If Michael still couldn’t figure out that Cook God was actually the ’villain’ at this point, then his brain really was for planting trees. He’d been suspicious of Cook God’s murderous, vicious face from the start. You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but that’s for judging humans, and this guy ain’t one.

"So back then, you were humanity’s enemy?"

Looking at Cook God’s current deanor and attitude, Michael figured he didn’t have any huge grudge against humanity. If there was a problem, it was probably a problem from back in the day.

"Enemy? Nah. Humans are tiny, I only liked killing giant creatures."

Cook God pouted, his face full of scorn for this nonsense accusation. Calling humanity his enemy was no different from saying ants are humanity’s enemy. No, at the sa size, normal humans are much weaker than ants.

"Ack... Then why did the human gods want to kill you so badly, even at the cost of their lives?"

Michael was montarily flustered by Cook God’s certainty. But if Cook God was truly innocent, it made no sense. A conflict so severe it’s life or death, how could that be a normal conflict?

"How to put it..." Cook God scratched his head, montarily unsure how to recount the old story.

"You can compare what I did back then to you accidentally stepping on a bunch of ants."

After saying this, Cook God secretly praised his own analogy. This way Michael would definitely understand.

He didn’t pay attention to Michael’s face, which had turned as black as a pot’s bottom. Even though he’s a genie now, in his heart he’s still human. Facing soone who treats humans like ants to be crushed, of course he wouldn’t feel happy.

But in the end, he just let out a sigh and didn’t do anything else. The difference in life level between Cook God and a normal human was too vast, just like his comparison.

How many tis have humans accidentally stepped on tiny creatures without even knowing? Countless tis, but you can’t say humans are evil. It’s all just coincidence, not the slightest bit intentional.

"Have you ever... felt guilty about this?"

Michael didn’t know what he was thinking, asking this question that made Cook God freeze stiff. This was the first ti soone had asked him this. Those two gods back then only ca to accuse him and Eat God, they didn’t ask nonsense like this.

"Guilty? Nah. I clearly had no intention. I was just running around, I was just hunting giant energy beasts? I never thought about killing humans but they stood under my feet, smaller than bushes, so how can you bla ?"

Cook God raised his head high, his words clearly not ashad of his true nature. He wasn’t wrong, at least about this he wasn’t wrong.

"And another thing, the tiny things in this world are plenty. You look like you co from a place where humans have lots of knowledge, so you know there exist super tiny things called bacteria, I think. I ask you, do you know how many bacteria you’ve killed? Do you feel guilty?"

Michael was left speechless, with no way to refute. Humans are life, so aren’t bacteria life? If destroying life is a sin, then killing bacteria or killing people isn’t that different.

"Let’s drop this, anyway it was settled tens of thousands of years ago. Whoever was supposed to die is already dead." Michael shook his head slightly.

This matter wasn’t his business anyway, and has nothing to do with this era. Whether it’s Cook God or Eat God, they’re both dead now, and this conflict died with them.

"Ah, I forgot to tell you sothing. Even after awakening you can cultivate, but before twelve years old you cannot reach level ten."

Cook God’s sudden statent made Michael dumbfounded. Just how high or low is level ten?

"What’s the maximum level?"

"One hundred. Ninety-nine is the human limit, one hundred is god."

Hearing this, Michael imdiately felt this was bad. Not being able to reach level ten ans no matter how terrifying his talent is, for the next six years he’ll still be a bottom among contractors.

This must be part of the world’s operational rules, and he doesn’t have much lifespan left to pay the price now, so he’ll just have to accept it.

"What about above that?" He asked curiously.

This question was based on his experience watching movies and reading stories back on Earth. In those endlessly milked works, there are only higher levels, no highest level.

"I don’t know, but by normal ans it can’t increase. If it could increase, then my strength wouldn’t have stayed the sa from birth till death."

"So what should I do? So I should just waste six years?"

Cook God thought for a mont and suddenly rembered sothing extrely important. With this thing, Michael’s six years wouldn’t be considered wasted.

"Not like that, within six years besides cultivating to the threshold of level ten, you have three things to do. That is to learn combat thods and battlefield reactions, learn how to use the energy inside your body according to your own will. Lastly and most importantly, you must master domain expansion. A domain is an area where you’ll have so buffs or special abilities that only soone with god-tier talent can have."

Hearing the last part, Michael imdiately understood. So the next six years wouldn’t be considered wasted either. Domain expansion sounded like an especially overpowered special skill.

Moreover, given its rarity, not many people on the continent know it exists. This is a perfect trump card that future enemies won’t have ti to guard against.

’Domain expansion is good, but except for practice ti, I shouldn’t use it often. A surprise attack works better than a predicted one. Plus, Leo probably has his own domain too. If the two can rge, just how strong would that be?’

The more Michael thought about it, the more excited he felt. Even though he hasn’t actually fought any enemies on this continent yet, he felt his future invincibility was coming soon.
