Michael was now draped in an extrely tily Arabic-style outfit. He was in a small room with most necessary things, but the problem was everything was made of copper. Even the mirror was copper, reflecting nothing clearly.

"Damn it! How many days has it been? That genie guy was locked up here the whole ti without going crazy?"

He cursed helplessly, looking at the space with only one copper color. The more he looked, the more tense his nerves beca, and with no other sounds, it was driving him insane.

[Ding! The support system is here.]

[Have you adapted to your new life these past few days?]

[Is the life full of magic and endless adventure satisfying you?]

The system’s sound rang out, a blue screen appearing before him. Fireworks were even shooting on the screen as if to congratulate his new life.

Michael’s face darkened, his teeth grinding together with a creaking sound. Satisfied? Haha...

"I’m... I’m satisfied, my ass!" He raised his middle finger full of ’love’ towards the screen.

"Do you know how I’ve lived these past few days? Fuck, staying here any longer and I’ll go crazy."

He had endured enough these past few days—no food, no water, and his current body had no sensations either. The reason he could tell ti was because there was a clock in the room, a strange thing with no battery, no electricity, made of 100% copper but still running nonstop.

Sleeping was even more impossible, he was always in a state of complete alertness no matter how much ti passed. He couldn’t even tell now whether he was a person or had beco a ghost.

This silent, monochro space tortured both his vision and hearing. It was just lucky the outfit after becoming a genie was quite colorful. Otherwise, he wouldn’t know what to look at anymore.

Hey, don’t be angry. Usually it only takes a few days to wait here. At most a month.]

[I wants you to experience and understand that if you die while fulfilling a wish for soone else, you’ll have to wait in this place for a thousand years.]

As soon as the system’s words ended, Michael felt sothing was wrong. The bright future he had imagined had sohow turned into a bottomless black hole.

"Is there any way for to escape here permanently?" Michael asked, he really didn’t want to be a genie for another single day.

[Yes, which is for soone else to make a wish like you did.]

Feeling a bit of hope, Michael didn’t think he was the only person who thought like that. Smart people like him were not lacking in the world, he would definitely find one soon.

"When was the person before ? How many years ago?"

[According to stored data, you are the first person to choose this. After all, this is the kind of genie with not much power, others usually don’t want to be.]

Michael’s face darkened once again. That’s right, deities who could snap their fingers to grant wishes—there was no shortage of people wanting to beco one. But who would want to beco the kind of deity who had to do everything personally and, if accidentally killed, would be imprisoned here for a thousand years?

The more he thought, the more he felt the previous genie had extraordinary will and perseverance.

"What was the previous genie like? Why did he beco a genie?"

[He was born together with this lamp and can be considered the first-generation genie. He wasn’t truly human so it’s hard to compare, as the thinking is not the sa.]

Michael now wanted to curse that previous genie to death, clearly there were so many horrible things yet he didn’t warn him.

[You don’t need to be so discouraged, it’s very hard to die. After all, the genie has pretty good luck, if you die it can only be because of stupidity.]

Michael felt the system was subtly insulting him but he had no proof. But thinking about it, it was true, after all, a deity logically shouldn’t die easily.

"So when will I leave here?"

[The system has confird the next destination—Sun & Moon Continent. A fantasy world where humans can beco contractors to possess power rivaling gods.]

Hearing the system’s introduction, the weariness in Michael’s eyes brightened. Wasn’t this an opportunity for him to truly gain power?

"Wait, so the abilities I gain from this place, can I keep them? If every ti I move houses I lose the power, what’s the point of trying?"

If it really was like that, wouldn’t it be like every ti leveling up a ga RPG character to full level and gear, then having to delete it and create a new character?

[Rest assured, the system will not give you any abilities for free. Whatever you want, you can study and strive for it yourself. Of course, there are limits, except for your own strength, you can only bring one item each ti you switch worlds.]

Michael nodded, satisfied. Treasures or sothing like that weren’t very useful to him now, but power and authority he definitely had to obtain. Otherwise, he didn’t feel like a deity at all.

"Are there any precautions for going to another world? I have no experience."

This upcoming trip wasn’t a joke, it could actually be deadly. If he died, he’d be locked up in this weird place for a thousand years.

[Here are so notes left by the previous generation genie.]

[1. Without real strength, don’t act tough with others.]

[2. As long as you don’t seek death, you won’t die.]

[3. Pray that the wish will be simple.]

"Huh???"

Each of these three sentences sounds unreliable when read. Talking round and round ends up saying nothing, completely unhelpful.

"In short, it depends on luck?" Michael glared at the system.

[You’re not wrong, it heavily depends on luck. If you encounter a simple person wishing for a al or sothing of that difficulty level, then it’ll be over in a flash. After that, it’s a leisurely trip where you can choose to leave anyti.]

"Alright, let’s depart quickly. I don’t believe a genie like is an unlucky guy." Michael smirked, a person who goes to the antique market and buys a genie can’t possibly be unlucky.
