu is not in any significant danger.”

“But just to be safe, you should visit the Saintess of Xiyuan early tomorrow. I also want to ask her so things directly.”

In a copper basin, the clear water reflected Ling Yuling’s figure. She sat cross-legged on the edge of a cliff, with a vast abyss behind her, shrouded in mist, as if she could ride the wind at any mont.

At that mont, the cloud mist in front of her dispersed and transford into a crystal-clear ancient mirror. Within the mirror, the reflection of Ling Yu Xian from Immortal Chu Haotu appeared.

“Visit the Saintess of Xiyuan?” Ling Yu Xian was surprised.

Ling Yuling nodded. She had yet to tell her sister about the events that took place when she encountered the descendants of the Southern Monarch in the chaotic space-ti sea. She wasn’t sure if Ling Yu Xian even rembered the Southern Monarch.

At that mont, in a pavilion in the capital of Immortal Chu Haotu, Gu Changge sat by the window. The fragrance of tea filled the air as he casually played with the teacup, his gaze falling on the bustling street outside.

“It truly is a prosperous scene,” he murmured, almost in admiration.

“I wonder… which old friend could it be…”

Accompanied by the sound of footsteps, an old man walked over.

He looked sowhat puzzled and was about to speak, but as soon as he saw the figure of Gu Changge sitting by the window, he was imdiately stunned.

“It’s been quite so ti since we last t, but Old Fu, you seem to have aged quite a bit,” Gu Changge glanced at the approaching elder and said with a faint smile.

Old Fu’s expression wavered between different emotions. Inside the mansion, he had been inford by the servants that an old acquaintance had co to visit, inviting him to et at this tea house. At the ti, he was confused and wondered which old friend would co to visit him so specifically.

“I see the young master,” Old Fu said, completely caught off guard by the appearance of Gu Changge. He had no idea how Gu Changge had co to the capital of Immortal Chu Haotu and seated himself so openly.

It was true that back in the South Wilderness Ancient Domain, he had been saved by Gu Changge. But at that ti, it was also because of Gu Changge’s actions that the whereabouts of Chu Gucheng’s son, Chu Xiaoxing, were exposed, leading to his eventual death at the hands of the Demon Court’s Seventh Prince, Di Kun.

How could he dare co to Immortal Chu Haotu? Wasn’t he worried about his identity being exposed and facing retaliation?

“Old Fu, there’s no need for formalities. Please, take a seat.” Gu Changge smiled slightly and gestured for Old Fu to sit down.

Old Fu hesitated for a mont, but because of the life-saving favor Gu Changge had extended to him, he didn’t want to be rude, so he sat down beside him.

“I wonder, young master, what brings you to see an old man like ?” Old Fu asked straightforwardly, not wanting to waste ti with pleasantries.
