Little did they realize Jing Shu was leading them exactly where she wanted. The doubts Jing Shu voiced weren’t necessarily what the others were thinking, but once she articulated them, they sounded surprisingly plausible. Thus, without realizing it, they fell for Jing Shu’s trap.

Secondly, the results were about to be revealed. Since Doctor B was so confident, it definitely couldn’t be fake; otherwise, he would just be making a fool of himself later. So, with Jing Shu inside as a witness, them watching from their side, and considering Doctor B’s reputation, they were mostly convinced.

"Gentlen," one began, "we should start discussing the price for the doctor to help us multiply our food and crops."

"I hear the Water of Life is very difficult to develop, and the supply is surely limited. We should move quickly to secure so."

The group of old-tirs, already at ease, had begun discussing future arrangents, while Doctor B and his team still felt a bit apprehensive. After all, he couldn’t just conjure sothing from nothing, no matter what he did. They were anxious to see how Jing Shu would pull it off.

Once the laboratory door closed completely, sealing off all sound from inside, Doctor B put on a kindly smile. He directed Jing Shu, who was feigning amazent, to get to work, but then whispered, "What exactly is your plan? We haven’t prepared any videos or materials."

Jing Shu gestured for Doctor B to look at the old-tirs, who were already discussing how to carve up the profits. "See?" she said. "They’ve stopped recording. Didn’t you prepare that presentation on salt splitting? It’s basically the sa thing. Just play that one."

"Alright," Doctor B agreed.

"As for making the sugar seem to multiply, that trick is much easier," Jing Shu continued. "It’s the old thod: every twenty minutes, we’ll make the crystal’s mass appear to expand a bit. In about two or three hours, it will look like there’s significantly more. Tis has everything prepared. I’ll cover for you while you make the switch."

This was probably the best approach for a temporary plan. Fortunately, Jing Shu still had a bag of sugar to use as a substitute for the test sample. Although creating the visual discrepancy would waste so sugar, it was a worthwhile cost.

If Jing Shu hadn’t been there to provide cover, making a tiny, plain pinch of sugar suddenly appear to double in size would have been as obvious as lice on a bald head. But with Jing Shu creating a flurry of small, distracting actions as cover, the onlookers’ perception was muddled multiple tis.

After each supposed cell division, Doctor B would invite everyone to observe the "miraculous" scene. Under the microscope, the number of cells appeared to have multiplied imnsely. However, the farm owners, watching from over ten ters away, couldn’t see things very clearly. Coupled with their preconceptions and seeing Jing Shu inside, so diligently "verifying" the process, they were subconsciously swayed.

When the final "division" was declared successful, the initial 10 grams of sugar now looked exceptionally crystalline, its grains more than doubled in size. "Look, 21 grams," Doctor B announced, displaying the final data.

Jing Shu picked up so of the significantly enlarged sugar granules, tasted one, and nodded. The farm owners also carefully took a grain each to taste. "Oh my goodness! This sugar tastes even purer, so much better than before! Its flavor hasn’t diminished at all despite the material expanding so much—this is truly lossless amplification!"

Products from my space are always top-notch! Jing Shu ntally rolled her eyes. And this was even treated with diluted Spiritual Spring water.

"Alright, I admit I lost the bet. From now on, I’ll send all my dicinal herbs to you," Jing Shu declared. "But I just watched it carefully for two hours, seeing it grow bit by bit. This process is truly amazing! I suggest everyone co in and observe it personally." Jing Shu, the shill, was officially on the job!

Ms. C strode forward, her expression almost murderous, as if she wanted to kill Jing Shu on the spot. However, once the farm owners confird the marvel and noticed Doctor B seed a bit displeased, they imdiately changed their tune. Adopting a solicitous tone, they said, "We won’t watch anymore. This has already taken up the whole day, and Doctor B must be tired. We should be considerate of Doctor B’s health."

"Yes, yes, it’s truly a marvelous thing!" one said. "We just don’t know what the input requirents are, or how much of our materials it can expand. Each of us old fellows has tens of thousands of pounds of various grains and supplies... As for the paynt, Doctor, just na your price. We won’t haggle."

Doctor B adopted a benevolent, almost godlike smile. "Currently, the daily output of the Water of Life can only process one thousand pounds of materials. I take 30% as my fee."

Deducting 30% still left them with a 70% net gain on their original materials. This was practically free money!

However, the farm owners, already envisioning the profits, were sowhat disappointed. "A thousand pounds a day is far from enough for all of us to share. Is there any way to increase production capacity?" Divided among them, this ant only an additional 200 pounds of food each per day—far too little!

"Of course," Doctor B said, waving his hand dismissively, seemingly indifferent to the vast potential profits. "If we process materials at their source, we could amplify tens of thousands of pounds of carbohydrates daily. However, that location is too dangerous, and I’m unwilling to take the risk. The earnings from processing a thousand pounds a day are enough for to continue my research."

"Besides, I’m quite tired. If you’ve made up your minds, you can start transporting your various materials here tomorrow. However, I will only accept one thousand pounds per day."

The farm owners exchanged excited glances, their minds racing, before departing one by one. It was as if a golden path to riches had just opened up before them.

The first, nerve-wracking step was complete. A preliminary level of trust had been established.

Once everyone had left, Jing Shu and Doctor B high-fived.

"The second step," Jing Shu said, her lips curling into a smirk, "is to give them a real taste of this benefit. Let them beco utterly infatuated with this feeling, addicted to it. Then, when we ruthlessly snatch it away, they’ll definitely lose their minds." Simultaneously, her performance as a shill moved into its second phase.

After returning ho, none of the farm owners would consult any authorities. This was a secret, after all—a fantastic secret to getting rich! If word got out to everyone, how would they make their fortunes? It didn’t matter to them what thod Doctor B used; they had personally witnessed it double the quantity of goods. That was enough. By then, they were already lost in their own beautiful dreams of wealth.

If anyone dared to question or doubt Doctor B again, these "witnesses" would be the first to jump to his defense. Such is the frightening power of being brainwashed.

Jing Shu’s dicinal herbs transford overnight, each plant exhibiting vigorous growth. The next day, when they were delivered to the inspection agency, they caused a sensation among Austin’s elite. The city’s upper echelons were both shocked and thrilled by the herbs’ potent life force. anwhile, rumors about Doctor B’s Water of Life began to circulate.

Naturally, people were skeptical about this.

However, when several farm owners began transporting various foodstuffs to Doctor B’s exclusive facility and then, a couple of days later, transported back what appeared to be double the amount, many people belatedly caught on that sothing significant was happening.
