"Hm? Is it already dawn?" When Zheng Yichen opened his eyes, the sky had already brightened, and Klakauska was staring blankly at a fire not far away, with the corner of so folded clothes peeking out from the opened Universal Toolbox on the motorcycle.
He picked them up, put them on, and ca to the side of the fire dragon, Zheng Yichen asked, "You haven’t rested all night?"
"I’m not in the mood, I’ve completely lost the most important part of my life."
Klakauska spoke despondently. After repeatedly confirming last night that the curse he had suffered could not be restored, the sense of fulfillnt inside him turned into a big blockage, causing a bit of suffocation.
"What are we going to do about it? Should I take you to Hell for another round, kill that guy one more ti?"
"Don’t joke, would you leave that kind of opportunity for him?" Klakauska waved his hand. "What I’m thinking is, now that I’ve beco a Dusk rcenary, I might as well try using those rit points you ntioned."
Zheng Yichen nodded slightly. "That’s one way to go. We’re heading back to Landen City, you can just ask around when we get there."
"Great, great, let’s hurry on."
Klakauska got up, eager to leave. Out of boredom last night, he had several intermittent conversations with the Dragon Tribe and incidentally received special information. There was indeed a True God preparing to take notice of Zheng Yichen.
"Then I’ll find an opportunity to steal the dragon egg for you."
He didn’t intend to renege on this. Even if Zheng Yichen hadn’t brought it up proactively, since he had already promised, he needed to fulfill it. However, this would have to wait until after the Dragon Tribe had given Zheng Yichen his due— it’s not like he was indifferent.
The Dragon Tribe had not helped him with his revenge, but Zheng Yichen had managed it. Although it was due to Zheng Yichen’s fewer concerns, the fact remained the sa.
"Hahaha, no rush for that."
The man and dragon began their journey ho. Zheng Yichen had a relaxed expression; the most important business of coming here was done. He had also dealt with many Demigods, which enhanced the abilities he had previously accumulated, increasing his foundational strength and Performance Coefficient.
Even though the rate of enhancent was far less rapid than before, it made sense—the higher the level, the more difficult it becos to level up.
If the rate of advancent continued to soar rapidly, it would only indicate that the upper limits of this world are far beyond his expectations. The speed of his progress showed that he had not yet reached the slower progression tier of this world.
Not the topmost tier.
"Sister, he’s gone." In the City of Dawn Light, after Zheng Yichen left, they observed it too. Zheng Yichen had not concealed his tracks, and many had paid attention to his whereabouts from the previous night, even using so rather unsavory surveillance thods that didn’t turn out well.
No one died, but those people felt like they had been hit by a high-speed car, paying a hefty price.
Their thod of observation was much simpler—Zheng Yichen was right there, they could simply use remote magnification to watch.
There was no need for sneaky and shaful tactics, the Luminous faction had an advantage in observational thods.
"Then let’s set out as well," the Luminous Holy Maiden said as she rose to her feet. "I have already received instructions from Father God; he is soone who needs to be watched."
```
The Luminous Holy Maiden found it not difficult to contact their highest superior, the Luminous God, but they were no longer children and naturally would not bother "Father" without good reason.
They would only take the initiative to make contact for important matters, and occasionally they would participate in "Holy Communion Day." While others saw it that way, at the beginning, they believed the sa, but over ti, they grew accustod to it. What others regarded as Holy Communion Day was like a family dinner to them.
Most Luminous Holy Maidens were either orphans or girls who had overco adversity. There were many such individuals; rescuing one today could lead to several more tomorrow. Their Father God did not remain idle in light of this situation.
Not every rescued person would beco a Luminous Holy Maiden, but they could indeed change their lives. Of course, this assistance was mainly aid at those willing to help themselves, for if the person in question gave up on self-help, then any rescue would only be temporary.
"Sister, is he really human?" the younger Luminous Holy Maiden asked, sowhat taken aback.
Not everyone could beco a Luminous Holy Maiden or a Saint Heir, not because the Main God of the luminous faction was unfair, but because not everyone was suited or capable of withstanding and adapting to Divine Power.
Having beco Luminous Holy Maidens, they were no longer ordinary humans but Divinity creatures.
"He is human, but the Light crystal we brought back doesn’t contain any Divine Power, only traces of Divinity’s influence."
That power was already strong, but it was not true Divine Power. Divine Power is sothing all Divinity creatures have to so extent; it’s just the proportion that differs.
For beings with weaker Divinity, Divine Power is like sugar water with just a hint of sweetness—sugar is present, but it is mostly water. For those with strong Divinity, Divine Power is like a solid sugar cube.
The Light crystal left by Zheng Yichen did not carry Divine Power, but its quality was no less than that of the residue of attacks driven by Divine Power. The presence of Divinity’s influence on that power was as if the power itself had been ’forged’ by Divinity—it wasn’t Divine Power, but its quality was already on the level of Divine Power.
"Is that why Father God is paying so much attention to him?"
"I don’t know, and the True Gods concerned with him are not only our Father God," the older Luminous Holy Maiden shook her head. The Luminous Supre God had transmitted to her that Zheng Yichen was not a ’Demigod’, but his substantial pure Divinity would not go unnoticed simply because he was not a Demigod.
The Luminous Supre God had not given her too much information, but the limited info she had received included the part about Zheng Yichen being able to slay so True Gods. As for how the Luminous Supre God made such a judgnt, it was naturally because she and her sister had been fully involved in Zheng Yichen’s battle, which was tantamount to the Luminous Supre God personally watching the fight.
Father God’s attention may not be solely for these reasons... but she did not speculate too much on Father God’s thoughts. Since Father God’s instruction was to firstly keep an eye on the one capable of using the black reversal light, they would not take any overly superfluous actions.
Normal contact would suffice.
Zheng Yichen, looking at the special ’light barrier’ above Landen City, said to the fire dragon that had landed beside him, "We’re back, and I’ve just thought of a new way to make a fortune."
"What is it?" The fire dragon glanced at Zheng Yichen, "With your current reputation, there are heaps of people who would rush to give you money, and even many emperors of kingdoms would think about sending their daughters to your bed, with a hefty dowry to boot."
"That’s a trade of interests. What I’m talking about is making money through skill!" Zheng Yichen had a wisp of pale red power swirling around his fingertip, his own Life Power. As to why the external manifestation of his Life Power was red rather than another color, it might vary from person to person.
Mixing Life Power with the Life essence stored within him, he could attempt to create so special Life crystals. They might not be as grand as a Holy Relic of Life, but they were still treasures. He had to test out any newly acquired power.
