Jing Shu was also frowning. "We indeed captured five Dark Creatures. They definitely exist..." She thought for a long ti but couldn’t understand what was going on, only vaguely knowing that she might have entered the Dinsion Space!
Once it involves Dinsion Space, it’s an extrely dangerous existence.
A line is one-dinsional, defined by points, which is one-dinsional space.
A surface is two-dinsional, defined by lines, which is two-dinsional space.
A volu is three-dinsional, defined by surfaces, which is three-dinsional space.
Just like when in the United States, the four-dinsional space involved ’ti’ and was higher than three-dinsional space.
But what was the current situation?
She rembered that in her previous life, when she migrated past here, she hadn’t encountered such a situation, just felt like she had walked for a long ti.
When we first entered this place, we actually hadn’t encountered such a situation.
Jing Shu was very cautious. This was no place for jokes. Being a creature of a lower dinsion like her, it was very easy to not integrate with ’dinsions’ and explode.
As for how to get a grasp of this place’s situation and whether there were also resources, those needed further observation.
Thus, Jing Shu said, "Today, we rest for a day, and tomorrow, let’s see how things are!"
In the end, it was decided just like that.
The supplies were abundant, and with many insects as marker points, they faced, at most, the risk of getting lost or encountering invisible walls. Other people were not very worried.
There were no wild beasts or living creatures here. One could say, apart from Dark Creatures like the Hulk, there were no other living beings, not even plants.
As for the environnt, Jing Shu had been observing closely these few days. Apart from the ubiquitous snow cover, there wasn’t anything particularly special. The only discernible difference was that so areas resembled small hills, while others looked like basins. Besides the green sli stuck to everything, even Jing Shu couldn’t tell if they were repeatedly encountering the sa place.
「The next day, at the sa location and at the sa ti.」
Jing Shu and the others looked nervously at that place.
"What do you think, will a bunch of Dark Creatures appear again today and then start rging?"
"I don’t know, it’s hard to say."
Ti passed minute by minute...
"Ti’s up!"
Everyone held their breath, yet nothing happened! The events they imagined did not occur, which made Jing Shu even more confused.
Could I be wrong? Jing Shu frowned. "Then today we set out, proceeding at one-third of our previous speed."
The team’s pace was very slow. Still, nothing happened. The only daily worry was: what should we eat next?
During these days away from ho, Jing Shu gradually didn’t want to eat so simply anymore, especially since there was plenty of ti to cook.
Besides practicing the Magic Cube and organizing her space, Jing Shu’s main concern was capturing all the Hulks and returning ho. However, given the current situation, she could only take things one step at a ti.
So with the slowed pace, the team’s food quality moved up a notch.
Jing Shu took out a homade thick broth concentrate from her black box. It was made from various large bones boiled down and then frozen into a jelly-like form. Today, she threw in a large chunk.
She added so secret seasonings and prepared a dipping sauce.
When it started boiling and bubbling, she tossed in frozen tofu, at Wanzi, ham sausages, hot pot Wanzi, frozen at rolls, and other ingredients for a chaotic stew. After they finished the pot, they could cook more. The main dish was bamboo-egg noodles handmade by Grandma Jing.
It looked just like instant noodles, but it was actually made with real ingredients. To maintain its texture for longer storage, it had been fried in oil. After being cooked in the hot pot soup and topped with sunny-side-up eggs, everything, including the broth and noodles, was devoured completely.
The fat chicken was slurping oil all around its mouth, not even sparing the spices at the bottom of the pot. Unfortunately, the fat chicken didn’t get to eat any bones, as Jing Shu had already ticulously removed them to make it easier to carry and save space.
Xiao Wei had never tasted such heavenly food. Just one sip of the rich broth was intoxicatingly delicious.
So, the previous als had indeed been a bit plain, haha.
At this pace, they reached the next day, at the sa ti and the sa place, and the Hulk appeared again.
"Hey, this is really bizarre!" Jing Shu was almost driven mad by this situation. At this mont, she just wanted to throw back her head and howl, "What in the world is the principle behind this?!"
After capturing the Hulk, Jing Shu pondered for quite a while, then said, "Let’s try to return."
"Sure." Xiao Wei naturally had no objections. She ca out to ’play’ and ’eat’. Honestly, even if they could never leave, she would be willing as long as there was food. If there ultimately was no food, she could survive on insects alone. Thus, she felt no survival pressure.
The team sped up quite a bit, and Jing Shu successfully encountered the first checkpoint and the second checkpoint, leaving an insect and a rotten rmaid at each kiloter to send ssages.
In half a day, Jing Shu led the team back to where they had started the day before.
She was so sure because she had made marks, left insects, and calculated the distances. Everything matched perfectly. Then, taking another half-day, she led the team to the place where they had t the fourth Hulk.
The insects, checkpoints, and locations had not changed.
"This proves we aren’t hitting a ghost wall! We didn’t even travel the sa path twice."
"Just watch, ’ti’ is almost here. If I’m not mistaken, the sa Hulk shouldn’t appear here this ti."
When they reached the sa ti and place again, it was, indeed, very quiet, just as it had been when Jing Shu left that day.
Jing Shu let out a sigh of relief, finally having guessed correctly for once.
Then this map must be very, very large...
"How do we proceed now?"
"This ti, let’s keep heading north and see what happens."
The team didn’t rest and accelerated northward through the night. Since the path they had taken previously wasn’t rely them circling the sa spot but was a real route, then the problem might be with the map itself.
After two days of walking, they did not encounter the Hulk.
So why had they kept encountering the sa Hulk at the sa ti and place before? Whether they walked slower or intentionally sped up, it was almost as if they had entered a curse...
"Let’s continue toward the original direction..." Jing Shu led her team back to the original heading, and she seed to have vaguely grasped sothing.
No two creatures in the world are completely identical unless they are products from different dinsional spaces.
Jing Shu decided to investigate thoroughly. Capturing the Hulks wasn’t enough; she needed to understand how they reproduced. Of course, Jing Shu also had a selfish motive:
If there’s Dinsion Energy, that would be great—the Magic Cube needs an upgrade!
