They didn’t see much of an issue with their second brother, Ahn Tianlu, coming here to ask for these devices; after all, he had supported them in matters related to the Proxy Agents before.
Moreover, these devices could be more effectively utilized in Ahn Tianlu’s hands. If he could fully understand the devices, it would lead to a comprehensive enhancent.
"We’ve settled it, but second brother is too greedy," Ahn Ke remarked, glancing at the calm Ahn Tianlu. "Even after sending him all the research materials, he still cos here to compete for the gifts we sisters received."
The latter simply pushed his glasses up slightly, "In the specialized fields, if you don’t strive for advancent, you get left behind. Those research materials are too advanced, and having tangible foundations could significantly reduce the ti needed for research."
As for completely mastering it... He didn’t make any preposterous claims. Or, they could try to integrate as much of the newly acquired technology as possible. Ahn Tianlu was already accustod to this sort of adaptation, as many of the Ahn family’s technologies were accumulated by continuously obtaining technological knowledge from other worlds.
Their technological foundation was primarily based on compatibility. The newly obtained research might be difficult to fully comprehend, but implenting it wasn’t too arduous; the most they could expect was to fall short of the prototype’s efficiency.
And he disagreed with Ahn Ke’s comnt. What did she an by him trying to take the gifts the sisters received? Were those really gifts? Besides, he barely spared a glance for those biological materials.
This was a rational distribution of resources through contention!
"If there’s nothing else, I’ll be leaving now." Ahn Tianlu did not stay long, for while his goal wasn’t completely achieved, it t his expectations. Hence, he needed to quickly finish his own pending projects or hand them off to soone else to dedicate ti to these new studies.
As for the Proxy Agents that his sister was concerned about? He had no intention of getting involved, and certainly wasn’t about to stir up trouble by whispering in certain people’s ears. Accordingly, those who had been fanning the flas had been dealt with by him, not so much to purge the instability around him but rather due to his irritation with them buzzing around and pestering him for no good reason.
Once he cleared them out, peace returned to his surroundings, and he had more ti to focus on his own matters.
"How is he doing? I have sothing important to discuss with him," Ahn Ke asked Ahn Longling. It was she who had been visiting most frequently lately, not Ahn Qi anymore.
Ahn Qi was still recuperating, and unless it was necessary, she wouldn’t co every day.

Beyond these studies, there was the ’generation’ research of the Essence of Life – this substance couldn’t simply be created by accumulating Life Force, but required unique conditions. Their world had several ans of rely replenishing Life Force.
This ti, Zheng Yichen brought back a Life Force extraction device that could decompose living organisms to extract a kind of Life substance. The materials used in the device were not limited, which made it easy for people to imagine it being used for nefarious purposes.

Upon learning of Zheng Yichen’s return and being eager to find him, Ahn Ke wanted precisely for this reason, to see if Zheng Yichen could produce new Essence of Life on his own through her research findings.
The turmoil caused by the Essence of Life in Hazy City had not yet subsided, and here she had already co out with a good number of results. Even with confidentiality, the beneficiaries within the family itself constituted a kind of disclosure of information.
This led to her situation becoming dangerous once more, so much so that she had to have Ahn Longling follow her whenever she went out. She wasn’t the one who went to the Dusk Cathedral to et Zheng Yichen previously for the sa reason.
