Wei Tianyang desperately wanted to talk to them, but judging from the attitude of the deceased, it seed there was no space for communication.

He shouted across, "I can see you! Why not have a chat?"

The gunfire didn’t stop; the close-in weapon system started rotating, attempting to shatter him from close range.

Wei Tianyang, helpless, said, "This is the trouble you’ve brought upon yourselves."

As he finished speaking, he clenched his right fist; the bar-shaped patterns on his black arm emitted a faint glow, and a black radiance washed from his limb, enveloping the entire ship within it.

Just like in the Pei Guode Hotel, where he had absorbed the guerrilla fighters, the deceased on the ship twisted into black smoke, dragged from cracks in the deck and cabin doors, flying toward Wei Tianyang.

Their screams of pain and fear didn’t last long; the whole ship soon beca completely quiet.

Wei Tianyang pushed his gun out from his right arm, and with the nourishnt of new deceased, the gun now had a red dot scope attached.

The scope was a virtual image floating above the gun barrel, resembling an open-mouthed skull; looking through its mouth, one could see a small white dot.

Wei Tianyang retracted the gun, keeping vigilant. He climbed the stairs to the command tower and saw that the cabin was littered with various weapons and gear, while electronic equipnt and computers were still on.

Wei Tianyang spotted headphones near the radio and quickly walked up to put them on.

He only heard a female liaison officer in the headphones, attempting to contact the ship.

"Ship 13, respond if you hear this."

"This is Ship 13," said Wei Tianyang.

"Report your status? You ntioned a Superpower Special Forces mber who could also see us? Has he been killed?" the woman’s voice was calm.

"No," said Wei Tianyang.

The person on the other end seed to sense sothing, fell silent for a while, and then a man with a deep voice took over, "Can you tell who you are?"

"I also want to know who you are," said Wei Tianyang.

"It seems we have entered so kind of information predicant," the man chuckled.

"Yes, we both know the other won’t answer honestly," said Wei Tianyang.

"How about this, at least we tell each other our codenas, how’s that?" the man said.

"What’s the point of that?" Wei Tianyang said.

"Your ability to talk to ans my people have been taken care of by you," the man said.

"They were already dead," Wei Tianyang said.

"That’s precisely the issue, you’ve managed to kill the deceased and made enemies of them. We both know, this is just the beginning from now on. Leave your codena, we’ll have a chance to et in the future," the man said.

"Call Ishmael," said Wei Tianyang.

"Very well, very well... I am the Netherworld King," the man said.

"Who do you work for?" asked Wei Tianyang.

"That’s irrelevant to you, but I’ll rember you, Ishmael," the man said.

The communication was cut off at that point; Wei Tianyang took off the headset, looked around, and attempted to find information on the computers, but to no avail, so he simply destroyed all the electronic devices.

He had experience with contacting the deceased; the living and dead couldn’t directly communicate, and without soone like him to instruct them, they couldn’t affect the real world.

Having this kind of power could easily overturn the regi of a country.

"Netherworld King..." Wei Tianyang murmured to himself.

At that mont, his phone vibrated; he looked to see it was a call from Spencer.

"Wei? Our ship’s computer is back to normal, and the electronic compass and radar have regained functionality. I guess you’ve dealt with them," Spencer said.

"Spencer, who have you angered in the past? It’s just a business dispute, but the other party wouldn’t normally send a missile ship to deal with you," Wei Tianyang said.

"It’s a long story..." Spencer said.

"This issue is more serious than you think. You better not hide anything from . If we have ti, we need to have a private talk," Wei Tianyang said.

"Wei, don’t worry too much about this," Spencer tried to brush it off.

"Listen, Spencer, you don’t know what they sent to kill you. It’s not just a missile ship. All I can say is, you’re lucky to have with you today, otherwise, no one could’ve saved you," Wei Tianyang said with so anger.

He didn’t know how many people in the world could communicate with the dead, but the willingness to deploy such things against Spencer showed that the opponent was no small fry.

After hesitating for a mont, Spencer said in a low voice, "Alright, Wei, I promise you, but not now."

Wei Tianyang hung up the phone, walked onto the deck, and with a punch, struck the hull of the ship. Then, with a strong push from his left foot, he launched himself half a ter into the air.

Looking down at the sea below his feet, he watched the grey missile ship gradually disintegrate and disappear into the sea.

Transforming into a moth, Wei Tianyang landed on the drilling platform and then waved toward the South Tower Special from above.

The ship slowly approached the drilling platform’s sturdy pillars, looking for a place to drop anchor.

Although they had been attacked, Spencer decided to deploy the submarine underwater despite the risk of the opponent dispatching a second team.

Wei Tianyang teleported onto the ship, where he saw Dave sitting in a corner of the cabin, holding a notebook computer and specialized control equipnt, while other sailors helped slowly lower the subrsible into the sea.

The preparation work went smoothly. Spencer pulled Wei Tianyang to the bow and asked quietly, "What did you see on that ship?"

"Tell first, what organization have you provoked?" Wei Tianyang demanded.

Spencer sighed, knowing that Wei Tianyang wouldn’t let the matter rest without an explanation.

So, he confessed, "Do you rember our conversation that night in Azaha?"

"The key to evolution? The dawn of mankind? My guess wasn’t wrong, was it?" Wei Tianyang asked.

Spencer nodded.

"I knew it... The Chairman of Tiantai Pharmaceutical said the sa thing to in international court. So, what exactly is the plan?"

"Dawn of mankind is not just a plan; it is also a secret society," Spencer said.

"What does this organization want to do? I feel like they don’t have much presence, always saying I’m their target, yet they haven’t made a move in three years. And why do they want to kill you?" Wei Tianyang asked, puzzled.

"It’s a long story... It’s a foundation led by major pharmaceutical companies and academics, essentially for researching the applications of the Heavenly Falling Objects. In reality, they want to combine humans with the Heavenly Falling Objects to create a new species... that’s not quite right either. They aim to ’complete the missing parts of humanity.’"

"You are the most perfect case they have observed. They won’t touch you; they’ll just watch you from the shadows. If you don’t do anything outrageous, they don’t mind giving you a push..." Spencer explained.

"Give a push? What do you an?" Wei Tianyang asked.

"Releasing your essence. They believe you are no longer purely human, but a Zero-Nine-One," Spencer said.

"I’ve heard such argunts. Why do they want to kill you?" Wei Tianyang asked.

"? They just want to deal with a traitor. After all, although I left the organization, I have beco their lingering concern. After all, dead n tell no tales and are more reassuring when it cos to keeping secrets," Spencer said, shaking his head.

"From what you used to be... Well, I can guess. They just want to study this... To , it’s hardly a secret... don’t the pharmaceutical companies do just that today? The Superpower Special Departnt and what they want aren’t fundantally different," Wei Tianyang said, spreading his hands.

"No, you’re wrong. What they want isn’t a soldier who, after taking drugs, still has to obey politicians. Their ambition is to overturn the human society ’based on the existing social structure, financial system, political frawork’... They want to reshape the entire world," Spencer said.

"Why did you leave that organization?" Wei Tianyang asked.

"Just like you said that night, if everyone beca like you, mankind would not welco dawn, but doomsday," Spencer said.
