Kicking Away the Turbid Calamity

The aura of the World-Ending Calamity completely erupted. Beneath that writhing flesh and blood root, the surrounding light was completely devoured. At first glance, it seed as if the entire sky had rged with that root, pressing down densely and heavily.

Fierce winds howled!!

Chen Ling's palm struggled to withstand the howling aura of the Turbid Calamity. As that root rapidly expanded in his pupils, a threat of death welled up in his heart!

What should he do?

What other way was there?!

Chen Ling's mind raced, thinking of almost all possibilities in an instant, but he couldn't find a chance of survival. He had already returned to the Integration Faction once this morning, and there were still several hours before this Tiline Save File ended. Trying to rely on detaching from the Save Point to avoid danger was also impossible...

Just as Chen Ling's entire body was taut, a palm slowly rested on his shoulder.

Chen Ling blanked out.

He turned his head and found that a figure wearing a Tang suit had appeared beside him at so unknown ti. The tips of Sun Bumian's hair fluttered in the fierce wind, and his pupils behind those small Round Sunglasses quietly looked in the direction of the Turbid Calamity...

Not only Chen Ling, but Ying Fu had similarly failed to notice when Sun Bumian had arrived. The gazes of the two were sowhat astonished.

Sun Bumian turned his head to look at Chen Ling. His gaze was very detailed and solemn, as if trying to find sothing special about Chen Ling... but he still discovered nothing.

"Sun Bumian, what are you doing?"

Chen Ling noticed Sun Bumian's subtle change in expression and asked in confusion.

"Truly... I can't understand the old man's thoughts." Sun Bumian sighed. "Make way, you two."

"?"

Chen Ling didn't know what Sun Bumian was talking about, but he and Ying Fu still subconsciously opened a path.

Sun Bumian slowly took off the small Round Sunglasses on the bridge of his nose and put away that cynical posture. The hems of his Tang suit fluttered in the fierce wind. His nested ringed pupils looked at that giant shadow that seed to be dragging down the firmant, and he slowly walked forward.

Seeing Sun Bumian's back as he walked forward, an idea that even he himself didn't dare to believe welled up in Chen Ling's heart...

Was he going to single-handedly challenge the Turbid Calamity??

Chen Ling opened his mouth, about to ask sothing. The next mont, a patch of white blood from beneath Sun Bumian's feet.

The instant Sun Bumian's foot stepped down, a white Domain frantically expanded to the surroundings, occupying almost half of Wushan. At the sa ti, countless rings nested within one another, rippling out within the white light with him at the center, like ripples ford by stones dropping into a lake, densely occupying the earth.

"Master... Is this the final move you taught ?"

Sun Bumian looked down at the ripples beneath his feet and muttered to himself.

The world could only see the ripples rising beneath his feet, but only Sun Bumian himself knew that every ripple here represented a self from a Reincarnation Cycle...

Over a thousand years of accumulation, exactly how many tis had Sun Bumian reincarnated?

From prosperous ages, to war-torn chaos, to rebuilding the nation, to prosperity once more... Eras were changing, and Sun Bumian was forever a part of them. But in those ancient years, before material desires ran rampant, when everyone would pray for happiness, even he himself couldn't rember how many tis he had reached Rank 8.

Just as his Master had said, every Reincarnation Cycle of his was an accumulation...

And the key to unlocking everything,

Lay in a single thought of Sun Bumian.

"A single root shouldn't take too much."

Sun Bumian looked at the selves from his Reincarnation Cycles, muttering to himself calculatingly like a miser.

He took another step forward. Several rings within the white light beneath his feet slowly floated up, nesting beside Sun Bumian like the rings in his pupils... At the sa ti, phantom after phantom of Sun Bumian appeared behind him.

No matter which Reincarnation Cycle it was in, Sun Bumian's appearance hadn't changed, only his attire was slightly different. So wore simple coarse cloth and hemp garnts, so wore fine silk, so wore fluffy fur... But his simple and pure gaze remained eternally unchanged.

Rank 8, Rank 8, Rank 8, Rank 8, Rank 8...

These phantoms stood behind Sun Bumian, and one Rank 8 aura after another erupted explosively. As their figures all ignited with the colorful flas of the Awakened Lion, fading away bit by bit, Sun Bumian's own aura began to climb at an astonishing speed!!

"That is..."

Looking at this scene, Chen Ling was incomparably shocked.

Hum—!!

The root of the Turbid Calamity, bringing with it the dense black firmant, crashed down with a boom!

The Turbid Calamity could devour light. The instant it approached, Chen Ling's vision was almost pitch black. He could only sense that under the howling of the fierce wind, that root was crashing down with world-shattering power. If this strike landed, everyone here would turn to bloody water, and all the surrounding peaks would be leveled to the ground.

Right at this mont, a wisp of colorful light lit up before them.

Boom—!!!!

It was as if Pangu was splitting heaven and earth, instantly parting chaos.

On the pitch-black firmant, dense colorful Markings resembling a spiderweb cracked open in an instant. Amidst the extrely dazzling radiance, a sun-like lion shadow swept across the darkness, emitting an ear-shattering roar.

The next mont, the devoured light returned to the world once more. When the crowd looked up, they saw that the flesh and blood root that had blotted out the firmant had actually been smashed to pieces!

Showers of blood drifted down, but were all purified by Chen Ling's starlight.

And in mid-air, a youth with glaring lion pupils was bathed in fire, his hair fluttering in the wind. The aura emanating from his body was not even slightly weaker than the terrifying Oppressive Aura brought by the World-Ending Calamity just now!

"Big... big bro, this is..."

"A true god?!"

Seeing Sun Bumian in the sky who looked almost like a Divine Being, Pao Ge and the others nearly Prostrated Themselves Instantly.

And Chen Ling was also shocked beyond words by this scene. He had known Sun Bumian for so long during the era of the Nine Monarchs, yet he had never seen him have such a trump card... One had to know that the combat power Sun Bumian was erupting with right now was approaching that of a Demigod!!

In mid-air, Sun Bumian's lion pupils stared at the rift before him. That root that had been chopped in half was frantically writhing, even more violent than before.

The Turbid Calamity seed to have been enraged, continuously attempting to break open this rift, wanting to extend more of its body over to kill Sun Bumian. But perhaps because the intersection of the two realms was not yet stable, not only did that rift not expand further, it was actually shrinking bit by bit...

"You don't belong here..." Sun Bumian's voice was incredibly deep.

He slowly raised his foot, and raging colorful fire rapidly gathered on his leg, resembling a scorching sun.

He took a deep breath, and with all the strength in his body, he violently kicked this foot out!

"Get out of here!!!"

Boom—!!!

A giant Awakened Lion foot that blotted out the sky swept forward like a divine pillar, directly kicking a giant hole into the root that was still repairing itself. Terrifying colorful flas churned within it, and the aftershock of the power transmitted past the rift, directly kicking into so massive entity...

An enraged rumbling ca from behind the rift, and the figure of the Turbid Calamity was actually forcibly kicked back into the depths of the Bitter Flesh Forest by this kick!
