At that very mont, Jing Shu activated a unique ability of the Magic Cube Space.

Little Black, standing nearby, imdiately began to explain, while the reviewing official, whose initially weary expression had turned wooden, stated, "As long as you can provide 100 pounds of food or materials of equivalent value, you can beco a citizen of Austin and enjoy the corresponding rights. Even if you’re a fugitive, you don’t have to worry about being pursued by the outside world. However, Austin City is currently offering a high reward for a group of Asians, so all Asians must go to the Review Departnt. Only after they confirm you’re not the people we’re looking for and issue a pass can you proceed to the data center to change your identity. And those maniacs, for the sake of the high bounty, often turn all Asians over to the authorities."

Jing Shu’s expression showed she understood. It seems the Slave Master is furious.

"Should we leave then?" Monk rubbed his head; he was clearly still spooked by what had happened before. A few days ago, they had caught him right after he arrived, no questions asked.

Yang Yang shook his head. "No, look at his attitude. It’s completely different from that day. He’s being way too agreeable."

Jing Shu continued to ask, "So, we want to beco citizens of Austin now."

Strangely, before Little Black even had a chance to translate, the man, his eyes half-closed as if in a dream, nodded. "Alright. I’ll have John take you to the Review Departnt now."

This is like walking straight into a trap! Do we even need to spell out the consequences of letting those people interrogate a group of Asians? Is the plan to take down everyone in the Review Departnt?

"If anything unexpected happens, I can subdue everyone within my line of sight in three seconds," Zhen Nantian said, rubbing his wristband.

No, wait, this man is far too agreeable! How can it be that whatever Jing Shu says, goes?

At this mont, those who had followed Jing Shu through the great mountains had unwavering faith in her; Jing Shu’s authority was already established. Those who didn’t know her well, however, felt sowhat intimidated, especially Monk.

Zhen Nantian remained silent the entire ti, as if his words were as precious as gold. Perhaps this is a display of confidence—the confidence in his ability to escape any situation, the narrator mused.

The group first underwent a strict inspection and scan. Apart from the weapons embedded in their bodies, which went undetected, their firearms were all stored in the security room. John lecherously eyed Lingling, who had recovered from her sallow complexion; after all, for foreigners who are face-blind, a curvy figure is what they prefer.

Another batch heading to their deaths, John thought as he led them to the Review Departnt and then left. This place is Austin’s prison! I have no desire to stay with these sewer rats.

To put it plainly, the Review Departnt was like an ancient jail, and these ill-intentioned white n in uniform were the jailers. However, their power was far greater because the Review Departnt also managed Austin’s patrols and security.

From inside the Review Departnt, one could occasionally hear tragic screams and wails, filling the place with an eerie atmosphere.

"Hey, fellas, we’ve got work! Another group of Asians!" The n, carrying firearms, took Jing Shu’s group. One of them sneered, "I bet this bunch is the ones the higher-ups are looking for. Let’s beat them speechless first, then hand them over."

Monk took a large step forward, his muscles starting to rip through his clothes. Jing Shu, however, stepped in front of him, sighed, and thought, Five people... this will be a bit difficult. But it’s indeed ti to test the true power of my Magic Cube Space.

Before the Magic Cube Space upgraded, hypnotizing even two people at once had been incredibly difficult for her. Yet, she had never stopped her relentless training, enduring six months of excruciating, overwhelming pain. Now that the Magic Cube Space had upgraded, all her abilities had reached a new level.

The Magic Cube Space was a product of six-dinsional space or even higher dinsions. The five-dinsional space was speed itself, which could also be terd ’electric waves’ or ’ultrasonic waves.’ Jing Shu hadn’t understood this before, but after this sudden, profound enlightennt from the Magic Cube Space, she grasped it all.

When the brainwaves she emitted matched those of a target, it produced a hypnotic effect. When her brainwaves guided a target, it created a suggestion, causing the person to follow her lead. This was how cross-lingual communication was possible. And when the waves she emitted perfectly matched the ambient waves of her surroundings, she would beco completely invisible.

Everyone’s brainwaves are unique, as are their Spiritual Bodies. The stronger a person’s spirit, the harder they are to influence. Therefore, simultaneously emitting five separate brainwave suggestions to these n was a true test of Jing Shu’s abilities after her space’s upgrade.

"Sir, we are not the wanted individuals you’re looking for. We wish to beco citizens of Austin. Please issue us passes," Jing Shu said.

Sothing bizarre happened. Jing Shu was clearly speaking Huaxia, while the n spoke English, yet they seed to understand each other.

The man’s eyes also beca dull. "Then co and register your fingerprints, irises, and facial appearance. Rousi, take them to get their fingerprints recorded and registered."

"Luo Fei, what are you talking about? These are Asians, we need to— Oh, Luo Fei, you’re right. I’ll take them to record their fingerprints right away." Rousi was a beautiful woman, but now her eyes were also vacant as she began to lead Jing Shu’s group to record their fingerprints.

With each additional person she controlled, a bit more sweat appeared on Jing Shu’s forehead. Five people were her current limit, but she was very satisfied with the Magic Cube Space’s abilities after its upgrade.

The normally bustling Review Departnt grew quiet. For so unknown reason, every lively individual had beco dull, as if their souls had drifted off to sleep. These staff mbers, now guiding Jing Shu’s group, successfully completed the review process and issued them passes. From this mont on, Jing Shu and her companions could openly and legitimately appear in Austin City.

This bizarre scene gave her teammates the chills. What would happen to us if Jing Shu ever used this on them?

Little Black whispered, "Huaxia’s Cup Skill is truly profound and extensive."

See? Jing Shu hadn’t said a word, yet soone had already co up with a perfect explanation for her. How convenient, Jing Shu thought.

Zhen Nantian, however, said with considerable interest, "You can try that on next ti."

Actually, Jing Shu had secretly tried this technique on Tan Ke, Snake Spirit, and Lingling. Lingling possessed a very strong spirit and consciousness, making her difficult to hypnotize, whereas Tan Ke had been an easy target.

As for dealing with Zhen Nantian, I don’t think I have that kind of power yet, Jing Shu thought.

With their passes in hand, the group finally, truly entered the fabled grand castle. In just over ten minutes, Jing Shu had accomplished what Yang Yang hadn’t managed in more than ten days. The entire team had to admit: Jing Shu was a total badass.

To beco citizens, each person had to submit 100 pounds of food or equivalent materials, a requirent Yang Yang had, of course, already prepared for. Carrying their bags, large and small, they finally entered the database located within the softly glowing castle. Here, they could legitimately alter their personal data.

With Jing Shu present, everything beca as simple as drinking water. They inputted their previous information, entered their new identities, and each person was issued a random verification code. This code was the ’Key’ for Austin’s citizens to move around within the castle.
