Warning Beating
Han ng didn't care about the threats of the two Councilors.
He rely looked at the two quietly. Those deep eyes seed to have long seen through their thoughts, unconsciously revealing a trace of disdain, as he spoke indifferently:
"Oh."
Han ng knew why they ca. The reason they harbored such intense hostility towards him was because he knew their leverage... That Judgnt tore off the last fig leaf of these two, so naturally, they wouldn't let him off.
But Han ng didn't care about imprisonnt at all. Whether it was extended or he was transferred, he knew that no matter what kind of judgnt the Alliance Council gave him, he would co out early completely unscathed.
Just like Hong Xiu said,
When war cos and the fate of humanity is at stake, past rights and wrongs will no longer be important... Whoever can save humanity will be the hero.
Sensing that Han ng didn't put the two of them in his eyes at all, the anger on the two Councilors' faces grew even thicker.
"Han ng, you will pay the price for your arrogance."
"We have pulled out your past files from the Councilors of the Aurora Domain. You, along with the World-Ending Calamity Chen Ling and Aurora Daily reporter Wen Shilin, launched several violent actions and public opinion storms against Aurora City. We are already investigating and gathering evidence. We will prove that you and the World-Ending Calamity Chen Ling are birds of a feather, spies planted in the Human Domains by the Gray World..."
"Whether it's you or that black-hearted reporter Wen Shilin, we will pursue your criminal responsibilities and make your matters public to the world."
"When that ti cos, I'd like to see what standpoint you, this 'Judgnt' Pathway Chief, can still stand on to judge others?"
Hearing this, Han ng's calm eyes instantly turned cold.
He understood. These two Councilors wanted to start from the Aurora Domain and fabricate a set of unwarranted charges for him. Although he had indeed barged through Aurora City, barged through the Aurora Base, and clashed with so Enforcers, the truth was definitely not as they said... But now the Aurora Domain was gone, and no one could testify for him. As long as these two joined hands with the Councilors from the Aurora Domain, what they said would beco the 'truth'.
By doing this, they wanted to make the public lose faith in his [Judgnt]. This way, the results of his Judgnt on the two of them would naturally beco unimportant...
Han ng could not care about his own reputation, but because they dragged Chen Ling and the already deceased Wen Shilin into this, he could not accept it.
"Are you two... seeking death?"
Seventh Stage killing intent radiated from Han ng's eyes, and a mountainous Oppressive Aura rushed towards the two Councilors like a tidal wave!
The faces of the two Councilors instantly turned pale, but their bodies didn't retreat; instead, they sneered at Han ng. Behind them, two figures wearing uniforms simultaneously took a step forward. Two Sixth Stage auras erupted, blocking the vast majority of the Oppressive Aura for the Councilors.
The Councilors themselves were Ordinary Persons, but the Alliance Council still assigned security personnel to them. After all, since Domain security was involved, they had to be careful.
Although the two Councilors still had lingering fear of Han ng's aura, a sharp light flashed in their eyes at this mont as they imdiately shouted reprimands:
"Han ng! Are you trying to murder Councilors in public?!"
"Pu Chunshu! This prisoner you are responsible for imprisoning is openly attacking Councilors on your turf. Are you just going to watch?!"
Their successive shouts made Pu Chunshu's expression to the side instantly grow solemn.
The Pu Family indeed didn't place much importance on the Alliance Council, but that didn't an they could allow Councilors to be attacked on their turf... If such a thing really happened, they would face accountability from the Lord of the South Sea, and even their own Ancestor would be dragged into it.
Pu Chunshu was just about to speak up to stop Han ng, but the next second, Han ng retracted his aura on his own, standing quietly in place as if nothing had happened.
"You two must be joking." Han ng spoke indifferently,
"I am just on the verge of a breakthrough, so my aura is a bit hard to contain... Naturally, I wouldn't dare to attack Councilors."
Han ng wasn't afraid of the Alliance Council, but making a move against the two Councilors here would implicate the Pu Family as well. The Pu Family treated him well, so Han ng naturally wouldn't disregard others and attack the Councilors in a mont of hot-headedness.
Han ng stood in place from beginning to end, not even lifting a hand. Just releasing his aura couldn't even be considered an attack.
Seeing this, a hint of disappointnt flashed deep within the two Councilors' eyes.
They knew they couldn't gain any more today, but their goal had already been achieved. After glancing over Han ng and the people of the Pu Family, they coldly snorted:
"Everything that happened today, we will truthfully state at the Council... Control your prisoner properly. Don't let the Pu Family provoke trouble they shouldn't provoke."
"Let's go."
After saying that, the two Councilors walked out towards the Pu Family gate with their hands behind their backs, followed closely by their two bodyguards.
Seeing this, Pu Chunshu gave Han ng an apologetic look, then quickly followed after them... Even though he looked down on these two, he still had to do the surface-level work of seeing off guests.
The people originally surrounding the wing room also gradually dispersed. Pu Xiachan looked at the backs of those two people with extre displeasure, cursing:
"Truly, any sort of trash can beco a Councilor now... When I beco a higher-up, I will definitely kill all people like this."
Han ng didn't reply.
Pu Xiachan was just about to offer so comfort, but Han ng turned and left, going straight back into his room and slowly closing the door.
The purpose of these two Councilors coming this ti, besides putting pressure on him, was to give the Pu Family a warning beating... After this trip, the Pu Family might not care and would still let Han ng move freely, but Han ng didn't want to make things difficult for the Pu Family.
From now on, he would not leave this courtyard again.
Pu Xiachan looked at the tightly shut door, and after a long while, let out a long sigh...
...
"Splendid." In the distance, a smile curled up at the corners of Pu Shu's mouth.
"These two Councilors seed to be making trouble unreasonably, but inadvertently, they gave both Han ng and the Pu Family a warning beating, and even a show of strength... It's just a pity Han ng didn't take the bait and attack them, otherwise the charge of attacking Councilors would have been solidified."
"It seems we made the right choice coming this ti... Wouldn't you say, Cousin?"
"...Cousin?"
Since there was no response from the person beside him for a long ti, Pu Shu doubtfully turned his head to look.
He saw that "Pu Jianyue" was staring in the direction the two Councilors had left. His gaze flickered with a faint light, and it was unknown what he was thinking.
"Ah Shu, I still have to go find my father later, you go ahead and eat lunch by yourself first..."
Pu Shu was startled, then nodded. "True. Now that Cousin has returned from this training excursion, you should be taking over the assets... That's the real important matter. Then Cousin, you go ahead and busy yourself. We will gather again tonight."
Although Pu Shu wanted to deal with Han ng, he wasn't in a rush for this mont. Anyway, Han ng was currently imprisoned in the wing room and couldn't run away even if he wanted to.
"Mm."
After Pu Shu left,
Chen Ling's eyes, reflecting the backs of the two Councilors, flashed with a chilling coldness.
