This reconnaissance ship now blatantly revealing itself and approaching the Swarm likely had sothing to discuss.
In the eyes of the Confederation races, the Swarm was an extrely mysterious and exclusive species. When the Swarm was still part of the Confederation, contacting them was possible either by personally delivering ssages to their planets or through the few quantum communication devices left by the Ji race.
However, as relations soured, those quantum communication devices had long been dismantled and studied by the Swarm. Thus, the only way to contact the Swarm actively remained.
Regarding the identity and intentions of this unmarked spaceship, Luo Wen could roughly guess. The resistance forces had saved Sarah. Although they suspected her grievous injuries, they couldn’t be entirely sure.
The Swarm Empress was rescued, and the Swarm must acknowledge their favor. However, if the Swarm Empress died in their hands due to severe injuries, the Swarm’s gratitude could turn into enmity.
Yet, they faced the sa situation as the Ji race: unable to dissect the Swarm Empress, they couldn’t find a way to heal her.
But unlike the Ji race, who couldn’t seek help from the Swarm, they could. On the surface, they shared a common enemy with the Swarm.
Soon, two humanoid beings erged from the spaceship. Though clad in full-body protective suits obscuring their faces, Luo Wen recognized them instantly as part of the Yasufit race, mbers of an inner-circle civilization.
These two appeared sowhat apprehensive. After the Confederation’s propaganda, the Swarm wasn’t known for its good temper. During warti, suddenly appearing outside an enemy planet could be interpreted as provocation, potentially leading to their demise there.
Their spaceship was fast, but the Swarm had elongated fish beasts that, though rarely seen, boasted fierce combat records and were the most dreaded things for scouts. If the Swarm suddenly attacked during their approach, escape would be nearly impossible.
Fortunately, the Swarm didn’t seem like the easily angered monsters depicted in propaganda. They showed no aggressive reaction to the approach and instead led them to land on the planet.
After disembarking, the two Yasufit individuals felt sowhat awkward as they were surrounded by nurous non-humanoid forms. They had heard of the Swarm’s unique structure and knew that intelligent humanoid Swarm creatures were very cautious about leaving their ho planet.
After waiting a short while and seeing no change in the situation, they had no choice but to attempt shouting their purpose in the Confederation’s common language.
As Luo Wen guessed, their visit was to declare that they had saved Sarah and to seek a thod to heal her.
Just as the Yasufit individuals repeated their ssage for the second ti, a spider combat bug surrounding them suddenly stepped forward. Its blade-like limbs effortlessly carved traces on the mottled, hard ground.
A mont later, looking at the words before them, the two Yasufit exchanged glances, nodded, and seeing that the Swarm didn’t intend to keep them for dinner, they took the initiative to bid farewell.
There was no need for them to report back. The reconnaissance ship was covered with surveillance caras, and the ones selected for this task were top-notch. The exchange wasn’t far from the reconnaissance ship, so the ship’s built-in quantum communication device had already transmitted real-ti video information to the rear.
The mysterious organization was very cautious; upon receiving the relevant data, they imdiately cut off the communication link, and the reconnaissance ship directly destroyed the valuable quantum communication equipnt.
Using the quantum communication network within the Swarm’s territory was an extrely risky move. Not all reconnaissance ships were qualified to be equipped with a quantum communication device. However, the interference from the stellar explosion shockwave between the Swarm’s territory and the Confederation ant that the reconnaissance ship would need to take a large detour to return safely, significantly increasing travel ti. The extended journey would also increase variables, leading to unforeseen incidents.
Moreover, judging by the Swarm Empress’s condition, her injuries were indeed severe. While the mysterious force could afford to wait, the injured couldn’t. Thus, they had no choice but to risk using the communication node.
