Three rather standard-looking weapons were brought over by a Dusk nun. The specifications of these swords were similar to those of the previously crafted Fire Dragon Scale Sword, but now these were genuine Supre Demon Weapons.
They were made with materials from multiple Supre Demons, along with so blood containing Sky Pillar’s energy as an enhancent material.
As for the appearance of the weapons, honestly, high-end weapons don’t need to be so flashy and over the top. It’s the substance that counts. Making them look too cool would just alert others to their potency, prompting them to be on guard.
In comparison, these sowhat standardized weapons seed more practical. The Army Decimating series of weapons that Zheng Yichen had acquired in this world may have had a distinct sci-fi feel, but they still retained that ’mass-produced’ style.
Additionally, the specialized Army Decimating battle saber he took compared basically the sa as any other, with the only real difference lying in the paint job.
Zheng Yichen had no complaints about these three weapons and, in terms of their effectiveness, based on the enhancent materials he had used before, these weapons, in addition to wind properties, also featured spatial distortion. The serpent’s exuvia from the Snake God brought a resistance to spiritual attacks, while the Bull God’s horns possessed curse power and could absorb curses.
The hide of the Supre Demon, resembling that of a bear, would provide extra recovery capabilities when on the ground. The hilt of the sword had the texture of that bear hide, whereas the primary material for the sword was the sa as that used for the Army Decimating series.
It was of the sa specification as the Army Decimating battle saber in Zheng Yichen’s hand.
"Quite a comprehensive weapon," remarked Zheng Yichen as he flicked the blade of one of the swords. There was no conflict whatsoever between this weapon and the Supre Demon Weapon used by Tia.
Longswords for single-handed use and giant swords for two-handed use — different weapons for different enemies. It was always beneficial to have a variety of weapons on hand. With these new weapons, their original Fire Dragon Scale Swords could be retired.
Zheng Yichen set aside the three weapons and turned his attention back to the box. The processor from Wise Dragon No. 10 was indeed precious, and even after Zheng Yichen indicated that he had no shortage of intelligent processors, the officials from the local world still decided to keep it.
They planned to retain it as a backup option—a contingency that already existed. Had the environnt not beco imbalanced preventing its execution, transfer would have started from the outset.
The delay was to prevent these hidden bases from being exposed. But once things were beyond saving, they would activate the Firmant Wheel to retrieve these Wise Dragon cores and entrust them to the selected Dusk hunters, at which point the protocols for revenge would unfold.
Now, all the warriors from here were needed at the front line. The city was currently being used as a transit point, where those who were fit to beco Dusk rcenaries would stay, and those who weren’t suitable for that role would go to the front lines.
Those who left as Dusk rcenaries and resolved problems in other worlds could then choose to go on to yet another world or to stay behind, spreading the knowledge and technology to assist in the advancent of these worlds.
In doing so, they would carry out the ’revenge protocol’ initiated by their world.
Zheng Yichen was considered an unexpected yet ideal choice by them. In those two hours, Wise Dragon No. 9 had been updated, storing a vast amount of data and even including a large Universal Toolbox known as the ’Cradle of Civilization.’
Paired with the Wise Dragon core, it had the potential to swiftly transition a primitive civilization into a high-tech industrial era, like a rocket—it was essentially a mobile base vehicle!
If Zheng Yichen could take it with him, then it was his to have. However, once he learned of its specifications, he imdiately gave up on the idea. It was an over-sized mining truck—a behemoth even compared to the one that carried the fire dragon.
Built-in were four ’star cores’, of which two were in regular use and two were spares. This device was the battery that Zheng Yichen wanted. While it was an excellent piece of tech and he was quite covetous of its capabilities, he simply could not transport it.
It couldn’t even be driven into the garage in the Dusk Territory.
In retaliation against the Boundary Breakers and the Devouring Faction, they spread civilization and knowledge far and wide using a scattergun approach.
He couldn’t take away the highest-spec ’Cradle of Civilization,’ but a standard version was still worth considering. It was smaller, the size of a van, and yet it seed the local authorities were still sowhat dissatisfied.
Miniaturization ant that many features couldn’t be fully realized, and they kept pushing the larger model on Zheng Yichen, hoping he’d take it if he had any kind of spatial tool.
Of course, if a world already had so technological foundation, the Wise Dragon core could still speed up the advancent of that civilization, for the Wise Dragon core itself was a formidable supercomputer.
The miniaturized ’Cradle of Civilization’ would be sent over once the problems of this world were completely resolved.
