The fire dragon really hoped that Zheng Yichen would grow stronger and maintain his peak condition so that it could return to its world with him and go on a killing spree.
"How long will it take for you to recover?"
"Actually, this doesn’t really affect my condition. I can leave at any ti," Zheng Yichen raised his right hand.
After a brief silence, the fire dragon shook its head, "Forget it, it’s better if you wait until you’ve fully recovered before we talk about this. I’m not in a rush. Otherwise, we can wait for the next opportunity."
With the chance for revenge right before its eyes, the fire dragon appeared even more rational.
"Alright, I’ll take the ti to heal properly," Zheng Yichen said with a smile as he put away the fragnt. How one viewed a fragnt no longer mattered. Ahn Ke had his own understanding, and the fire dragon had its explanations.
But ultimately, the reason he knew so much was simply due to Zheng Yichen’s own curiosity, which was now satisfied. The rest didn’t matter as much anymore, he might as well focus on healing...
On his way back, he made a stop at the Dusk Cathedral and entrusted Tia with so items—twenty good Great Evil God fragnts. After pondering, Zheng Yichen priced them at 1 rit point each and then left the Dusk Cathedral.
Such items could be used as enhancent material, but Zheng Yichen wasn’t clear about what the results of the enhancent would be. However, he knew that these items wouldn’t make a significant difference to his own power improvent, a fact he confird from Tia.
Yet, these items would be greatly beneficial when used to enhance Dusk rcenaries.
In Dusk, almost any biological material could be used as enhancent material, but Dusk rcenaries would always select the best option for enhancent; no one wanted to haphazardly enhance themselves with garbage.
Even if there was so improvent in the early stages, a lack of potential to improve later would an they’d need to use Dusk’s power to strip off the original enhancent materials.
Both adding and subtracting would consu rit points, and obtaining rit points was not an easy task for Dusk rcenaries.
For Zheng Yichen, parting with so fragnts didn’t really affect him. He had an abundance of such fragnts and selling so off for a quick profit while also boosting the local Dusk rcenaries’ strength was a win-win situation.
However, the rit points gained through trades would not be counted towards the total rit points. These were extra rit points. Even if Zheng Yichen received thousands, or tens of thousands, they would still be considered extra, just like normally obtained rit points.
How Zheng Yichen wanted to use them was his choice, but these points wouldn’t affect Dusk’s count, nor would they have any connection to the retention opportunities granted every 400 points.
As for selling all the Great Evil God fragnts he had put out, he didn’t know how much ti that would take. In other worlds? There’s even less chance in other worlds without a system like Zero World’s. Dusk rcenaries were few and thinking of earning more rit points through trading was wishful thinking.
As Zheng Yichen had predicted, not a single Great Evil God fragnt he left at the Dusk Cathedral sold on the first night, even though he had set the price very low at 1 rit point, with no additional monetary cost!
When Zheng Yichen ca the next day to inquire about the situation, he was stunned, "Are all the Dusk rcenaries here blind? Don’t they realize that’s a good item??"
Tia remained silent. Zheng Yichen rubbed his forehead with a hint of resignation, "Then let’s sell them slowly, I’m in no hurry."
Great Evil God fragnts, priced at 1 rit point each, but when used as bloodline enhancent material through Dusk, they required 20 rit points. Such items were already top-tier among bloodline materials. Bloodline enhancent itself was very expensive, sothing Zheng Yichen understood well when he had chosen Sky Pillar’s energy previously.
Using such material for personal enhancent cost five hundred points, whereas for equipnt enhancent, only one-tenth was needed.
As a Proxy Agent, he found it extrely difficult to manage, let alone the Dusk rcenaries. Enhancents of such calibre were virtually unattainable for them, even with a lifeti’s effort. Enhancent ranges up to several dozen rit points were the standard choice for Dusk rcenaries.
"Surely so smart ones will realize that investing in their own bodies is more important..."
"Is there anything else?" Tia asked, looking calm in the face of Zheng Yichen’s self-deception. What he said wasn’t wrong, but given the spending capacity of Dusk rcenaries, even with a large number in the Hazy City world, very few could truly afford it.
"Enhancing equipnt, huh? These fragnts are compatible with my equipnt, right?"
"There are no conflicts," Tia’s answer was very standard.
"Then that’s settled. I don’t mind adding more power to my equipnt..."
"25 rit points," Tia reported a number to Zheng Yichen for this round of enhancent. Of course, the enhancent was still aid at all of Zheng Yichen’s equipnt, and the consud material was two equivalent types of fragnts. Although it seed that the properties of these two types of fragnts were in conflict, the fragnts were inherently from the sa source.
