At that ti, Jing Shu had been so confused that she couldn’t distinguish anything. She had simply harvested energy based on her intuition and the energy fluctuations in her space. Then, she walked out, oblivious, completely unaware that any data calculation was even necessary.

In any case, she had been extrely lucky. Only after erging did she belatedly realize it had been four-dinsional space.

And now? She had wandered into another disorienting space. What was even more terrifying was that while previously there had only been four data points, entering this Six-dinsional space required six data coordinates—"difficult" was an understatent.

Jing Shu finally understood. Though it was just a small area between two provinces, no one had successfully traversed it for a very long ti. Many entered, but none erged.

Hearing the old man’s words, the expressions of everyone present turned grim.

"Isn’t that an exaggeration? Don’t we have satellite positioning that can connect to external signals?"

"Yeah, I refuse to believe we can’t get out by just walking in one direction!"

This was a sentint from soone who didn’t grasp the technicals.

Soone who understood imdiately explained, "It’s like light refraction underwater. The satellite is like our eyes, and the fish in the water represent our current position. True positioning will have deviations. According to this gentleman, if the six data points are even slightly off, it could lead us astray by a thousand miles."

The conference room grew noisy.

Jing Shu frowned, wondering. If she found the energy source, could she use the sa thod as in the four-dinsional space to locate the area with the most abundant energy in the Six-dinsional space? Would that be the exit?

Jun Bao waved his hand, signaling for quiet, then asked, "So, is there a solution now?"

The old man tilted his head, a hint of pride in his voice. "This humble one is not exceptionally skilled, but I just happened to calculate the required data."

"Hey, you should have said so earlier! Stop fearmongering; you gave us a scare."

"Exactly! I thought we’d never get out of this so-called Archides Space."

"It’s Euclidean Space, commonly known as Six-dinsional space."

Jun Bao also let out a sigh of relief; today had truly been a roller coaster of emotions.

"The situation is not optimistic, so don’t celebrate too soon," the old man continued. "Based on the coordinates I’ve calculated, I suspect that the closer we get to the center point, the more stable the space becos. This stability requires more special energy to maintain, and consequently, there will be more mutated Ticks. They will also beco more powerful, aning it will be more dangerous."

Old Doctor Zhang suddenly beca excited. "Is it that extrely rare black energy we discovered before? I agree that it gets more dangerous the further we go. I also discovered that the further we went, the larger and more ferocious these mutated Ticks beca, and their resistance to Ai grew stronger. I didn’t ntion it then to avoid causing panic, and rely suggested we turn back directly."

Black energy wasn’t top secret. It had been used to research so new apocalyptic species and their novel functions. It not only held great research value but was also a new, unknown type of energy source. Countries around the world were secretly researching this apocalyptic New Energy.

The old man shook his head. "It’s not necessarily black energy. What I can confirm is that supporting this kind of space requires an energy source unknown to us. The details are for scientists to research and worry about. An old codger like wouldn’t understand that much."

Jun Bao’s eyes brightened. This was a rare material! Whether taken to the Imperial Capital for research or handed over to the authorities, it would be extrely valuable.

In her heart, Jing Shu was also scheming. Originally, she had wanted to secretly absorb all the energy before anyone noticed. But now, it seed she wouldn’t be able to monopolize it. The crucial data had been calculated by soone else, the coordinates provided by another, and even the concept of the energy had been proposed by soone else. She couldn’t just go and take all the energy for herself...

"So, it looks like we must head towards the area with the most Ticks?"

"Then, until we have a solution for the mutated Ticks, how do we proceed? Are we just going to march to our deaths, one by one?"

"Turning back is out of the question; we’re already lost. So, are we just supposed to wait here to die?"

"The ’advantage’ of trying to fight our way out is a 1% chance of survival, though the downside is a quick death. The disadvantage of waiting to die is a 100% certainty of death, though the ’advantage’ is dying more slowly. We have enough supplies to barely cling to life for about a month."

"So the core issue is, as long as we can deal with the Ticks, we can get out, and there’s even a chance to find the legendary precious energy. Isn’t this a vicious cycle?"

"Exactly. The problem is, we can’t solve the issue with the Ticks."

Jun Bao gestured to Hao Yunlai. "Since you’re the captain of this elite team, what are your thoughts?"

Hao Yunlai, who had been dozing off, ruffled his ssy hair and looked towards Jing Shu. "I don’t have any ideas. Mirror definitely has a plan. Whenever we get lost, we always find our way out by following Mirror." And there’s always lots of delicious food, so following Mirror is definitely the right choice.

Jun Bao nodded in agreent and then turned his gaze to Jing Shu.

The conference room quieted sowhat. Jing Shu’s status had inexplicably risen. So were surprised. This man, reputed to be a mysterious Power User from Wu City, was giving such high praise to another young woman, almost as if bowing in submission to her.

What’s so special about that woman, who only seems pretty on the surface?

As everyone’s gaze fell upon her, Jing Shu felt a bit conflicted and coughed twice. She didn’t want to waste any more ti. Jun Bao was right; delaying another day ant a million hungry mouths would be eagerly waiting. Without revealing her trump cards and special ability, it was acceptable to display so deterrent strength.

So, Jing Shu cleared her throat and asked, "Before we proceed, I’d like to confirm: does anyone else have a viable solution? Or any other ideas?"

"No, we’re not familiar with this field."

"I can fight, but I really don’t understand this kind of specialized suppressant research."

"I’m in food research. I could try to figure out how to use Ticks as food, but that’s about it."

After confirming that no one else had any suggestions, Jing Shu nodded. "I do have a solution, but I’d like to discuss it privately with the person in charge and Old Doctor Zhang."

Murmurs spread through the conference room.

"What’s this? Does it involve so kind of secret?"

"What is it that we can’t hear?"

Old Doctor Zhang’s eyes lit up; he knew Jing Shu was about to present sothing valuable. He imdiately said, "Let’s talk in my lab. I guarantee no one can eavesdrop."

Under the curious gazes of the crowd, the three of them left the command vehicle and entered Old Doctor Zhang’s private lab trailer.

Jing Shu got straight to the point. "I have the raw materials to produce a large quantity of Tick suppressant dicine. I can supply these materials, but afterward, I demand ownership of half of all the energy."

To be able to openly harness the energy from the Six-dinsional space, and even do so legitimately, was incredibly advantageous. If everyone contributed to solving the problem, wouldn’t sharing the rewards be delightful?

Of course, what Jing Shu was offering was certainly obtained through legitimate ans; otherwise, how could she dare to present it?

Jun Bao looked puzzled. "Elder Zhang couldn’t find an affordable substitute for the mutated Tick extract, yet you can provide it? And in large quantities?"
