Michael’s head shake made Leo even more doubtful. From what he saw, this matter was completely unreasonable. Could an ordinary person who has been transmigrated from another world really be more special than a god crossing worlds?

"Try again. What if there was a mistake?" he said, bringing a try-your-luck attitude.

Michael’s expression was extrely ugly. Could this kind of problem even have a mistake? If the world’s rules really had sothing called a mistake, the apocalypse would have co long ago.

"No need to try again. If the rules allowed it, I would have felt it the mont I touched it. Now we can only rely on you."

Anyway, the Leo that Michael had observed these past few years seed exactly like a main character. If so kind of miracle happened, he wouldn’t be too surprised.

Following a main character with a personality like Leo wasn’t bad. Even though the future likely ant an early death, along the way he’d probably get no shortage of benefits.

Leo fell silent for a mont, his gaze directed at the image of the circle with its complex patterns. He was from the poorly educated crowd, having only learned a bit since the revolution, but was illiterate before that. Drawing was sothing he had never touched.

"If this thing is drawn wrong, will it still work?"

Hearing Leo’s tone, Michael imdiately felt the situation was a bit off. But he himself didn’t seem to be much better.

"Can’t you draw it?"

"Not exactly, it’s just that it definitely won’t be as pretty as this. I don’t know if the effect will disappear because of it or not."

"Screw it, you won’t know if you don’t try. How about drawing it a bit bigger so it’s easier to adjust? Anyway, we don’t have any good tools here."

After saying that, Michael went to break a tree branch into two small pieces to use as pens. He planned to draw directly on the ground since Raphael had said drawing on anything was fine.

"Oh, I forgot to ask what happens to this piece of paper when the awakening ritual is completed. What if it disappears, catches fire, or sothing similar?" Michael mumbled.

Then he looked down at the ground. Now that the scrap of paper was replaced by the ground, how would this world calculate that? If it disappears, does the whole continent disappear or the whole planet?

But the thought had just flashed through his mind when he imdiately dismissed it. There was no way the effect could be that exaggerated. He didn’t believe no one had ever drawn that symbol on the ground before.

"What’s so important about that? Just draw it and you’ll know. Anyway, we’ve already died once, dying again is nothing to be unfamiliar with."

Leo took a piece of branch and started drawing again based on the image. Though he’d never drawn before, his body control was relatively good. His hand didn’t shake so the lines weren’t too ssy.

Of course, lines not being ssy didn’t an there were no mistakes. This circle was like a matrix tangled with different elents, making it hard to copy perfectly on the first try. Each ti he made a mistake, fixing it was relatively simple, just cover the drawn line with dirt and everything returns to how it was.

Michael on the other side also started drawing. The situation... was much worse than Leo’s.

Before, when he was in school, he had also taken art class. It’s just his drawing ability was too ’abstract’. To put it bluntly, it wasn’t any kind of art, just lines going nowhere.

Letting him draw freely was still ’okay’, but having him copy sothing was a different story. His eyes looked one way, his hand drew another. The two cooperated like wearing only one high heel – extrely clumsy and awkward.

He scratched a curved line on the ground – that curve was partly curved, partly straight. He wrote ancient script on the circle – looking at this, he was ’misspelling’.

If Leo occasionally covered a line with dirt, Michael was on a completely different level. Drawing ten tis, he had to erase nine.

"F*ck!"

A helpless curse rang out from an ’artistic genius’. Michael threw away the branch, sat in a corner using his finger to draw circles on the ground, then pouted.

If you can’t do it, just don’t do it. After trying for a while just now, he understood even if he had a week, a month, he still couldn’t copy it.

"You... where’s your will? A revolutionary never gives up. Get up and keep drawing for now."

Faced with Leo’s demand, Michael, who at so point had beco disabled, seed to have gone deaf. He could hear all sounds, just not human speech.

Leo’s face darkened but he didn’t say anything more. Looking at that patch of empty ground that had been drawn and covered hundreds of tis. Even if Michael could finish it, who knew what day that would be?

There was no clock here, so the ti wasn’t clear. But after an estimated few hours, the drawing was nearly complete.

Leo was about to press the branch down to draw the final line but then a strange phenonon occurred. Whether it was a coincidence or sothing was interfering, he kept drawing off course. Just one small line, but he tried dozens of tis without success.

’Weird.’

He frowned, then suddenly froze; the feeling from before had appeared again. But this ti sothing was different, he could actually open his eyes.

Looking around, he saw nothing except for two vague strings. Those two strings were long with no end in sight. One was tied to his body from behind, the other floated in front of him. His body now wasn’t like normal but was his pre-death body in a hazy, energy-like form.

’What on earth is going on?’

He tried to figure out what these things ultimately represented. Anchored behind... beckoning in front... So that’s it!

’I’m not a native. My past is tied to another world.’

He looked towards the beckoning string in front, but the distance was too far. No matter how he reached, he couldn’t touch it.

’Is there really nothing else around?’

Feeling that using this body’s strength was basically useless, Leo looked around to see if he had missed anything.

Suddenly, a small point of light appeared right beside him. The point of light gradually grew and transford into the shape of a child identical to him.
