In the world of fire dragons, there were quite a few demigods, mostly offspring of gods, humans, and so other special creatures. With gods already standing at a high level of life, how could humans give birth to divine descendants?
This isn’t Greek mythology... there must be a reason for such developnts.

"No worries, just co here more often with Eileena and you’ll get used to it. You don’t need to be as cautious about many things as before," Zheng Yichen said as he and Katrina indulged in a shopping spree, specially coming out to shop together.
When it cos to shopping, one must not hesitate, especially with beautiful clothes. Buying them for Katrina was a treat for Zheng Yichen’s eyes. As for jewelry, his ho really wasn’t lacking in that regard.
For Katrina, she enjoyed the process of strolling through the streets with Zheng Yichen more than shopping itself, experiencing eating at snack stalls with him, and going on amusent rides at adult amusent parks together.
Tired walking, they would sit together in a coffee shop, sipping coffee while enjoying the evening.
By the ti they headed back, it was deep into the night. The subway was sparsely populated, lending a desolate silence to the train. The television was broadcasting so news programs and weather reports.

"Shh, I’ll take you there," Zheng Yichen’s finger pressed against the white-haired girl’s lips. He then carried her sideways and used his concealnt ability, which didn’t make him invisible but could hide personal aura. Thermal vision allowed him to locate other people within the fog.
Blood Perception enhanced the effect of thermal vision, allowing them to easily bypass the people’s blockade and silently enter the center of the phenonon within the fog. Seeing that the girl hadn’t passed out, Zheng Yichen continued to move forward.
"Such a strange pressure," Katrina said puzzledly. She felt an uncomfortable pressure when they completely passed through the phenonon, then she felt her magic power being released and rapidly strengthening.

"The pressure brought by the otherworldly phenonon is overwhelming, even if one has adaptability to it, passing through multiple phenona in succession would be intolerable," Zheng Yichen explained. This was a long-standing issue, and the pressure wasn’t fixed; it varied according to each individual’s existence.
In general, it was a percentage-based influence. Once accumulated to a certain extent, even the strongest people would struggle to withstand the pressure from the phenona. Zheng Yichen himself, however, didn’t feel any substantial effects.
He had always been able to leap through them repeatedly.
"What kind of world is this?" Katrina asked full of curiosity.
Zheng Yichen looked toward the approaching heat source. "It seems to be a world that’s not very friendly—"
"Roar—" A monster looking like an alien charged over, emitting a piercing roar. Before it could act any further, it was impaled through the mouth by a black spear. With one arm wrapped around the white-haired girl beside him, Zheng Yichen walked through the oncoming monster attacks as if strolling in a park.
At first, Katrina was a bit panicked, but she soon leaned against Zheng Yichen’s embrace, her eyes wide open as she watched him eradicate the monsters. In less than a minute, dozens of monsters were pinned to the ground.
Blood seeped from the black spear, gathering in Zheng Yichen’s free hand, while the souls of the monsters were manipulated by soul control. However, these souls were exceptionally weak, which made Zheng Yichen lose interest after one glance.
Souls that were too weak, even with his soul control correction, wouldn’t improve much. After the correction, he guessed that they probably wouldn’t be able to sustain a ’Hellfire’ body.
"I’ve noticed that my luck has always been bad. The worlds I co in contact with through the phenona always have problems, more or less."
Zheng Yichen retracted the black spears, looking sowhat helpless at the monster corpses turned to dust. He had hoped this place would be more romantic, but the reality was quite a slap in the face; everything here was far from normal.

"These monsters’ souls are very unusual," Katrina observed, looking at the souls controlled by Zheng Yichen. "It’s like they were forcibly shaped like this, too uniform."

He only felt that these souls were very similar, without noting much detail.
"Let try first." Katrina attempted to use Blessing Magic. She wasn’t too dependent on casting materials anymore. Although drawing a magic array formation would enhance the magic’s effect, it wasn’t far off without one.
Under the influence of the Blessing Magic, the surface of the souls began to show ’cracks,’ and as these cracks shattered, deford new souls appeared. The condition of these souls was akin to cramming a person into a jar, waiting for them to adapt to the jar, and then shattering it.
Katrina covered her mouth involuntarily. "This is too cruel."

The souls dominated by soul control lost their external shell, yet each of the souls was grotesquely deford.
Zheng Yichen tried pulling on a soul with soul control, but that nearly caused it to fall apart. Obviously, the thod of violently forcing them was futile. On the other hand, Katrina adjusted her Blessing Magic and took a deep breath. "The Blessing Magic can help them, but it will take ti. On this mountain-like tree were countless fruits, and from afar, one could see flying monsters constantly bringing people over. These struggling people were flung onto the tree. Upon contact, a part of their bodies dissolved, sticking to the tree, and then their skin continued to dissolve, turning into new fruits on the tree.
Modern clothes were not falling from the sky...
