Leo heard Michael muttering about Raphael and looked around but didn’t spot anyone. He wasn’t too surprised because even after quite a long ti training, Raphael still only needed one hit to knock him out.
"How’s the drain? How long can you maintain the domain?"
"Hmm, let calculate... If I keep using it like I am now, probably a few hours. If I just use the domain without teleporting or fighting or anything, half a day is no problem."
Michael hesitated, calculating the drain level. Earlier, when he tried using domain expansion, he didn’t expect the drain to be this low.
Suddenly, a strange feeling appeared in his chest. Energy from outside, for so unknown reason, poured into his body, quickly reaching his current limit. There was no pain, only anticipation and a comfortable feeling.
"Am I breaking through?"
He sensed the energy in his body slowly increasing. Although his basic muscular strength didn’t change, thanks to that energy, his endurance and the duration he could use the domain increased significantly.
"Breaking through what?"
Leo didn’t understand for a mont. For three months, they had only been training to build a sufficient foundation for using domain expansion. Without cultivating, what kind of breakthrough is this? Could it be that god-tier talent in cultivation also has an auto-cultivate function but the speed is pretty slow?
Michael closed his eyes tight, assisting the energy constantly increasing in his body to break the current limit. After a few seconds, he opened his eyes; breaking through to level one wasn’t really that difficult anyway.
"I’ve reached level one now. It seems using the domain also helps the body activate so chanism to level up. Like a little gift for newcors when they achieve their first accomplishnt."
He didn’t feel it was due to any accumulation over the past six months. Earlier, clearly according to the domain and his body’s senses, it was because external energy poured in. And level one’s energy level is low, absorbing it only took a few seconds before he broke through.
"You can do it like this? Can you keep leveling up?"
Michael carefully sensed his body and his surroundings, then noticed the energy in nature now couldn’t be bothered to voluntarily pour into his body anymore. Now, to increase his level, he could only cultivate the normal way.
"Nope, it only goes up to level one then there’s no more energy entering the body." He shook his head and replied.
Leo also nodded his head to show that this was reasonable. If just using domain expansion could level you up, then what’s the point of cultivating?
"Does your domain have any other abilities you haven’t shown yet? Show them all now. If not, then it’s my turn."
"Each domain only has one unique special ability. You want to just make up another one?"
Michael’s mouth twitched, clearly both he and Leo knew about this before, yet Leo asked such a nonsense question. At the sa ti, he also retrieved his own domain. He also wanted to see what Leo’s special ability was.
"Good, watch perform."
Leo imdiately turned into his Big Panda form and then instantly clasped his two hands together, his gaze focused, his spirit concentrated.
Domain Expansion – Chaotic World!
In that mont, the domain instantly covered a fifty-ter radius. Taking Leo’s position as the center, two streams of energy, one white one black, blended together like a vortex spreading throughout the domain.
The two of them didn’t use an immobile domain, apart from the large energy drain, also because a radius ten tis larger would bring an enormous amount of information. Maintaining a mobile domain was pretty much their current limit.
The domain’s effect imdiately acted on Michael, making his eyes go wide, his face endlessly astonished. He felt his feet seed to no longer touch the ground, and moreover, they were getting farther from the ground.
"What the hell is this? Gravity’s gone? No, wait, why am I flying higher and higher?"
Michael was bewildered, not knowing how to actively stabilize his body in this weird domain. Before he could do anything, he felt a powerful force pulling him to fall back to the ground.
"How does it feel? My domain is called Chaotic World. I can arbitrarily control the gravity inside it."
Leo was proud, tilting his face toward the sky as he introduced it, seeing Michael’s helpless deanor when facing his special ability. Speaking of which, he felt his ability was even better than Michael’s.
"Huh? Is this reasonable? I rember I told you about gravitational force. How can gravity change direction all over the place without following any rules like that?"
Michael wasn’t so profound scholar or anything, but basically he still understood a little. Gravity changing direction arbitrarily like that, he thought about it but couldn’t comprehend it no matter what.
"Hmph, then you explain to the chanism of how you can instantly swap the positions of two objects in your domain." Leo let out a snort.
"Uh, ha ha..."
Michael laughed awkwardly. Indeed, he had no way to explain it. His body just told him he could do it that way.
"The domain is originally a type of skill that doesn’t follow logic, belonging to gods. Within their own domain, a god always has so strange rule. You have one about swapping positions, I have one about gravity."
Explaining it this way, Michael didn’t know how to refute it either, so he could only nod in agreent. It was true, both domains were just too damn illogical.
Then looking at the space around again, Michael felt his head seed to be getting increasingly dizzy. Of course not so severe as to actually faint, just an unpleasant feeling. His gaze focused on the white and black energy streams drifting within the domain.
"Can your domain make people’s heads dizzy?"
Leo frowned, he didn’t think this was a direct effect but rather an indirect one. He paused for a mont to carefully observe what was happening in the domain.
"Not exactly like that. Actually, my domain isn’t really like creating gravity. Gravity doesn’t actually disappear, but I can temporarily change its direction. This chaotic process causes a bit of an unpleasant sensation for the body, but if you use energy to protect your body, you won’t feel uncomfortable anymore."
