Wei Tianyang put down the thick book in his hand and looked out the window, where it was already afternoon light.

For a mont, he had sensed sothing unusual, but it had quickly returned to normal.

It seed like ti had slipped away right under his eyes for a brief mont, but the clock told him that there was nothing wrong with ti.

Baphot’s faint voice buzzed in his mind, then it extinguished, and he walked to the window, opened it, and peered out to gaze at the street. There was nothing unusual happening on the street; pedestrians and vehicles were orderly. The rising aroma of milky coffee from the café downstairs and the bustling noise and countless thoughts in his mind played like a symphony.

He closed the window, turned around, and walked back to his desk, hearing the clatter of Baphot’s little hooves in the hallway.

Just as before, they had returned, and Wei Tianyang sat back down in his chair and opened his laptop.

In the past, Baphot would have gone straight to the carpet to lie down and sleep for a while, or use its horn to open the fridge door to find yogurt and fruit tea, or watch cartoons on TV with Yaha.

But today, it moved closer to Wei Tianyang, continuously nudging his arm with its nose.

"Longhorn, longhorn," Baphot telepathically communicated.

"What’s the matter? I thought I sensed you calling earlier, but your voice was too low. What are you trying to do?" Wei Tianyang asked.

"Don’t bla it, as a goat, it has done well enough," Yaha walked to Wei Tianyang’s other side and naturally placed a hand on his shoulder, speaking softly.

Wei Tianyang shivered.

He imdiately turned his head to look at Yaha, their eyes eting, as if their gazes had fused together.

His lips curved slightly upward, and Yaha closed her eyes, bowed her head, and smiled coyly, saying, "Thanks for taking care of during this ti."

"Ya..." Wei Tianyang was about to speak when Yaha put a finger against his lips.

"I know you have a lot to say, but before that... please change this dress I’m wearing into sothing more decent," Yaha said.

Half an hour later, Yaha was sitting by the window, dressed in black n’s suit trousers and brown leather shoes, a white shirt on his upper body, and his long hair also cut short to below the jawline.

Yaha took a sip of coffee, sighed deeply, and said, "Ah, I’ve co back to life."

"What does it feel like, Yaha? You said you rember everything?" Wei Tianyang asked.

He sat by the desk, looking at Yaha in the sunlight, now his deanor was just like when they were first in Qiayang City, not at all girlish, instead like a handso young man.

"It’s a strange feeling, like there are two of ... One of was asleep but also wasn’t, having a lucid dream, eyes open, watching the other ... I could hear what she heard, feel what she felt, and see what she saw. Now, I’ve woken up, and she has gone to sleep; she also has beco a precious part of . Yishenmali... you’ve taken good care of her, thank you," Yaha said.

"You took care of , so I took care of you. You still rember Zhao Ling, right?" Wei Tianyang said.

Both looked towards Zhao Ling, who was sleeping on a soft cushion.

"I rember, I know about your relationship. When you were not around, she took great care of too. She shared many of her troubles with —her pain, worries, desires, and anger. She might have felt that version of was the only one she could confide in, I just never thought... She would end up in the sa dead-end as I." Yaha said.

"Regardless of everything, Yaha, welco back. There’s always a place for you in this hotel," Wei Tianyang said.

"Rada Gan has managed this place well. I don’t think you really need here as a second butler. It feels like I wandered around in Hell and then was pulled up by a hand. There must be a reason for this... You’ve changed a lot as well. I’ve seen everything you’ve done, I know, you’re no longer the sa Yishenmali as before," Yaha said.

"The world has changed, Yaha. You haven’t co out from Hell; it’s , and this hotel, we’ve jumped into Hell too. Yaha, the stars in the sky are all enemies of mankind. The chaos in the world is no different from before, the only change now is that mankind has ," Wei Tianyang said.

"So, you plan to be the savior?" Yaha asked with a smile.

"Without the guidance of gods, mankind will head toward extinction. I shall be their king," Wei Tianyang said.

The door was knocked and then gently opened. Rada Gan and Helena Mina stood at the door, giving a slight bow to them.

"Ah, Rada Gan, Helena, co over, sit by my side, don’t be so distant," Yaha said with a smile.

They walked through the door, Helena Mina gently closed the room door, she now looked to be in her early forties, dressed in a proper business suit, her head full of shoulder-length blonde hair after her white hair had fallen out.

Wei Tianyang drew a circle in the air, and the coffee pot automatically poured coffee into a mug, then floated towards them.

"Yaha, I’m glad that you... are well," Rada Gan said with a smile.

"My na is Helena Mina, I’m very pleased to truly et you," Helena Mina also said.

"I have always been observing you, and now, at last, I have the chance to talk to you," Yaha said with a smile.

"As a boy or as a girl?" Rada Gan asked.

"Gods do not need genders, Rada Gan. If this world is Hell, then we still have much to do," Yaha chuckled.

"You are right, we’ve been planning this for a long ti," Helena Mina said.

"This world is not what you think it is, the universe is a man-made concept, and we humans are just living in the least noticeable Chapter of a grand narrative; those losers who fell into our Chapter should have drawn the attention of the entire world, should have sparked a new round of cosmic exploration fervor, but now, the whole world is researching the military potential of Heavenly Falling Objects, still studying how to kill each other more efficiently; the stars are watching, we need to quicken our pace," Wei Tianyang said.

"It really is a moral decline; I had originally planned to set up a superpower PMC, yet now the whole world is filled with Black dicine and neutralizers, to think of such things in 2106, I would not even dare," Yaha said with a laugh.

"They’re wasting resources and ti, Wei Tianyang has already integrated Johnny’s resources, once the drilling platform is completed, we’ll start researching a new type of Black dicine," Rada Gan said.

"I know you’re planning to create superhumans, but I think with the current research thods for Black dicine, it’s impossible to create them. Those..." Yaha pointed outside, "living food, could perhaps be used as a breakthrough."

"I didn’t see anything," Helena Mina said.

The three of them laughed.

"I think the sa way. Once those poor people start showing reactions, I’ll know the impact of these things on humans," Wei Tianyang said.

"Using people for experints... that wasn’t your style before," Yaha said.

"It’s a necessary sacrifice, for all of mankind," Wei Tianyang said darkly.
