Mr. Jing helped fill the RV’s water tank to the brim; just connecting a hose would do. The water tank inside the RV was a super-large one; after all, it had to satisfy a family’s needs for washing up, bathing, drinking, and the floor heating system too—anything less wouldn’t be enough.
As it happened, Jing Shu also wanted to test how the RV’s floor heating perford after the modification. The constant temperature water pipes at 40° could ensure a moderately warm temperature inside the RV, plus there was 24-hour availability of hot water for showers; such a comfortable environnt was exactly what Jing Shu had always dreamt of.
They fully charged the battery for the German MAN and installed the extra bacterial solar panels Jing Shu had bought on the roof, mainly to test the RV’s endurance. Their own BYD Song, once fully charged, could run 180 kiloters.
Such a large RV had not been tested by ntor Wu You’ai; she only provided an approximate figure, saying it could run about 150 kiloters.
anwhile, Mr. Jing filled up with diesel as a precaution for the road; Su Malie’s eight large cylinders of concentrated natural gas were also secured in the RV’s side compartnts, ensuring the energy supply for cooking and heating the floor. Reportedly, this amount could last for normal use for three months.
Mr. Jing was responsible for checking the RV’s safety systems and taking care of all the RV-related preparations. Mrs. Jing then put the bedding, which had been re-dried with a dryer, into the RV, along with various living supplies and toiletries.
Jing Shu and Grandma Jing, along with Wu You’ai, were responsible for figuring out what else they needed to bring this ti, but everyone was already quite experienced. They needed to take more thick clothes and raincoats; getting wet in the cold weather outside would really be uncomfortable.
Next ca food. This ti, with the RV, Jing Shu and the others didn’t want to go to her elder aunt’s place for als anymore, so from breakfast to dinner, they brought plenty of everything. If they could take a cow with them, Jing Shu thought it would be nice to have fresh milk from the RV every day.
In the end, they only took two cans of milk powder and tea. They could boil milk tea in the morning. Since the RV also had a fridge, Jing Shu brought fernted glutinous rice and sweet dumplings; occasionally changing it up with a fernted glutinous rice and sweet dumpling egg soup would be quite good too.
Grandma Jing also brought her homade pulled dough cakes and kept them cold in the fridge. In the morning, just fry them in a pan and wrap them with lettuce, eggs, sausage, and tomato salad sauce, and that would be authentic pulled dough cakes.
As for vegetables, they ultimately chose Jing Shu’s Dried Vegetables and several jars of dried goods from ho, like Black Fungus, dried Shiitake Mushrooms, etc., which are great for soups and stir-fries.
For ats, Jing Shu chose beef jerky as a snack, and brought braised pig’s ears, pig’s head at, elbow at, spicy rabbit jerky, and other ready-to-eat foods for convenience. However, Jing Shu also brought so steaks for her midnight snacks.
The fish and shrimp in the villa’s pond were overflowing, so Jing Shu simply scooped a basin full of oysters and lobsters and put them in the villa’s pond to see if they could survive there, while also planning to try garlic-baked oysters and spicy crayfish. After all, Grandma Jing was a great cook.
For staple foods, they brought a bag of rice and semi-finished products. Considering Grandma Jing didn’t have ti to knead dough anymore, she had previously made various flavors of frozen dumplings, wontons, and buns.
Now Jing Shu’s appetite was big; not a single al could be taken lightly. The family had been drinking from the Spiritual Spring for a long ti and their appetites had increased, so eating less in a al made them uncomfortable.
In a short while, Jing Shu had carried all the food to the RV’s dining area and arranged everything neatly. This felt just like moving into a second ho; she couldn’t express the excitent and joy she felt. Before moving in officially, she hadn’t felt it as much, but now, suddenly stuffing various supplies inside, her sense of happiness intensified.
Of course, they couldn’t skimp on necessary items. When traveling, safety is most important; everyone had a Crossbow, and Jing Shu also had a handgun and Hand Grenades. They brought bulletproof vests and gas masks this ti. Jing Shu even took the Combat Armor Yang Yang had given her. It’s best if nothing happens, but it’s just in case.
Of course, there were other daily necessities like the dryer, Wind Oil Essence, hair dryer, and other household items. Appliances couldn’t be neglected either. Jing Shu was like a hamster, making trip after trip to move the excess items from the villa to the motorho; it was unclear whether she was preparing to enjoy life or to assist in delivering a baby.
It took all night to get ready, and before Jing Shu went to sleep, she felt like she had forgotten to do sothing habitual...
How Mr. Jing and Mrs. Jing slept was unclear, but Jing Shu, Wu You’ai, and Grandma Jing were excited all night. Wu You’ai was particularly thrilled about sleeping in her space capsule, having prepared for a long ti before going to bed last night.
After the family had a sumptuous breakfast, Grandma Jing gave a flurry of reminders, "Make sure not to forget to feed the chickens and ducks; the cow must be milked daily, otherwise, it will beco painfully bloated. Don’t forget to water the vegetable garden, let Zijin take good care of the silkworms, and don’t forget to clean the old house..."
"We know, Mom, you should go now."
Jing Shu first went to the dicinal Materials Association to report her trip and handed over her work to Wang Danai before returning and officially setting out from ho.
When Jing Shu took her seat at the wheel of the motorho and grabbed the steering wheel, she felt exceptionally excited. Grandma Jing, Mr. Jing, and Wu You’ai still didn’t trust her completely and stood in the co-driver’s area to help watch, though everyone wanted to take another look at the luxury motorho, they decided to wait until they reached their destination.
"I’m not drunk, there’s no need to look at like that. Go do your own things."
"We’d rather stay with you. In case there’s an issue, we can all jump out together," Mr. Jing joked for once.
Jing Shu: "..." It was just driving a motorho, and she had managed to scare them.
Fortunately, Jing Shu was fairly experienced, and she drove the vehicle steadily. It wasn’t until they reached the main road that Grandpa felt reassured, but none of them left. Instead, they pulled out the adjacent bed and started chatting.
The motorho’s speed was quite slow, but this trip seed much smoother than before. In less than two hours, they arrived at elder aunt’s house, not encountering any issues along the way.
This ti was more novel than the last, so everyone hardly felt the slowness.
Arriving once more at elder aunt’s house, it was a pity they couldn’t park the motorho inside her yard this ti, as it was too big. They stopped next to the house, got out in raincoats, and knocked on the front door.
The person who ca to open the door was Uncle. Holding an umbrella and a flashlight, he called out, "Who’s that? Oh, it’s Mom who’s here! Co in quickly, don’t catch a cold. Here, have so hot sweet drink. How did you get here? Didn’t you drive?"
Jing Shu smiled and said, "We ca in a motorho. It’s a bit big, so we parked outside because it couldn’t fit."
"Oh, then co in quick. The Doctor is checking on her now. She seems to be in bad shape," Uncle wasn’t focused on this conversation and had not paid any attention to Jing Shu’s motorho.
"Not too good"... that ant the pregnant woman was having complications.
