The three sat down in the back of the bar, each ordered a Kilimanjaro beer. Wei Tianyang took a sip and frowned tightly, only feeling a bitterness in his mouth that was uncomfortably intense, as if he had drunk overnight urine, or like he had ingested a dose of undissolved bitter dicine. However, after swallowing and waiting a few seconds, he felt an endless aftertaste. The rich malt flavor surged up from his throat and bounced around in his mouth.

"Who is this guy?"

While Wei Tianyang was experiencing the Heiside Continent’s beer, Dave looked at him and gave Spencer a knowing glance.

"He’s my partner," Spencer said.

"From Yin Country? Or Zhuo Wei Country? Richu Country?" Dave asked.

"My na is... Weiske. I’m a stateless individual," Wei Tianyang quickly ca up with a West Soil na for himself.

"That’s quite rare. It seems that no country accepts stateless individuals, do they?" Dave said with a laugh.

"It was out of necessity. It’s a long story," Wei Tianyang said.

"Let’s get down to business. The ship and the submarine are ready, and they are on their way here. How is your current state?" Spencer asked.

"I’m ready at any ti. Where did you get the ship? The Seychelles Waters are a bit far from here, and after sailing there, it will have to stay at sea for a while. Is that going to work?" Dave asked.

"No problem. The ship used to be a whaling vessel. Before I bought it, I had soone assess it; the condition is pretty good, and the previous team maintained it well," Spencer said.

"We’re going to salvage sothing big, is the submarine the model I requested?" Dave asked, nodding.

"I studied that horse for a whole year; I know exactly how big it is, so don’t worry. The submarine has been custom-modified to your specifications, and it includes the remote operation system you’re used to," Spencer said.

Hearing their conversation, Wei Tianyang realized these two must have known each other for quite so ti, so he interrupted, "You two have collaborated before, right?"

The two nodded, and Dave tilted his head back to take several gulps of beer, then said, "I used to be a military unmanned submarine technician in the Sethiyan navy. After I retired, I was idle for a while, until Spencer found and gave a job."

"It was a chance eting. A few years ago, I collaborated with a dostic university on an Antarctic underwater scientific research project, and soone introduced Dave to ," Spencer added.

"Now we’re all in the sa boat. You know the nature of what we’re about to salvage, right?" Wei Tianyang said.

"That thing... Back in the military, I didn’t have clearance to touch such stuff. But speaking of which, old chap, what’s your background?" Dave asked.

"If sothing goes wrong during the salvage, I might be able to save your lives," Wei Tianyang said.

Dave looked at Spencer, who revealed a mysterious smile.

Dave understood suddenly and lowered his voice, "Ah... You’re not, by any chance, from the Superpower Special Forces, are you?"

Wei Tianyang simply nodded for the mont.

"Shit... that’s aweso! I served in the army for six years and never t a real one!" Dave excitedly extended his hand.

Wei Tianyang shook his hand and said, "We’re all just ordinary people, what’s so strange about that?"

Dave laughed and said, "It’s totally different. The Superpower Special Forces are an exceptional presence in the military. To be honest, I really wanted to join that program, but I got eliminated during the second test. Damn, you must be really sothing!" Dave said in admiration.

"We have a submarine operator now. What about the sailors?" Wei Tianyang asked.

"We’ll just hire locals; they’re used to dealing with the Heavenly Falling Objects by now," Spencer said.

"Excellent, let’s do that," Wei Tianyang said.

"Right, Mr. Spencer, rember the treaty of the Heiside Continent? If we really salvage that thing, what should we do if the sailors make a fuss about dividing the money? The local governnt does indeed have that power," Dave said.

Spencer looked at Wei Tianyang.

He took another sip of beer and had already made plans in his mind; if the horse were dead, he would absorb its power, and it would probably disappear like a moth, no trace left behind. With no evidence left, there would be no issue.

If the horse were alive... He was inclined to hand it over to Spencer for research; he was also curious about where these things ca from and what their relationship with humans was. He already possessed enough power; he didn’t need this one horse. Handing it over to soone with the corresponding intellect could yield more gain.

"As long as the sailors on the ship are paid well, they probably won’t make any trouble," Wei Tianyang said.

Spencer nodded and said, "After it is salvaged, the ship won’t return to port. Instead, it will head to Yen, disguising the creature along the way," Spencer said.

"That’s assuming the thing is dead. If it’s alive, the submarine upgrades could co in handy," Dave said.

"Upgrades? What are you planning to do?" Wei Tianyang asked.

"There’s a probe on the front of the submarine. If it’s alive, Dave will operate the sub to hit it, and we should be able to obtain so living tissue samples," Spencer said.

"You really are well-prepared," Wei Tianyang said.

"Given that this could be the first case of its kind in the world, I won’t let humanity face a threat because of it. Depending on the situation, I will report to the United Council," Spencer added.

Wei Tianyang nodded; Spencer was indeed thorough in his considerations and not soone who would blindly pursue his research desires without regard for reality.

"After all, if we run into problems we can’t handle at the ti, you’ll need to take action," Spencer said with a smile.

"I can at least ensure the safety of you two; that’s sothing I’m definitely capable of," Wei Tianyang said.

"That does sound very reassuring! Weiske! Speaking of which... could you let us in on it?" Dave said.

"On what?" Wei Tianyang asked.

"Your... su...per...power..." Dave whispered.

"You were military; you should know that’s classified, right? I can’t say," Wei Tianyang said.

"Damn, I’m just curious..." Dave seed disappointed.

"Let’s hope nothing goes wrong on this trip, so you won’t be forced to act," Spencer said, more pragmatically.

Wei Tianyang and Dave finished their beers, and the three n then left the bar. They spent three more days in the hotel, and afterwards, the whaling ship, carrying the submarine, appeared at the seaport.

Early in the morning, Spencer’s n, looking travel-worn, waited outside the hotel. Not many ca: four West Soil People in plainclothes. They drove a rented SUV, split into two vehicles, and took Wei Tianyang and his party to the port.

The ship was a modern whaling ship nad "Nantakeite," with the forr captain nad Stab, belonging to a Sethiyan whaling company. After the company went bankrupt, the ship changed hands among various fishing companies.

Dave had been in this country in advance and had already been helping to recruit sailors, so now there were not only the ship at the dock but also more than twenty strapping Negro sailors.

Spencer was in high spirits; the ship’s renovation had been well done. On the other end of the phone, the salvage company’s site had been cleared, and they were laying the foundation, and the qualifications for mariti salvage had been preemptively dealt with through certain ans.

Everything was ready; now, it was just a matter of setting sail.
