The story Dragon God told started focusing more and more on the conflict between her and those two gods. Every ti she got a signal that a dragon was in danger, she would run over to stop them. Slaughter God and Martial God, when they saw her, would run away instead of fighting.

It wasn’t because the two of them combined couldn’t beat her, but because it was too much effort. Just for one al, there was no need to waste that much energy on such a risk.

Dragon God just kept on like that, like a superhero appearing everywhere to protect ’endangered animals’ until one day...

Martial God and Slaughter God suddenly got smarter. They thought of a new way to catch dragons, which was to catch them in two areas extrely far apart. That way, no matter how fast Dragon God was, she could only choose to save one dragon.

"Damn it, you tell , aren’t those two bastards assholes? Relying on the fact that they had each other, they bullied for being all alone."

Rembering how those two gods tricked her into running back and forth, and every ti she still ended up losing a dragon, she got furious. The veins on her forehead bulged, her teeth grinding together making an extrely piercing screech.

"That’s right, they’re total bastards. How can gods be so shaless? It’s completely disgraceful to the gods; they totally deserve it."

Michael enthusiastically agreed with her words. If soone suddenly walked by at that mont, they’d think the two of them were on the sa side, and not be able to imagine that Michael had almost been beaten unconscious just a mont ago.

Dragon God nodded, very satisfied. If Michael were a dragon, he’d definitely beco her trusted underling, but his identity had too many issues, so it was unforgivable.

She continued telling about the tis she was tricked into running around for who knows how long until she finally thought of a solution. She gathered all the dragons together and told them to hide in the center of the Ancient Forest.

Calling it a counterasure sounded impressive, but actually everyone understood this was an act of running away. The dragons in that era naturally understood this, and they couldn’t accept it. Dragons were the pinnacle existences below the gods on the continent. Telling them to just hide in that place was, in a way, an insult. Dragons could die, but they could not be humiliated like that.

Just like that, one group after another secretly snuck out. The result, without needing to think, was that whichever ones snuck out, Slaughter God and Martial God caught them. Going into a lair packed with that many dragons was too troubleso, but catching a few individual ones was still doable.

Dragon God was also extrely troubled by this matter. Compared to others, she of course understood dragons better. She knew dragons were inherently very arrogant because they had the ability to back it up. Normally speaking, she didn’t even need to manage them, they could still live just fine. But now there were two crazy bastards with godly power hunting dragons, so she couldn’t just leave the dragons be.

So pissed off, she directly went to find those two and fought them. This battle turned a huge area into a complete ss. The outco was also nowhere near decided because Dragon God was definitely at a disadvantage. Of course, if she wanted to run, she could still easily escape because Slaughter God and Martial God never had any intention of killing her at all costs.

Ti passed like that, and the dragon race gradually dwindled. For so reason, this world didn’t give birth to any new dragons, which made Dragon God extrely sad. At that ti, she could only pay attention to the strongest dragons, using force to make them stay by her side.

Because the dragon race was getting sparser, among her subordinates appeared many other races of energy monsters. Although these energy monsters were a bit inferior to dragons, the gap wasn’t too big, so Dragon God could reluctantly accept it.

Then ca the day when the living beings on that continent had completed their evolution into humanity, all the gods could sense it. Only then did they realize that this was the ’main character’ chosen by the world, not the dragon race.

Dragon God also understood why no more dragons appeared, and moreover, those energy monsters nearly as strong as dragons also gradually diminished. It turned out everything was to give humanity space to develop, because at that ti they couldn’t survive against such powerful existences.

The things that followed got even more excessive. Because gods have infinite lifespans, their perception of ti is very different from humanity’s. Not long after, they discovered that humanity had produced two gods, one on the continent and one on a faraway island, respectively called Sun God and Sea God.

One day, the two of them together invaded Dragon God’s domain. What surprised her was that they ca here not to cause trouble, but to cooperate. They wanted to borrow her strength and that of these powerful energy monsters to surround and kill Slaughter God and Martial God.

This matter actually ca about by chance. If humanity had appeared at the ti when dragons were still rampant, they naturally wouldn’t have cooperated with her, but would have done the opposite.

Because of the constant hunting and killing of dragons, Dragon God had tried to keep the dragons and powerful energy monsters inside the center of the Ancient Forest. Because of that, these powerful creatures didn’t destroy human villages, which made the human gods feel favorably towards her.

Conversely, those two guys didn’t care about humanity at all. Even though humanity was the main character of this world, gods have their own responsibilities. Because of that, they unintentionally killed quite a few people due to their size and the massive destructive power they caused.

For that reason, Sun God and Sea God were determined, even if they had to risk their lives, to destroy Slaughter God and Martial God.

Dragon God, who had originally been alone and isolated, suddenly felt like she had teammates and was overjoyed. Those two had been bullying others by relying on their numbers, but now the tables had turned, her side had three gods, so they could bully those two gods now.

Of course, she happily agreed. She treated them as honored guests and entertained them. Because this was the first ti she was hosting guests, she took out all the things she liked to give to them. The things she liked were, of course, gold, silver, gems, and all the shiny things she found in the Ancient Forest.
