Su ii added fuel to the fire. "It’s really a disaster sent from heaven. The old lady was eaten by the rotten corpse insects until only her clothes remained, one was twisted beyond recognition, and the other was covered in knife wounds... How terribly the family of that old lady and Liu Dong cried when they discovered the bodies! They all said that once they found the murderer, they would cut him to pieces."

Su ii’s words dropped like a huge rock into the sea, creating massive waves.

Shi Zi from Unit 21-1-02 typed, "I was wondering why five people suddenly went missing in the community. After Wang Qiqi reported the disappearances, we even took things like bedding, clothes, and bowls from three other people’s hos. Shouldn’t the people who took their belongings stand up and seek justice for them now?"

Zhang Feng from Unit 3-3-03 posted, "@Xiao Shu’s Villa District, I just found out a few days ago that those five people were cruelly murdered. Turns out it was you! You’re always so good at pretending."

Zhu Fan from Unit 7-5-01 added, "Shocking! Is it the distortion of human nature or the degeneration of morals that led a young girl in her pri to murder her neighbors?"

Suddenly, the chat group exploded. Su ii was enjoying this mont imnsely. First, I’ll throw a bucket of dirty water, then slap a big accusation on her, and see how she tries to turn this around. Hmph! You think you’re a match for ?

The group imdiately erupted with all sorts of comnts, which quickly escalated into argunts. So of the old lady’s relatives even threatened to kill Jing Shu.

Soone nad "I Have a Baby No.13" chid in, "Don’t talk nonsense without evidence! When my family of three was on the brink of death, it was Jing Shu who took us to the hospital in the middle of the night. She watched over my child all night and saved our entire family! How could such a person possibly torture and kill others?"

Wang Xue i spoke up. "When my house was robbed, it was @Xiao Shu’s Villa District who brought us food. Later, when I was assaulted, this sa person avenged . She’s a hundred tis better than you lot who only talk and do nothing! If anyone dares to spread nonsense again, don’t bla for coming at you with a knife. The governnt ans jack squat to ! All I know is that this person helped when my whole family was dying."

Fat Girl No.25 posted, "It was @Xiao Shu’s Villa District who traded frogs to us. Now my house doesn’t have a single maggot or rotten corpse insect. Weren’t there many people who benefited from her back then? Why do you all believe that woman (Su ii) after she just said a few words?"

Wang Qiqi typed, "Everyone, quiet down for a mont. Let’s hear what @Xiao Shu’s Villa District has to say. We shouldn’t judge the situation based on just one person’s remark."

Jing Shu coldly observed how things unfolded. A person truly sees the nature of those around them only when they are in trouble. She detested those who started uproars without investigating, acting as if they already knew the truth based on a single remark.

Jing Shu rapidly typed on her phone.

"Su ii, since reports are now made with real nas, please tell who filed this report. I want to confront them. How did they know so clearly that I was there from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.? And, if they saw , what exactly were *they* doing there during that ti?"

Su ii retorted, "Of course, they reported you because they saw you lingering there committing the cri!"

Jing Shu continued, "Then I’d like to ask, if that person saw committing the cri, why didn’t they imdiately call the corpse-reporting hotline? They could have earned a lot of work points. Why wait for many days until soone else discovered the bodies? Your story doesn’t add up. You should use your brain a little when you’re trying to fra soone."

Jing Shu squinted and smirked. The public still didn’t know about the big data surveillance; it was classified information.

Why? To trap even more people.

Su ii was so frustrated she couldn’t figure out how to explain, and she certainly didn’t dare reveal the truth about the big data surveillance. Suddenly, an idea struck her.

"Jing Shu!" she accused. "Your dad works at the farm and brings ho dozens of eggs every day. Your mom is with the Managent Departnt and brings all sorts of vegetables ho daily. I’m not wrong, am I? Let’s get a few people from the group to go with and visit your house. Then we’ll see if I’m telling the truth! If you don’t dare open the door, it ans you’re guilty!"

If everyone was struggling for water and eating Five Grain Worms, they might feel a sense of shared hardship. But when Su ii suddenly claid that this family in the villa district ate eggs and vegetables daily, and had so many delicious things at ho, half the people in the group turned green with envy.

Several people imdiately volunteered, hoping to fish in troubled waters and steal so food. Of course, a few more conscientious ones, who had received favors from Jing Shu before, spoke up fairly, "If her family can afford to raise frogs, what’s wrong with trading for so food?"

"I’m going!" Shi Zi declared.

" too!" Zhang Feng added.

"Count in," Zhu Fan chid.

Still, they couldn’t stop those whose eyes were red with envy over the food. Su ii imdiately set off with three of them. I need to think about how to fra Jing Shu, she sched.

Refusing to open the door ans non-cooperation. We can report it, and her offense will be upgraded. If we go in and find a lot of stuff they can’t explain, they’ll have to hand it all over. Bringing these people along also serves as witnesses, to prevent them from getting violent like last ti.

As Su ii, sweating but in high spirits, led the small group, excitedly discussing how they would deal with Jing Shu, she suddenly felt a numbness at the back of her neck, followed by a piercing pain.

At the sa ti, she seed to hear a buzzing sound near her ear. Then, her arms, legs, and face felt as if they were being pricked by needles, and Su ii scread.

"Damn it, what is this? Flies?"

"Since when do flies bite people? Run, they look like bees!" one of them yelled.

The group had only just realized what was happening when it was already too late. The weather had led to an abundance of maggots, and consequently, many flies. They had grown accustod to the constant buzzing and hadn’t paid it much attention. Only after being stung did they realize these definitely weren’t flies.

Even though Su ii felt intense pain all over her body, she ran with the others towards the community security room, finally shaking off the swarm of bees there. Gasping for air, Su ii blinked. Her vision was suddenly blocked. She touched her eye and jumped in fright.

For so reason, her eyes had swollen into large lumps, and she couldn’t see a thing. The slightest touch brought imdiate, sharp pain, making Su ii shiver.

Only after reaching the security room did the four of them begin to scream in pain. Su ii’s mouth had also been stung, and she couldn’t speak clearly, only managing incomprehensible mumbles. The pain was growing, accompanied by an intense itch. Finally unable to bear it, Su ii lightly scratched one of the stings. POP! A large welt burst.

Pus imdiately oozed out. Su ii scread in agony. She felt not only blind but also as if her body was growing heavier and heavier.

Jing Shu erged from the darkness. Watching Su ii’s tornted state, she couldn’t help but smile. Among the four, Su ii is suffering the most. I made sure to give her so special attention.

"Oh dear," Jing Shu said, feigning concern. "What seems to have happened to you all?"