And before this, their world would still select Dusk hunters to take away the seeds of civilization, even if their world was saved. The Boundary Breakers and the Devourers almost destroyed their world, causing countless casualties. Revenge was inevitable.
They couldn’t find the main base of those forces, but they could keep spreading the ’vaccine.’
"It’s just that you and I are bound to waste so effort," Zheng Yichen said. Perhaps Wise Dragon No. 9 was a bit more powerful now, but AI Lilith had always been growing with him, and he wouldn’t replace her.
"As long as it can be ’retained,’ there is no issue of waste," Wise Dragon No. 9 replied.
"Alright then, my place also could use so developnt... Hmm~ My world is rather special—perhaps it really won’t be a waste after all."
After finishing his words, Zheng Yichen looked towards Tia, who was walking over. The nun in a flurry took all of Zheng Yichen’s gear—the fishing rod, the noise pistol, and the cat spirit cloak among other things were all subject to maintenance and slight upgrades.
Without needing to look closer at his gear, he could equip it on the spot. The key was the enhancent of other equipnt, such as the Army Decimating series of weapons. As for the battle suit, it wasn’t that Zheng Yichen didn’t want to enhance it, but he truly didn’t have enough rit points.
What had he said before? He had too many rit points to spend, and now he started to regret it.
He checked his equipnt. There was nothing particular to critique about the Army Decimating weapons. The enhancent with Sky Pillar’s energy rely provided adaptability in the event of future encounters with Sky Pillar energy, preventing damage from an increase in such power.
There were other changes, but such changes only provided these weapons with extra strength to strike with ’Unity of Heaven and Man.’ However, considering the limit within this world, as a top-tier weapon, the Army Decimating weapons could at least achieve this to so degree, right?
Understanding the cutting force field only took a bit of knowledge to realize its potency—it could slash through the main cannons of the Firmant Wheel. But slashing is just slashing; it’s not neutralizing. It’s like cutting bullets in two, which looks cool, but without the right skills or body strength, the bullet split in half is likely to leave the person with two extra holes.
The Army Decimating series of weapons utilized built-in energy sources that were not the original ’Star Core.’ The original star core batteries couldn’t be used due to size issues, so adjustnts had to be made to fit them, resulting in a castration of various performances to only a tenth of an original star core battery.
However, as the leading energy product of this world, even after being weakened and put into individual weapons, it was more than enough. Zheng Yichen, during the Dusk enhancent, had so energy absorbing material added. After all, if such materials were available for enhancent, it made sense to use them rather than waste them—it just cost more money.
Without spending rit points, and only money, why not use it? Probably because he had gotten used to acting alone, Zheng Yichen had always paid great attention to endurance.
As for using an original star core battery as an enhancent material, it was feasible, but the issue was that such technology exceeded the limits of this world. Using it would not just consu money but would also use up extra rit points—and he had run out of rit points.
Using it in a motorcycle was not within this range mainly because the motorcycle had enough internal space, but the Army Decimating series of weapons didn’t, unless the technology of star core batteries in this world advanced further. Without weakening their performance, the star core batteries could be further miniaturized.
However, such miniaturization was basically unnecessary. The current star core batteries were already very small—super high-performance batteries the size of an adult’s palm. Twenty-four could power the Firmant Wheel to its full capacity. With such quality ’batteries,’ what more could one ask for?
Miniaturization? Without facing a crisis, there would be no further steps in miniaturization; such a thing wasn’t intended for individual weapons!
Creating a miniaturized star core battery that only had one-tenth of the original power, but the cost far exceeded that of the original, and the star core batteries were made by utilizing most of the world’s resources to address a crisis.
For quite so ti to co, it would be difficult to make these batteries. Still, if they could overco the crisis, then their production would not have been a waste. There are so many Firmant Wheels, under normal circumstances without the need for full power, it is entirely possible to take away so of the star core batteries for use elsewhere.
Effortlessly eting the world’s energy demands, why bother with further miniaturization... If it wasn’t for making the beheading plan go more smoothly, there would be no need to self-destruct with a miniaturized star core battery. Only if the person in charge was foolish would they consider it.
With the current specifications, no one would be unsatisfied.
However incredible the star core batteries might be, they still could not overco the environntal imbalance brought by the Devouring Sky Pillar. Exposed to normal environnts, they would quickly be drained of energy, turning into a very ordinary ’stone.’
But after Dusk’s processing, this no longer posed a problem, at least not in an imbalanced environnt, as long as direct contact wasn’t made...
The motorcycle had been in direct contact with a complete Sky Pillar root, and currently, it could not overco it.
