The car exited the underground parking lot of United Pharmaceuticals. With just a tap on the screen, the autonomous driving function could take Wei Tianyang back to his villa, but he didn’t head back imdiately. As he passed a coffee shop, he felt a sudden urge and parked his car by the roadside.

There were plenty of coffee beans at the villa, all prepared in advance by mbers of the United Council. Wei Tianyang simply wanted to reminisce about the old tis when he and Starbucks’ Kacha spent ti reading and chatting in coffee shops.

Before Spencer responded, he still had so free ti and wasn’t in a hurry to return.

The coffee shop was located in a bustling area. A sign featuring a woman wearing a straw hat was placed at the entrance, with the big shop door marked with the sign: Culture Espresso.

Just as Wei Tianyang was about to push open the door, a middle-aged man in a blue jacket and crew cut cheerfully greeted him.

"Yo! Your Lordship! I greet you with a bow~" The man patted his sleeves and slightly bent his knees, greeting him with a smile.

Wei Tianyang was startled and looked behind him, thinking the man was not speaking to him.

"Hey! My Lord~ Look no further, I’m greeting you~" the man chuckled.

Wei Tianyang looked at the old man, whose smile sunk to the mud, his eyes squinting into a line, his blue jacket stained with oil, looking to be in his early forties.

He took a deep breath and said, "I don’t know you."

"Hey! Now we do know each other, right? Take care, it’s going to rain later~ We have an umbrella here. If you don’t mind, take it for the road~" The man smiled, pulling out a black foldable umbrella from behind him and offering it.

Wei Tianyang declined his kindness, with a slight smile he said, "No need."

A beggar, perhaps? But he didn’t have any cash on him.

"Hey~ then take care. If you need anything, I’ll be waiting right outside?" The man smiled.

Hearing this, Wei Tianyang, who was about to move forward, stopped and asked, "Tsk, who are you? Why so attentive? I have no cash on , I can’t give you any money."

"I wouldn’t dare ask for your money~ I just couldn’t help but greet soone from the sa path in this free country," the man chuckled.

"Soone from the sa path? You are also from the United Council?" Wei Tianyang was taken aback.

Could this be soone sent by Helena Mina to watch over him?

"Tsk tsk tsk... Hey... incredible, incredible! My Lord, are you an officer?" The man’s narrow eyes widened, a mix of admiration and pride on his face.

Seeing his expression, Wei Tianyang realized he had overthought the situation.

"What path do you share with ? Let’s hear it?" Wei Tianyang crossed his arms, smiling.

"We are all comrades from Yin Country who have chosen to defect to the light~ Sa as throwing away our passports upon landing and staying here. My Lord, you must be much more affluent and respectable than ~" the man chuckled.

"Defect to the light?" Wei Tianyang laughed out loud, rembering a similar person he t in Yixu. This guy was even worse; at least that person in Yixu had a residence permit. This guy had torn up his passport after disembarking, making him essentially a stateless person...

"Yeah, what kind of hellhole is Yin Country? Unfree, unfair, feudalism, autocracy! Everyone looks like a subservient servant, and they dean others too!" the man’s legs straightened as he cursed Yin Country.

"You seem pretty sure I was from Yin Country?" Wei Tianyang asked.

"I’ve studied it for a long ti. The look of mixed-blood from East Continent and the look of Zun Family people from East Continent are different. Your appearance—obviously from Zun Family. At the very least, soone in your family was a civil servant. But hey, I guess you must have been a scion back in Yin Country, huh... Wait, no, at such a young age, working at the United Council... Oh, you might be one of the Yin people?" The man’s expression changed as he guessed, his face showing surprise, pride, and a hint of fear.

"How did you end up researching this without finding a job?" Wei Tianyang asked.

"Hey~ just marveling, great minds think alike! Look, although you’re from the elite of the Zun Family and I’m just an ant in the mud, the fact that we can et here on the thriving streets of Sethiyan Duchy just proves that old saying, doesn’t it?" The man smiled.

"Oh? What saying?" Wei Tianyang asked.

"Birds of a feather flock together~" the man said with so pride and satisfaction.

"What do you an by that?" Wei Tianyang asked with a smile.

"You see, there’s a huge gap between our statuses, but we both fundantally understand Yin Country and chose to abandon that rotten place to develop here. Doesn’t that just show that fundantally, we are of the sa kind?" the man said proudly.

"You put it that way, there is so sense to it," Wei Tianyang chuckled.

He had no interest in arguing or debating with these people.

The man bent over to help him open the glass door of the coffee shop, making a gesture of invitation.

At that mont, a few natives of Sethiyan holding coffee cups ca out, glancing at the man with strange expressions.

Wei Tianyang entered the coffee shop, saw the man giving him a saluting gesture through the showcase window, and then watched him happily cross the street.

The aroma of coffee filled his nostrils, and the recent brief encounter was completely forgotten. As he approached the counter, he put on his headphones, then ordered an espresso, and also inquired about the prices of coffee beans from the server.

Wei Tianyang used to be short on money, but now, money was no longer an issue for him, to the extent that he had lost any concrete concept of it.

In these past three years, he had not needed to use money for anything. Even if he had to spend money when he was out alone, his phone was equipped with a digital wallet under the na of the United Council.

He didn’t know how much was in the balance, but Helena Mina had made it clear to him that as long as he wasn’t buying an island in the Pacific Ocean, he couldn’t spend all the money in it.

The server pulled out a flyer, pointing and explaining the Spanish entries and pictures to him. He half understood and finally decided to get a can of each variety.

As he sipped his coffee and waited for the beans to be packaged, a couple standing by the counter also greeted him.

The pair, a man and a woman, both appeared to be from East Continent, with attractive features—the man handso, the woman cute. It was apparent they frequented the gym, as they both had excellent physiques.

The leading young man wore an exquisite shirt and casual suit, boasting a true Georgetown style, his brown leather shoes gleaming, his hair combed to one side, and a confident smile on his face.

Beside him stood his girlfriend in a purple sling dress, her deep brown wavy hair falling in curls, holding a glossy black handbag, also smiling sweetly at Wei Tianyang.
