In the conference hall, the Presidents were not very proactive in speaking, as they were all assessing the situation and watching each other.

On one hand, they feared provoking Wei Tianyang, and on the other, they were looking for a suitable entry point to test his bottom line.

Bound by the Presidents’ attitudes, the business and academic elites also refrained from speaking out.

After a long pause, a black President was the first to break the silence.

"I am Manepli, President of Casene in Heiside State and representative of the Chiefs’ Council," the President said.

"Since Heiside State does not have many seats in the Council and does not enjoy political status equal to that of other countries, I and my colleagues don’t know much about you."

"Our understanding of you depends entirely on so decrypted docunts recently made available to us by the United Council."

"There is no doubt, Mr. Wei Tianyang. You possess capabilities beyond our imagination, but I suspect that whether you can benefit the world or not, the outco, just like our marginal position in the Council, is irrelevant to us."

"You would reside in Yin Country or the Sethiyan Federation, enjoying privileges surpassing 99% of the people on this planet, using your powers to solve any problems for these superpowers."

Manepli had not finished speaking when Helena Mina interrupted him.

"Respected President Manepli, I don’t an to interrupt your complaints about the Council, but... Wei Tianyang’s ti is precious... ask directly what you want to ask." Helena Mina said with a smile.

"I have only two questions," said Manepli.

"Are you a Protector or a Destroyer?"

"Are you willing to use your superpowers to benefit developing countries and underdeveloped regions?"

Manepli asked.

He was dark as if he had just been dug up from underground, and Wei Tianyang, looking at him, could only see the whites of his eyes.

"Your concerns are unnecessary, President Manepli. Wei Tianyang can be both Protector and Destroyer. His powers will be used under the supervision and control of the Council to benefit countries around the world," Helena Mina answered on behalf of Wei Tianyang.

"I don’t want your answer, Madam Chair, I want this man to tell himself," Manepli said.

Helena Mina smiled insincerely, already displeased in her heart.

Wei Tianyang started to speak, but the words reached his lips and he swallowed them back.

"Good intentions shouldn’t co without a cost."

He rembered what Yaha had said.

A blurry clamor echoed in his mind, the sound of sothing rubbing against the air at high speed.

Wei Tianyang rubbed his brow, closed his eyes to listen, but then realized the sound was coming from inside his head, unconsciously captured by his superpower.

He tried to hear it more clearly, but the sound was fleeting and could no longer be heard.

"This is difficult," he blurted out.

Opening his eyes, Wei Tianyang saw Manepli’s disappointed expression.

"Do you an to say that you are unwilling to extend a helping hand to underdeveloped and developing countries?" Manepli asked.

Wei Tianyang crossed his legs and said in a deep voice, "I am not a nanny. If you want my help, you need to be worth it."

Zhao Ling laughed softly, looking down.

Manepli said, "You might as well speak plainly; you an to say that you only serve countries that can afford to pay and provide well, right?"

Wei Tianyang shook his head.

"Don’t overrule it, Mr. Wei Tianyang. I understand the difficulty of giving up your status given your humble origins, and I can understand whatever choice you make. After all, developing and underdeveloped countries are often neglected by the international community," Manepli stated.

Wei Tianyang sighed and said, "That was not my original intention."

He shifted his position before continuing, "Seeking help is not wrong, but many issues do not require my intervention."

"You claim you lack resources, yet from what I’ve seen, the resources you do possess, if utilized properly, should suffice to solve your problems."

"I’ve been to several states in Heisai, and I admit their developnt level does not compare to Yin Country and Sethiyan Federation; hunger and poverty remain the primary issues you need to address. However, the power you hold should be sufficient to tackle these issues."

"President Manepli, your people fish by the sea and delve into dangerous, filthy mines, working for decades, contracting pneumoconiosis. The inco they earn cannot even sustain a family, yet..."

"Leaders like you wear suits, live in mansions, and your cabinet mbers drive luxury cars, employ butlers and maids, living a life not much different from Steijie and Zhao Ling."

"The resources and power ant for problem-solving have already been squandered. Now, here you sit before , seeking my help."

"What can I do for you? What am I to protect for you? What am I to end for you?"

As Wei Tianyang spoke, Manepli trembled slightly.

"I can help you eradicate your political enemies, preserve your power and status, but would that hold any aning?" Wei Tianyang said with a smile.

Manepli was at a loss for words; he didn’t know how Wei Tianyang was aware of his standard of living.

In fact, Wei Tianyang did not know; he was rely making casual remarks based on what he had observed, yet these careless, full-of-holes lies left Manepli speechless.

"It seems President Manepli needs so ti to think this over," Helena Mina chuckled.

The other presidents looked at Manepli; they couldn’t laugh, and their expressions were sowhat grim.

At that mont, Zhao Ling raised her hand.

"Does the Emperor have sothing to say?" Helena Mina asked with a smile.

"Even living and working closely with him, I still have many questions," Zhao Ling stated.

She emphasized "living and working closely," causing many to glance sideways at her.

"Have you ever wondered if your abilities could be passed to your offspring through procreation?" Zhao Ling asked.

The conference hall imdiately stirred.

This question might initially seem indecent, but upon reflection, it gave everyone chills.

Wei Tianyang didn’t need a neutralizing agent, could absorb superpowers, and his connection with 091 had beco mysterious; the premise this question established was daunting: Wei Tianyang was no longer human.

Everyone turned their gaze toward Wei Tianyang, and the pharmaceutical CEOs looked even more earnest.

Wei Tianyang knew what they were thinking, but he couldn’t provide an answer.

"I don’t know," Wei Tianyang replied.

"Forgive my impudence, but I must ask a sowhat indecorous question," Rees raised his hand.

Helena Mina nodded.

"Wei, you’re 21, right? You should have the sexual desires of an adult man, shouldn’t you? In the years since you took Black dicine, have you engaged in any sexual activity?" Rees inquired.

No one laughed.

"This question is serious; I am not joking with you, nor trying to provoke you," Rees raised his hand.

Wei Tianyang was montarily at a loss for words; indeed, he hadn’t touched a woman in recent years.

Seeing Wei Tianyang’s embarrassed expression, Rees seed to seize an opportunity and continued, "Well, at least, I believe Yin Country provided you with above-standard private dical care. Do you have the normal physiological responses of a human male, like... morning erections?"
