They could have split up, one to each side. Anyone who could beco a Proxy Agent and be pulled to this side by Dusk couldn’t be too weak; they deserved a considerable amount of trust.

After the opening, the rest was related intelligence. Native forces were initially the ones being blatantly manipulated, the old tactics of the Boundary Breaking Faction, by infiltration and substitution within the world’s upper or research echelons, thus laying eggs using another bird’s nest.
The dos were developed after the Devouring Faction appeared. At first, there was no problem with this invention, just as the introduction in the provided information said: the dos protected the majority of humans in this world, allowing them to avoid death from the ’vacuum’ that resulted from environntal imbalance.
The severity and energy levels of this world were very high, and the damage from the imbalance-caused vacuum was even greater, so ordinary people couldn’t withstand it.
The ordinary people who survived under the protection of the dos had also beco hostages, with the enemy-introduced flaws in the dos. However, in this world with its challenging environnt, the locals did not just sit back, they fought hard to gain a certain degree of control despite the disadvantages.
But the cost of gaining control was severe, with the battle resulting in 21 dos completely collapsing. The collapsed dos, however, provided the rest with experience, allowing them to control the remaining dos to a certain extent, even though it ant that roughly one-fifth of the survivors in this world died completely.
The subsequent damage to so dos was due to ongoing conflicts, so caused by the real enemy invasions, which the enemies referred to as hobbyist hunting to pass ti.
Another part was due to the flaws in the dos, which, as the Dusk hunters approached, triggered the automated annihilation system, destroying them. The enemy’s attacks on the dos never stopped, being both physical invasions and systemic attacks.
