Yaha took a few steps back, pointing the gun at Baphot, unsure of what to say at the mont.
Baphot telepathically communicated, "Don’t be nervous, I’m just... tired of eating those things, wanted to try sothing different."
Yaha clutched his heart, a surge of anger, fear, sorrow, and confusion overwheld him. It took him a while to regain composure before he rebuked, "Did he allow you to eat the people from the hotel?!! She’s from Starbucks!!"
Baphot shook the fur on its body and telepathically said, "Hey hey, no need for such a big reaction, right? This kind of person is di a dozen. The real trouble is just dirtying the floor, gotta call soone to clean up. Besides, people in this hotel have seen this sort of thing before, if it happened to them, they would understand."
"This is different, Baphot, different!! You can’t eat the people from your hotel!!" Yaha shouted loudly.
"Keep your voice down... What is he going to tell those kids if they see like this?" Baphot said.
"You... wait a minute..." Yaha pulled out his cell phone and dialed Rada Gan’s number.
As the black sheep saw him making a call, it nonchalantly continued gnawing on the head of the Starbucks girl, with half already eaten and the other half remaining.
"Yaha?" Rada Gan answered the call.
"Co to Wei Tianyang’s room... quick... quick!" Yaha urged.
Without further words, after a short while, Rada Gan and Zhao Ling also appeared at the door.
Rada Gan walked to the door, glanced at Baphot, then at Yaha holding a gun, and even laughed, "You’ve never been this worked up before... damn..."
He stopped mid-sentence when he finally realized what Baphot was gnawing on; until then, he had thought it was a cake.
"What’s going on?"
Zhao Ling’s voice ca from outside the door, she had been fetched by Rada Gan and was still in her fitness swimsuit.
As she got to the door and saw Rada Gan’s surprised expression, she braced herself.
"Damn... how do we handle this..." Rada Gan was also dumbfounded.
Zhao Ling walked into the room, seeing Starbucks lying headless by the bed and the black sheep gnawing on her head. Despite the grueso scene before her, she remained expressionless—after all, she had seen her fair share of such incidents.
"Baphot, do you think he will forgive you?!" Yaha said.
"Oh, co on, you’re making a mountain out of a molehill. I just wanted to see what humans taste like... after all, I was sick of cakes and bread," Baphot telepathically said.
Yaha covered his forehead, at a loss for words. Rada Gan looked at the two of them and asked, "What did it say?"
"It doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with eating people from the hotel..." Yaha said.
"Tell it, Yaha, tell it not to eat the people from the hotel, especially the staff! If it really wants to eat, I can bring people in from outside..." Rada Gan said calmly.
"It can hear you," Yaha said.
"Oh, this blond butler knows what he’s doing. Look, Yaha, I’ve been carrying you around for so ti now, why don’t you get ? Tell the butler, no need to bring people in for to eat. I just have a feeling that, like the long-horned ones, I might be able to absorb others’ mories. I tried it and discovered it’s true, that’s all there is to it, Yaha. Look how scared you are! Ha! To , this isn’t a big deal, but if you ask , every person’s taste is different. This little girl was just too bitter. I think you’re bitter too, but perhaps not quite the sa as her. She’s like traditional dicine, while you, more similar to coffee," Baphot telepathically communicated.
"Yaha, did it say anything?" Rada Gan asked anxiously.
By now, Zhao Ling, who had remained silent for a while, grew impatient, "Get soone here to clean up quickly; this room looks like a murder scene... Well, it is the cri scene. I don’t want to stay in the sa room as that sheep."
"Prepare a separate room for it, Rada Gan," Yaha, having regained his composure, turned around and holstered his pistol.
Rada Gan shook his head and took out his cellphone to contact the staff.
Yaha also took out his phone, hesitating as he looked at Wei Tianyang’s number.
At this ti, Baphot ran over to Yaha’s side, nuzzling his thigh affectionately and endlessly telepathic whispering, "Yaha~ Yaha~ don’t be mad anymore. Didn’t we always get along before? You’ve always watched eat, it’s no different now. I absolutely won’t bite you, rest assured. How about we go for a walk in the park this afternoon? The sun’s just right today, not too hot. Let’s go to that lake you used to love, how about that?"
Yaha looked at Baphot, whose mouth was still full of blood, and decided to call Wei Tianyang.
"..."
Though the call connected, there was no sound from the other side at first. After a few seconds, he heard the roar of fierce winds, and then Wei Tianyang’s voice ca through.
"Yaha! I’m in the stratosphere! The wind is a bit strong up here, why the sudden call? What’s happened?" Wei Tianyang shouted.
Yaha rushed out of the door and returned to his own room, his footsteps echoing in the corridor.
"Oh .... you beast, now you’re in for it, she’s gone to Wei Tianyang to tattle on you." Zhao Ling smiled as she gazed at the black sheep.
At this mont, the cleaners had arrived, not from the housekeeping departnt, but Quigui Ge and another bodyguard.
It was better that the logistics departnt didn’t know about this.
With his forehoof, Baphot kicked Starbucks’ head to one side and paced to the side of the bed, flopping down with crossed legs, tilting his head back and opening his mouth wide, as if about to yawn.
"When I return tonight, I don’t want to see it in my room anymore," Zhao Ling said.
After speaking, she too left the room.
Now, the room had only Rada Gan and Baphot left, along with Quigui Ge and the bodyguard cleaning up the corpse.
Rada Gan’s face was somber as he glanced at the door, walked over to the black sheep, crouched down, and stroked its head.
Evening ca, and Starbucks heard noises from Wei Tianyang’s room.
He imdiately rushed out to the door of the room.
He saw a slight opening, with Baphot drinking from a water bucket, while Wei Tianyang squatted to one side cleaning the bloodstains from its fur.
Upon seeing him return, Yaha pushed the door and entered, but hesitated to speak.
Wei Tianyang turned to look at him, a smile appearing on his face.
"Wei... it... it..." Yaha couldn’t bring himself to say it.
"I know, I know," Wei Tianyang said.
Seeing Wei Tianyang’s calm deanor only confused Yaha more.
"Starbucks is gone... do you know that?" Yaha asked.
"Of course, I know. It told ," Wei Tianyang stroked Baphot’s head.
"But you..." Yaha, standing in front of the man and the sheep, suddenly felt like the one who had done sothing wrong.
"Yaha, you... you don’t really think Baphot is just a sheep, do you?" Wei Tianyang asked.
He didn’t expect Wei Tianyang to ask such a question and stood there stunned.
"Don’t be so distant, you and Baphot are so familiar with each other, it shouldn’t have co to this," Wei Tianyang said with a smile.
"Wei Tianyang, it ate Starbucks. That’s what it told you, right?" Yaha trembled as he spoke.
"Yes, it ate Starbucks, that’s exactly what it said. Look, I’ve cleaned it already. You don’t need to be so nervous now, right? I understand that having blood on its fur is indeed quite dirty, and I can understand your reaction," Wei Tianyang nodded.
"No, no! You’ve misunderstood! Wei Tianyang! The one who died is Starbucks!" Yaha exclaid.
"But Yaha, Starbucks is just a na. I can find you another one, but Baphot, there’s only one of it. Shouldn’t you be valuing it more?" Wei Tianyang said, puzzled.
