Snow?

Eternal Domain.

This massive domain suspended in the sky was like an invisible cruise ship, slowly advancing above the nothingness. And at the very front of this cruise ship, a figure draped in a black robe stood silently.

The Lord of Wuji slowly raised his head, his gaze staring at the five suns hanging above, not knowing what he was thinking.

"Five suns... what kind of place is this exactly?" A Knight on the side also saw this Anomaly and spoke in surprise.

"Even if it's the Gray World, there should only be one, right?"

"What does this an? Are we no longer on Earth here?"

"..."

The crowd had just entered the Civilization Embers and noticed the abnormal number of suns in the sky. And what surprised them the most was that no matter how they advanced, those five suns seed like flat images, hanging far away in the nothingness, impossible to approach.

The Lord of Wuji stared at those five suns for a long ti, suddenly speaking:

"Those aren't suns... they are so kind of mark."

"A mark?"

"Not left behind by people, but marks left behind by the world itself... Just like the growth rings on a tree, they are marks left by the tree to rember the years."

"So, these suns are like growth rings, also so kind of counter?" The Knight was thoughtful.

"Five suns... what are they recording?"

The Lord of Wuji didn't answer.

He silently turned his head to glance in the direction of the Palace of Eternity.

Since the Lord of Wuji could see the nature of those suns, he naturally could guess what they ant... He guessed right. This place indeed had an inextricably close relationship with the Dusk Society and Chen Ling.

"Lord of Wuji, My Lord, look! Is that a city ahead?"

A Knight suddenly spoke.

The crowd's gazes looked downwards. They actually saw specks of black spots appearing on the desolate earth. Because the current position of the Eternal Domain was very high, the crowd couldn't see clearly, but it seed to be a patch of scattered ruins.

Seeing this, the Lord of Wuji willed it, and gradually controlled the Eternal Domain to descend...

As the distance from the earth gradually shrank, the crowd finally saw clearly that it was the ruins of a modern city. Towering buildings, incomplete streets, daily necessities ssily scattered across the various remains... These things were very new, making people feel as if soone had still lived here not long ago, but looking around, they couldn't see the shadow of a single person.

It was as if the people who originally lived in this city had been forcibly erased by so kind of power.

"Deep within the Gray World, how could there be a human city??"

"Look, how are those two buildings intersected with each other? Were they originally built like that?"

"How is that possible..."

"..."

While the Knights were astonished, a faint glimr of doubt also flashed in the depths of the Lord of Wuji's eyes. He gently raised his hand and grabbed downwards.

In the next mont, hundreds of flowing giant steel claws, like alien tools appearing in a sci-fi movie, extended from the bottom of the Eternal Domain, swarming towards the city ruins below...

Creak—— Creak...

Streetlamps, vehicles, roads, walls, clothes, tables and chairs... Countless things were locked onto by these giant steel claws. Along with the contraction of the tal structures, they rapidly rose towards the sky.

At the sa ti, a hollow suddenly appeared at the bottom of the Eternal Domain, like a giant abyssal maw that swallowed matter. Those giant steel claws continuously threw the matter from the city below into it, looking extrely like a self-aware floating monster that was feeding on the human city.

The Lord of Wuji closed his eyes, as if carefully analyzing the material structure of these substances below, and transforming them into nutrients for the Palace of Eternity...

After a long while, he slowly opened his eyes.

"This is not the world where Earth is located."

"The graveyard of the Gray World, the Civilization Embers... He really didn't lie to ."

The Lord of Wuji had completely deconstructed the materials of these ruins. Although these things looked no different from the forr Earth on the surface, a very small portion of the materials were clearly not products of the world they were in.

Here, was another world extrely similar to Earth.

The movent speed of the Eternal Domain was very slow. From when it started approaching the Civilization Embers to arriving at the edge of this city's ruins, it took a whole day. At this mont, although the five suns in the sky seed to still exist, they didn't seem to produce sufficient light and heat at all.

The sky above the Eternal Domain gradually dimd, while the five suns in the distance still hung high. Light and darkness coexisted at this mont, as if they were in an inexplicably split alien world.

Right at this mont, a surprised voice sounded by the Lord of Wuji's ear:

"Lord of Wuji, My Lord..."

"It seems to have started snowing here?"

The Lord of Wuji looked up and saw snowflakes resembling embers fluttering down from the nothingness high above. They were like shadows wandering between light and dark, silently and gently enveloping the earth.

Feeling sowhat puzzled, he raised his hand and caught a snowflake in his palm. His profound eyes studied this thing, his eyes narrowing slightly...

"This is..."

...

"Are my eyes playing tricks on ? Where did our Eternal Domain end up? Why are there five suns in the sky??"

A man stood at his doorway, looking up at the five decorative-like suns above his head with an expression like he'd seen a ghost...

Not only him, but other residents of the Eternal Domain were also standing on the streets, pointing at the dim suns above their heads and discussing sothing. A woman walked out of their house and grabbed his shoulder:

"Why are you joining in the commotion? What if there's danger outside? Hurry inside and hide obediently, don't run around!"

"Oh, what are you panicking for? With the Lord of Wuji, My Lord here, what danger could there be?"

"Don't argue with . When I say stay ho, you stay ho! Look at Xiao Chen staying obediently at ho, can't you, as a father, be a bit more steady?"

Thinking it was rare to see a five-sun spectacle, the man wanted to argue back a few words, but seeing the woman glare at him viciously, he still cowered... Helplessly following her back into the house.

As the door closed, the woman was still worried. After double-locking it, she ca to her son Tian Xiaochen's door.

Knock knock knock——

After knocking gently, she opened the door a crack...

She saw Tian Xiaochen sitting quietly at his desk. On top of it was a half-played Gomoku ga. His gaze wasn't on the chessboard, but was seriously looking out the window, as if spacing out.

Seeing her son still staying obediently in the room, the woman was instantly relieved, but still instructed:

"Xiao Chen, it's very dangerous outside. Stay properly at ho, don't run around, understand?"

"Mm."

Tian Xiaochen responded without turning his head.

The woman closed the door and left in satisfaction.

Tian Xiaochen quietly looked out the window. When the first ash-like snowflake slowly floated down from the sky onto the windowsill, his gaze focused...

He took a deep breath, and muttered to himself in the empty room:

"Lord Chen Ling, it's snowing."
