Chapter 477: Chapter 275: Double David Bond_3

Albena stood aside, nodding quietly to herself.

She admitted that initially wanting to join this team was indeed a spur-of-the-mont decision when she first saw Gauss.

But after the display of abilities yesterday and subsequent interactions, she gradually realized that this team was sowhat extraordinary.

Especially Gauss, who didn’t quite seem like an elite professional; he felt more like a master-level professional not much weaker than her.

And now, the silent, almost invisible black-haired girl also revealed her unique abilities.

With her vision, she could naturally see the value of a scouting profession with such innate abilities.

The help that the black-haired girl brought to the team was far beyond what a regular level 5 wanderer could provide.

Moreover, their cooperation was quite skilled.

No wonder they had the confidence to take on such a mission.

Silently, her evaluation of this team was rising.

"Let’s take a break for a while."

Gauss and the other two had already retreated to a shady spot under a nearby tree. Seeing that Albena was lost in thought and hadn’t followed, he waved her over, speaking up.

Albena turned her head to look at Gauss under the tree.

In the shade, that handso face remained flawless.

She quickly put on a smile.

"Coming."

However, indeed, the most attractive thing about this team to her was the handso guy.

Apart from Ying, who had gone scouting, Aaliyah’s Raven Aik was also circling in the sky with its raven brothers to gather intelligence.

Once they spotted any signs of monsters on the ground, they would report back to them.

"Lord Gauss, are you hungry?"

Albena sat across from Gauss.

She produced a fragrant pastry from sowhere.

Gauss shook his head.

"Thanks, not hungry yet."

They had eaten breakfast before setting off.

Albena quietly put it away.

Serdur watched this scene, belatedly looking at this temporary teammate.

Is Albena possibly interested in the captain....

Not sure, need to observe more?

...

Brenan Mine, deep underground.

In a "plaza" remodeled from a massive natural do, mineral dust filled the air.

Above, faint light descended from the walls where vast expanses of glowing moss grew.

The glow of the moss enveloped the entire space in an eerie twilight.

A group of rough-scaled, fierce-eyed Kobold warriors, holding sharp pickaxes and short spears, were practicing in a disciplined manner.

Accompanied by hoarse, rhythmic shouts from their throats, their movents were fairly orderly.

At least, they were not comparable to ordinary rabble.

A few elite Kobolds, adorned with trophy bone ornants symbolizing their status and holding burning candles, stood around the edge of the plaza talking in low voices.

Their scarlet eyes, gleaming with intellect, vigilantly scanned the surroundings, occasionally issuing sharp commands to adjust the formation of the practicing troops.

In the distance, densely packed, beehive-like primitive caves were carved into the rock walls.

So weaker Kobolds erged from these nests in lines, heading towards the dark tunnels leading to deeper pits.

They passed by primitive furnaces spewing black smoke and sparks.

There, so special Kobold artisans were clanging as they worked the extracted ores.

The mined ore would be rough-processed into tals.

An artisan used a coarse tong to extract a red-hot tal billet, placing it aside to cool.

The scorching flas caused the sweat on its scales to evaporate instantly, yet this diligent creature seed oblivious.

During this brief rest, its gaze, like that of its companions, involuntarily turned towards the deepest part of the nest, eyes filled with reverence and fanaticism.

There was the "master" to whom they were willing to dedicate their lives!
