Chaos power originated from the Chaos Furnace, which their Father God had spoken to them about. The Chaos Furnace is the chaotic place of this world, simply put, it serves as the junction for all problematic elents of the world.
The unique junction point ford the region known as the Chaos Furnace, where creatures inside it would beco stronger due to the chaotic environnt. In such chaotic conditions, anything could happen, and all sorts of possibilities could erge.
However, creatures tainted with chaos power would also be affected by the chaos.
Even the Luminous Holy Maiden or other demigods were no exceptions; being more powerful rely ant it was easier to resist the influence of chaos power. But once affected, it was another matter entirely.
Zheng Yichen, however, wielded chaos power. Did this an that the young man in front of him was, in a sense, a Chaos creature now?
"Do not misunderstand, Lillian just finds this very unbelievable." Alphis Luminous hastily explained on the side. Beings possessing chaos power could be defined as Chaos creatures, but Zheng Yichen seed to show no sign of chaos, which was a marvel.
"Thinking it’s unbelievable ans you underestimate ," Zheng Yichen smiled. "Shall we return first then?"
"Let’s return," Nelliwey nodded. Since the goal was achieved, staying here held little aning, although they felt it might not be entirely appropriate.
There were simply too many spectators. Yet this event could not be hidden; the God’s Corpse had already appeared twice, and both tis were related to Zheng Yichen. He had long beco the focus of attention, and as soon as they left Landen, he would definitely attract even more notice.
They couldn’t possibly expect Zheng Yichen to kill all those demigods, could they?
But returning would not be so easy now.
Seeing how Zheng Yichen dealt with the fragnts of the God’s Corpse without being affected by the vile curse, so True Gods could no longer hold back. They knew if they missed this chance, there would be none left. Once Zheng Yichen returned, he would certainly attract the attention of other godly powers.
As for the previous attention... It was average.
It was no big deal if so demigods perished; what the world did not lack was demigods. The death of True Gods, however, was a massive event.
Therefore, Zheng Yichen who caused all this would not attract the attention of all True Gods, except for those who knew of Zheng Yichen’s true origin, but these gods all kept it secret.
Now was different. The God’s Corpse could be said to be the most direct threat to True Gods; that thing was hard to kill and should not be killed. If left unchecked as it eroded and strengthened the environnt, it would beco more formidable, until even True Gods could not overco it.
That thing was like a nuclear bomb in any True God’s Divine Kingdom.
"My lord Halers grants you an audience—"
"I’m not going!" Zheng Yichen promptly interrupted the demigod blocking his way, without even asking whom the entity behind the demigod was. If soone wanted to communicate normally with him, they would not start with such an opening, granting him an audience.
As if he were eager to go! Moreover, the deanor of the other party made it seem as if he was picking up a great deal.
When the demigod was interrupted by Zheng Yichen, he did not show any irritation; his face did not change, and he retained his characteristic arrogance. The True God who was watching over him was completely in his presence!
Moreover, he had achieved his goal. Sotis, offending a True God could be that simple—simple enough that even a straightforward rejection was an offense!
As for the question of face? Since the other party, as a mortal or a demigod, had already offended a True God, not doing anything would rather not uphold face. As for reputation among True Gods?
That actually mattered even less.
So True Gods already had bad reputations, and if it weren’t for the Luminous Holy Maiden accompanying Zheng Yichen, they wouldn’t even need to find a reason.
Crack— The environnt around them suddenly changed. Nelliwey’s expression shifted abruptly, "Are you planning to declare war on the Luminous Church?!"
"Ha ha ha, how could a divine war start so casually?" The demigod facing Zheng Yichen laughed heartily, yet he retreated warily toward the back. He had achieved his purpose, and what followed was not sothing he could handle alone.
At least not to confront Zheng Yichen alone.
But as he retreated, Zheng Yichen had already acted with even greater speed. Against those who clearly ca to provoke, Zheng Yichen wouldn’t usually pay them the sa courtesy; he would simply cut them down.
This habit had developed after becoming the Dusk Proxy Agent; all the tasks he undertook were always urgent.
Except for when he started out and still thought of following the normal procedures, the more experiences he encountered, the more he opted for straightforward actions.
The distortion of the surroundings indicated a warp, interwoven with a force that ddled with the environnt. This was no corrosive malice like that of the God’s Corpse affecting reality but a real interference inherent to the Divine Domain.
This was the strength held by a True God. As soon as such power appeared, it brought intense pressure to Nelliwey and others ready to act, though the True God taking action did not seem to specifically target them.
Once a True God acted, their identity would be revealed. There was no reason to harm the Luminous Holy Maiden, especially not in such circumstances. Directly harming the Luminous Holy Maiden would be like slapping the Luminous Supre God’s face, equivalent to an adult hitting soone else’s child in front of their parents.
