The appearance of the enemy hadn’t changed, but in thermal vision, the body was in a sort of ’overlapping’ state. In this state, the enemy’s aura was very strong... but Zheng Yichen felt a bit disappointed after observing for a while.
This kind of Descent didn’t seem to directly alter the Breakers’ physiques; it was just an augntation of strength, not like the Devourers—a heavy use of Sky Pillar’s energy would lead to significant mutations in the body.
Under such conditions, Zheng Yichen could have exploited the side effects. However, from the display of this Breaker’s strength, if the power used was too strong, it should have so impact on the host as well.
"You’re disappointed!?" The Boundary Breaker, who had arrived in this world through the Descent of God Technique, was staring at Zheng Yichen. After Zheng Yichen showed a hint of disappointnt, the Breaker noticed and felt as though he was being looked down upon.
This Breaker suddenly raised a hand, the earth trembled for a mont, and then... there was no "then."
Zheng Yichen took a quick look at the state of the earth. The land was already devoid of life force; the Breaker possessed so sort of Soil-earth type power, but when that power acted on the desolate earth, its effect was virtually nil.
Therefore, the Breaker had chosen the wrong battleground, and Zheng Yichen directly took a shot at him with his spear.
The bullet, endowed with a crushing force field, reached its target in an instant, striking the Breaker’s head with precision. The head of the Breaker jerked back significantly, to Zheng Yichen’s surprise, the shot didn’t truly penetrate the defenses.
It only wounded the Breaker. As the bullet hit him, the thermal sources on his body concentrated intensely, successfully blocking the force field-carrying bullet, and the burst of power even suppressed the crushing force field’s power.
This guy was formidable?
Zheng Yichen imdiately took off from the ground, his body cloaked in an energy mbrane from Burst Mode, the cutting force field of the Army Decimating battle saber fully activated. As the blade was about to make contact with the Breaker, earthy yellow ripples surged over the foe’s body.
The advance of the Army Decimating battle saber slowed, and the Breaker, with a bloodied forehead, twitched his eye corner fiercely as if he saw sothing unbelievable. He wasn’t focused on the slowly advancing battle saber but was instead looking at the Blood Asura inner force applied to it.
The Breaker reached out to slap the Army Decimating battle saber; his palm was coated in a more tangible earthy yellow power. When the palm and saber collided, a symphonic clashing sound resounded, with shockwaves spreading outward.
Zheng Yichen felt the weapon beco slightly heavier, then with a burst of Inner Strength and Burst Mode, he lifted the Army Decimating battle saber upwards, slashing through the layer of earthy power, severing the palm in half and sending it flying.
The wounded Breaker seed oblivious to the pain, his severed palm rapidly regenerating. Zheng Yichen had gotten a sense of the Breaker’s state.
There was no question that the opponent was powerful. The top-tier individual weapons in this world could harm the Breaker, but firearms, with fixed damage, struggled to deliver a fatal blow. A close-quarters battle was needed to settle the score.
This was a Breaker who excelled in defense, and his protective power had so kind of special force that allowed his Soil-earth power to beco more resistant. It felt to Zheng Yichen like a super-diluted form of the Sky Pillar’s energy.
Or perhaps it was a further advancent of power, like what Tia once ntioned—the Unity of Heaven and Man? Whether the Breaker in front of him qualified as that level, Zheng Yichen wasn’t sure, but his weapons had been enhanced using the Sky Pillar’s energy as a material.

Zheng Yichen’s figure abruptly vanished from the eyes of the Boundary Breaker, whose eyes widened slightly as soil-earth colored ripples spread out, the air around Zheng Yichen, who was moving at ultra-high speed, beca denser.
However, this heaviness was soon shattered by the spatial distortion; even though the slight twists in space did not seem lethal and possessed strong resistance to external attacks, they posed no obstacle to Zheng Yichen, the one responsible for the distortion.
At least, they posed no obstacle when he needed it to be that way.
Moreover, he had received the blood of the Wolf God and had the ability to feedback from the Wolf God, which enhanced his spatial perception, allowing him to accelerate even faster in the minutely twisted space.
This was also his first ti using this tactic in actual combat.
His speed first slowed, then suddenly increased, and before the Boundary Breaker could react, Zheng Yichen chopped off one of his arms, the Boundary Breaker’s face shifted slightly as he quickly put so distance between himself and Zheng Yichen, but Zheng Yichen bit down hard on him, not letting the Boundary Breaker shake him off.
"Mad dog—" the Boundary Breaker who had co to this world through a Descent of God had not finished his sentence when another arm was torn off, hanging from the black spear and quickly withering away.
The Boundary Breaker stopped talking, his soil-earth powers burst forth, forming a barrier in front of him to counter the slowly advancing black spear, and soon, sharp spikes appeared on that power.
Faced with this oncoming strike, Zheng Yichen quickly retreated, dodged, and before the Boundary Breaker could react, the long spear pierced through his body from behind.
The Boundary Breaker felt the blood of his vessel rapidly draining, and he slapped the long spear piercing through his body, putting so distance between himself and Zheng Yichen.
Gasping slightly, he stared at Zheng Yichen who seed crazed, and let out a breath without saying another word. The intelligence on Zheng Yichen seed to be updated too slowly, no, it should be said that the growth rate of this Proxy Agent was too fast.
In a short ti, he had acquired so many new powers; Proxy Agents who take the path of blood tend to grow in unexpected ways. He initially ca over because his own powers had a restraining effect on Zheng Yichen.
