In the office of Koric at the Magic Academy, the vice-principal prepared so tea and then asked, "Your Excellency Chang Qing, what’s your opinion on Demigods?"
"Compared to ordinary professionals, Demigods are luckier, aren’t they? They are born with powers that others don’t possess. Are you worried I will continue to target Demigods?"
"No, what we are more concerned about is you targeting all Demigods." Koric shook his head. It didn’t matter to him that Zheng Yichen acted against Demigods as long as he could deal with the aftermath, making him no different from those Demigods not on the bounty list.
The Demigods he killed weren’t exactly saints, and those in City of Dawn Light might be considered exceptions. However, when it cos to conflicts, you don’t necessarily have to take sides; under those circumstances, Zheng Yichen’s actions could be entirely seen as ’forced retaliation’.
A few Demigods dying in this world doesn’t affect anything, but if Zheng Yichen starts to treat targeting Demigods like a habit, then Troia Magic Academy would truly need to ’avoid’ him. They could withstand the pressure, but they wouldn’t actively seek it out if Zheng Yichen insisted on being suicidal.
If Zheng Yichen only targeted Demigods from the Evil Faction, that wouldn’t be too problematic. By doing so, he would surely gain the support of the Order Faction, which is in the majority in this world compared to the minor presence of the Evil Faction.
"That was circumstantial, it won’t happen again in the future, but if there’s a corresponding commission, I may consider it." Seeing Koric’s expression stiffen, Zheng Yichen added with a smile, "I’m referring only to those Demigods that are not good people, the kind that pose a great threat to the human race’s stance. After all, I am human too."
Koric’s face relaxed a bit. Zheng Yichen’s words were sowhat arrogant, but considering his achievents, he indeed had the right to say so.
"Thirteen Demigods have died in less than a month; even those from the Evil Faction will start to exercise so restraint."
Zheng Yichen quickly added, "I only killed ten; the remaining three have nothing to do with ."
He could still rember that number clearly. Demigods aren’t cabbages waiting to be chopped. How could he mistake it?

"Ahem, it seems that those Demigods really weren’t popular." Koric coughed lightly. He didn’t believe Zheng Yichen would lie about such a matter, but the information they received did indeed confirm that thirteen Demigods had died recently.
Since Zheng Yichen said so, the remaining three were probably killed by soone taking advantage of the situation. With Zheng Yichen standing tall as a target, a few less Demigods would go unnoticed.
And if quiet enough, the matter may ultimately be pinned on Zheng Yichen.
Honor?
That’s hardly an honor; after all, what Demigod doesn’t have a family? Dragon Slayers are a different story. So dragons with sins appear on the bounty list, and killing them is considered honorable, with the Dragon Tribe not reacting and even providing so reward.
To kill a Demigod and then make a big deal out of it, isn’t that just provoking the relatives of the Demigod?
Normally, no one wants to catch the hostile attention of a True God.
"If you all have any Demigods you want dead, you can co to , assuming the victim ets my criteria. Of course, you should prepare a good bounty; Demigods are expensive," Zheng Yichen said.
Koric’s expression beca grave as he emphasized, "Located in the City of Peace, Troia Magic Academy has always been neutral. As long as no one provokes us, we do not interfere with other entities!"
"Does this ’we’ include the students in the academy?"
Koric continued to clarify, "It includes students who are inside and outside the academy who have not committed cris or been expelled. While instructing students, the academy naturally provides them with high-quality protection."
"Then it looks like I picked a good school."
Before long, Zheng Yichen left the office, and reaching for Katrina’s hand, he said, "Let’s go back."
On the way back, Katrina whispered, "Are we coming back here tomorrow?"

Landen being known as the City of Peace signifies that this place will never lean towards the Evil Faction; it belongs to the neutral and Order Factions.
If soone indeed causes trouble here, they would have to see if they dare to make a move.
For a Demigod to act here would be a direct provocation to the True God endorsing this city.
Also, this place relates to the luminous True Gods. While not dominated by a single True God faction like the City of Dawn Light but watched over by multiple True God factions, each of these watching gods has a heavy punch.
So here, as long as they don’t disrupt public order, even Demigods that hold a grudge against Zheng Yichen wouldn’t dare act because of the potential repercussions, with most content to settle scores outside the city limits.
Incidentally, Landen’s city lord is also a Demigod.
Returning to his residence, it had been nearly half a month since Zheng Yichen had been there, and the second floor had undergone a drastic change. With technology and magic intertwined, Ahn Ke was imrsed in so research dressed lightly, not noticing Zheng Yichen’s return.

"Hmm? You’re back?" Ahn Ke completed the task at hand, felt sothing off with the light around her, and imdiately looked back, "Is your business done?"
