Gavel and Gun
Bang——
The muffled gavel strike reverberated within the Tribunal once again, and all light rapidly dimd.
A sense of oppression shrouded the bodies of all the reporters, tightly confining them to their seats, unable to move the slightest bit... Similarly unable to move was Huang He, who was locked in the defendant's dock.
The trial comnced, and order was supre. The mont the small wooden gavel in Han ng's hand struck down, the rules of the entire Domain were established by him.
"Damn it..."
Huang He forcefully struggled against the chains on his body, continuously attempting to "steal" them. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't steal even half a bit of them...
Since a "thief" had already been escorted to the Tribunal, how could it be possible for him to easily steal his own shackles here?
"The Judge" was inherently the nesis of "thieves".
Mysterious Markings spread from the chains, clinging onto the struggling Huang He. The power of Judgnt eroded his body, but didn't cause him any harm, instead looking as if it was searching for sothing.
And at this ti, Han ng, standing at the highest point of the Tribunal, had a touch of dark red rippling in his pupils...
He looked down at Huang He, as if seeing through his essence.
His lips parted slightly:
"In court, of the Suspended Jade Domain, eldest son of Huang Datian and Li Xue, Fire-Stealer Thief Saint Huang He..."
The mont Han ng opened his mouth, he called out Huang He's ancestral ho and his parents' nas, causing Huang He to freeze on the spot. He looked at Han ng in disbelief, seemingly not understanding how this was done...
One must know, he ran away from ho when he was five years old, and had no contact since then. Now, he himself could barely rember his parents' nas, yet Han ng saw through everything with just a glance at him.
Han ng's dark red pupils looked down at Huang He, speaking again:
"Starting from age seven, stole civilian wealth; at age ten, stole the entire life savings of a poor family, causing a family of four to freeze and starve to death in winter; at age twelve, dug up the ancestral graves of over thirty families; at age fifteen, robbed wealth and raped and murdered a young girl..."
"From age seven to the present, accumulated over two hundred and sixty stolen corpses, burgled three thousand six hundred and twelve households, maliciously murdered eight hundred and forty-three people..."
Han ng's voice didn't contain the slightest emotion, like an Enforcer upholding absolute Rationality. And as he spoke out charge after charge, the temperature of the entire Tribunal dropped drastically...
Bead-sized droplets of sweat slid down Huang He's cheeks, his face incomparably pale. This was his first ti encountering such a high-rank [Judgnt] Path. In front of Han ng, all the sins he had committed in the past were as clearly visible as if written on his face.
Huang He could feel that while Han ng was passing judgnt, an indescribable, terrifying Aura was gradually locking onto him...
That Aura didn't co from a specific person, but represented the "justice" of judgnt itself.
[Judgnt] was called humanity's strongest single-target lethal path. Its lethality didn't co from the owner themselves, but from the "justice" judgnt the owner could mobilize... The deeper the sins of the defendant in court, the stronger the power of the judgnt.
This point was sowhat similar to [Asura], which grew stronger by killing people. But compared to the prolonged burst of [Asura], [Judgnt] would only activate once, and its instantaneous nature pushed its lethality to the extre!
And the sins on Huang He's body triggered a power of judgnt that had already far exceeded the limit that Huang He himself could withstand.
Let alone that the one standing in the defendant's dock now was the Rank 7 Huang He, even if it were a Rank 8 him, there was almost no possibility of surviving this [Judgnt]...
"Grand Sin Judgnt, guilty."
After Han ng finished reading all of Huang He's cris, he held the gavel in his left hand and raised his gun in his right. Standing at the highest point of the Tribunal, he aid the muzzle of judgnt at Huang He in the defendant's dock, like a Divine Being holding truth.
"No..." The fear of death climbed into Huang He's pupils. He struggled and shouted,
"I don't want to die... I finally made it to this step with great difficulty, I can't die here... If you let go, I can undo the Stealing Art on Chen Ling for him... I will definitely let him leave, and promise not to make enemies with you!!"
Han ng's brows furrowed slightly, but the raised muzzle showed no intention of lowering, instead remaining unmoved and continuing to lock onto Huang He.
"Thank you for your kind intentions." Chen Ling in the Great Crimson Theatrical Robe slowly spoke, "But I don't need you to undo the Stealing Art for , much less need you to let leave... A villain like won't trouble you, 'partner of justice', to worry."
Huang He was stunned, his face ashen as he looked up above...
The pitch-black muzzle was like an abyss, gazing into his eyes, denying his life;
"Your cris warrant dismbernt."
The mont Han ng coldly spat out these words, he pulled the trigger.
The trigger of judgnt was pulled, but didn't emit any sound. Huang He violently lowered his head, only to see that his own body was actually being rapidly sliced like peeling skin, from his fingers to his arms, and then to his torso...
He watched helplessly as his flesh and blood fell to the ground like mud. From a complete person, he beca a ground full of blood plasma. Unprecedented terror occupied his pupils!
"No..."
He subconsciously wanted to take a step forward. The next mont, both his feet were sliced and lted. His remaining head fell toward the earth, and with a light touch, shattered into over a hundred pieces like Glass.
Within a short two seconds, a Thief Saint had been sliced into tens of thousands of pieces of minced at right in front of everyone's eyes, thoroughly losing his life.
The nurous reporters in the seats even directly started retching and vomiting. After the judgnt ended, the power pressing on their bodies also vanished... At this mont, apart from disgust, they actually felt sowhat relaxed.
The reason they were sitting here was all because they were forced by Huang He. Now that Huang He was dead, they didn't have to forcefully write those reports, and their families and friends wouldn't have to suffer threats.
Chen Ling looked at that puddle of bloody mud that was Huang He, but felt nothing. He wasn't surprised at all by this Thief Saint's death.
Chen Ling himself also possessed the Tribunal. He could tell at a glance that Han ng's current Tribunal had undergone a Complete Transformation... The past Tribunal only exerted a function similar to an "execution", with the most obvious feature being the gun in Han ng's hand. But now, he had an additional "gavel" symbolizing order in his hand.
The "gavel" was used to create order, and the "gun" was used to execute sins. How much of a role these two could play within the Domain depended on how grave the sins of the defendant in court were... Han ng instantly killing Huang He this ti was not because Han ng was that strong, but because the sins on Huang He's body were too grave.
In the final analysis, everything was Huang He bringing it upon himself.
Regardless, the biggest threat, Huang He, was already dead, and he had also picked his life back up... Chen Ling let out a long sigh of relief in relaxation. Just as he was about to turn around and say sothing to Han ng, he suddenly froze in place.
After executing Huang He, the Tribunal didn't disappear;
Those reporters who had already stood up and were preparing to leave once again felt a terrifying Oppressive Aura, firmly pinning their figures to their seats... They looked at the center of the Tribunal in astonishnt, deep confusion in their eyes.
At the highest point of the Tribunal,
Han ng slightly tilted his head, his gaze locking onto Chen Ling who was draped in the Great Crimson Theatrical Robe... His eyes narrowed slightly.
The next mont,
The "defendant's dock" rose up in front of Chen Ling.
