Justice

The Pu Family.

"Officer Han ng, the Head of the Pu Family invites you."

Under the peach blossom tree at the door of the wing room, a figure wearing a black Enforcer trench coat was quietly looking into the distance at the azure sky. The breeze gently fluttered his coat hem, and it was unknown what he was thinking about.

The respectful voice coming from behind pulled Han ng's thoughts back to reality.

"...Lead the way."

He answered indifferently.

The Pu Family was very large. The Chinese-style wing rooms, covered bridges, and gardens were intricately intertwined like an ancient royal mansion. Every flower and every tree revealed an exquisite and elegant atmosphere. Coupled with the South Sea Domain's climate that felt like spring all year round, it was undoubtedly an excellent place for nourishing people.

Han ng followed behind that Pu Family mber, passing through one garden after another. During this ti, so Pu Family mbers occasionally noticed this black-clothed man who looked out of place with the Pu Family. A hint of surprise appeared between their brows as they asked around about where this person ca from.

When the Pu Family hosted guests, there were special reception rooms. It was truly rare to see soone directly arranged to live in the inner courtyard of the Pu Family like this.

"The Head of the Pu Family, is it that Demigod of the Path of the Scholar God?" Han ng asked suddenly.

The guide shook his head,

"No, that Demigod is our Pu Family's Ancestor. He lives in seclusion beneath a cliff all year round. Unless the Lord of the South Sea personally cos to invite him, he generally won't leave there easily... The daily affairs of the Pu Family are basically managed by his son, which is the Head of the Pu Family."

Han ng nodded slightly.

The world knew that the South Sea Pu Family had a Demigod holding down the fort, but news about this Demigod was extrely rare. Even Han ng hadn't seen the other party with his own eyes, only hearing that such a person existed in the Pu Family...

But Han ng was sowhat puzzled. He had almost no interaction with this Pu Family, so why were they paying so much attention to him?

A few minutes later, Han ng was brought to the door of an elegant study.

"Officer Han ng, please go in."

Han ng decisively and resolutely raised his hand, pushed the door, and entered.

Bright sunlight shone through the exquisite carved windows, illuminating the Talisman Scrolls hanging all over the room. The paper pages, thin as cicada wings, fluttered wave after wave in the breeze, emitting an extrely stress-relieving crisp rustling sound.

And among these countless Talisman Scrolls, a figure wearing an ink-colored long gown was sitting behind a mahogany long table. Holding a Calligraphy Brush in one hand, he was focused on writing sothing.

The mont Han ng stepped into the room, he felt a heavy sense of accumulated literature blow against his face, as if he were enveloped by so invisible force, making his shoulders feel heavy.

"Mr. Han is here."

That middle-aged figure imdiately stopped writing and a smile surfaced at the corners of his mouth. He raised his hand, gesturing for Han ng to sit down.

Han ng just passed through the white waves of Talisman Scrolls like this, politely nodded to the middle-aged figure in greeting, and then calmly sat on the guest chair. "First ti eting, thank you for the hospitality."

"It is indeed the first ti you and I have t, but I've long heard about your matters," the Head of the Pu Family said with a leisurely smile. "The genius Enforcer of the Aurora Domain, the youngest 'Judgnt' Pathway Chief... And, the fierce man who single-handedly cast Judgnt on thirty-six Councilors."

Hearing the final sentence, Han ng's face didn't show much expression. He fell silent for a mont before asking:

"My current identity is considered a prisoner... The Pu Family's supervision over is a bit too loose."

The Head of the Pu Family smiled slightly,

"Indeed... What you did, putting it lightly, was provoking the Alliance Council; putting it heavily, you attempted to murder thirty-six of humanity's higher-ups... If it wasn't for Hong Xiu protecting you with her life, what you would be facing is probably life imprisonnt.

"However, what does your provocation of the Alliance Council have to do with our Pu Family?

"The Alliance Council was established under the leadership of the Lord of the South Sea, and our Ancestor actually didn't have much interest in it. Moreover, after the old man heard about what you did, he instead had great appreciation for you. He thinks highly of you."

"That Demigod of the Pu Family thinks highly of ?" Han ng was sowhat surprised.

"That's right."

The Head of the Pu Family solemnly took out a black wooden box from under the table and handed it in front of Han ng,

"Hearing that you were being transferred to the South Sea Domain, the Ancestor instructed to host you well. He also personally wrote so calligraphy for you as a eting gift from our Pu Family..."

Han ng looked down at that wooden box, and after hesitating for a mont, still opened it on the spot.

Inside the wooden box was a rolled-up Talisman Scroll.

Han ng slowly unrolled the Talisman Scroll, and two upright and vigorous large characters suddenly leaped into Han ng's eyes, as if breaking through the constraints of the paper!

— [Justice].

Every stroke was sharp and dazzling. Underneath the seemingly steady montum, there laid a sharp and unyielding arrogance. For so reason, even though Han ng clearly only saw two words, he vaguely saw a figure standing tall and straight in front of all living beings, standing like an unyielding sword and a fearless spear amidst their anger and accusations.

Han ng's gaze was completely attracted by these two characters. He felt that so part of his heart began to resonate with them. It was an indescribable feeling...

But during this process, his [Judgnt] Path seed to beco even clearer, taking a massive step forward abruptly.

It was only after a long ti that he put away this Talisman Scroll in a sowhat dazed manner...

Is this... the power of a Demigod of the Path of the Scholar God?

"...Thank you." Han ng spoke sincerely. "I really like this gift."

"As long as you like it." The Head of the Pu Family nodded slightly. "Although it's imprisonnt, our Pu Family will not restrict your freedom. You can co and go freely within the courtyard. However, if you want to go out, it's best to have Chunshu or Xiachan accompany you... As long as you don't let those Councilors catch any leverage against you."

The Head of the Pu Family thought for a mont before adding:

"There's one more thing I have to remind you of... Even in the Pu Family, besides , Chunshu, and Xiachan, it's best if you don't get too close to other unfamiliar Pu Family mbers."

Although Han ng wasn't very willing to interact with others to begin with, hearing the Head of the Pu Family point this out made him a bit puzzled:

"Why?"

"The Pu Family is a large family with many direct and branch bloodlines. Many years ago, a branch bloodline made a mistake and was expelled from the Pu Family. They later traveled a long way and went to the Aurora Domain... I heard that you seed to have had a conflict."

Han ng was stunned, and his mind imdiately recalled the few Pu Family mbers attached to the Stars Chamber of Comrce he had seen when he was in the Aurora Domain... Back then, it seed Chen Ling had killed a Pu Family youth in the Ancient Vault of the Military Path. Later, an elder of the Pu Family ca, only to get beaten up by him. And even later, Chen Ling wiped out that entire Pu Family branch, leaving almost no survivors.

"There was such a thing."

"That branch bloodline still has a few elders in the Pu Family, and over these years, they have spread their branches again and developed quite well... You need to be careful of them. Although they wouldn't dare do anything openly, in the dark, it's hard to say."

Han ng was not worried about this, he just answered indifferently:

"Thank you for the reminder, Head of the Pu Family... The Pu Family has already helped enough. I can handle these small matters myself."