The reason why the attributes were opposite was akin to the two sides of a coin, when used as enhancent material, Dusk could ignore that kind of influence; such was the nature of Dusk.
Zheng Yichen paid for this part of the rit points very decisively. After stripping off his equipnt, he ca to the storage locker area and put so things inside. The Great Evil God fragnts were very worthy of research, especially Ahn Ke’s understanding of them. Zheng Yichen felt it was quite intriguing.
Considering the Ark of Life could be derived from a Great Evil God fragnt, that was still limited to the technological analysis from Hazy City. If it were to be analyzed in a world with higher technology, who knows what could be discovered? Perhaps these things wouldn’t be of much help to him, but if they could help those worlds, that would suffice.
Isn’t cooperation just this kind of exchange?
Now that they had taken advantage of Zheng Yichen, for the ti being, there was no place where he seed in need. But when he truly needed help in a world for investnt purposes, they had better reciprocate the favor properly.
"What is this...? A Great Evil God fragnt?"
Chiang Wei looked at the newest item sent over by Zheng Yichen, then returned to her workspace. She glanced at several fully ard warriors, so of which were Dusk rcenaries preparing to depart, others just returned; such scenes had long since beco normal for her.
Too many people had been mobilized in their world. Although the number of Dusk rcenaries accounted for so far did not exceed two hundred, as ti passed, this number continued to steadily increase. Despite so Dusk rcenaries having fallen, as long as the number kept rising, it was considered good news.
Supported by the backing of a whole world, the logistical support for these Dusk rcenaries was excellent, and the death rate wasn’t so high. At the sa ti, these Dusk rcenaries also brought back a considerable amount of bounty to their world, such as martial arts knowledge Chiang Wei had co into contact with, as well as magic knowledge and other special abilities she had never seen before.
Besides that, there were various biological samples and novel materials.
These accumulations had a significant impact on their world.
After reviewing the related docunts, Chiang Wei couldn’t help exclaiming, "Wow, that’s extre—"
Chiang Wei was astonished by the origin of these items and then had her assistant take them away. She knew too little about this area; it was better to let the professionals analyze it. There are specialists in every field, and her main task now was the developnt of intelligent programs.
The birth of ’Doris’ resulted from many factors, making it difficult to replicate, but that didn’t stop her from using Doris as a base to develop new intelligent programs. The first field these intelligent programs were applied to was military use, with so native world Dusk rcenaries already using the newly developed programs.
But not long after, Chiang Wei was called away, leaving with so confusion: "What’s going on? This has little to do with , right? I’m not good at biological research..."
She could help with assembling Gundam, but she’d rather stay out of the biological stuff.
The young assistant beside Chiang Wei spoke with a soft and sweet voice, "It’s just a eting."
"I tend to fall asleep in that kind of place," Chiang Wei said with a hint of regret, but she didn’t say anything more. Upon arriving at the eting, she learned just how much of a ’sensation’ Zheng Yichen’s latest shipnt had caused. The data provided from the Hazy City side involved a concept regarding the Ark of Life.
On their side, so research had already been conducted on life. After preliminary research on the Great Evil God fragnt, the local officials planned to start a special life project.
Life Preservation Technology.
This technology’s frawork allowed those who died in battle to preserve their life in another form. As long as the Life disk of the deceased was recovered in ti, they could be resurrected.
Chiang Wei found it unbelievable, but the purpose of this eting was to acquaint her with this technology to a certain extent and then send so information over to Zheng Yichen’s side.
Zheng Yichen might not be interested in those docunts, but the research force on his side definitely would be. This was a form of exchange and could be considered as their ’report card.’ Now that Zheng Yichen could bring over such valuable things, if they couldn’t demonstrate sufficient capability, the local authorities were worried that Zheng Yichen might discontinue such ’investnts’ in the future.
"Just don’t give any wrong hints when handing over this stuff," Chiang Wei muttered, clutching her arms on the way back. The focus of the eting was on Life Preservation Technology, but there were quite a few hints directed at her, essentially suggesting that she should casually look for ways to interact with Zheng Yichen more.
The implication was to deepen the relationship, and her family affairs need not worry, as soone would take care of the necessary preparations. When it ca to matters of the world, personal issues were of less importance. They suggested so much just to get her to woo a man.
If it weren’t for the rather unique way she had t Zheng Yichen, their nudging would not be almost explicitly stated; they would be outright direct with their demands...
